This is the best movie since in 20 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To act like a disbled guy is something we used to do as kids, not much acting in looking like that in "the theory of everything",, Michael Keaton is stupendous. An unbelievable performance and it should have been awarded Best Actor. The guy who won it sucked and Keaton was robbed.

Watching the previews I had no idea what this movie was, I picked it up because Emma Stone is in it. I am glad I got it, even though its a bit weird in style it is a good movie and the story makes the style work.

Great camera work as it is continuous for much of the movie. Role fits Keaton perfectly considering he played a super hero in the original Batman the film touches on that aspect without directly saying it early on.

I am a fan of Michael Keaton and always felt like he never got the recognition he deserved but after watching this I feel like more people have finally given him some recognition. this movie shows off his acting as well as the talents of the director and cast and crew. as someone who is into well made films I highly recommend.

    Good Movie, Great Acting

The movie is a tad overrated with the high expectations I had coming in to it. That being said, it is a good movie, but the performances really make it. Michael Keaton is great, and Edward Norton is even better.

Sometimes pointedly oblique, though often more honest than most films are willing to be with their actors, Keaton and Norton strip down their personas and let it all hang out (almost literally in both cases.)

I laughed at the relationships between the characters from frame one. I don't know how accurate the movies portrayal of a production's backstage/front house environment but it appeared to be as intimate, albeit comedically framed, as Black Swan's portrayal of ballet. Wonderfully written and brilliantly acted.

A great, artistic film. So much fun for theater and film lovers and it's a behind the scenes look at how actors approach their craft and how they feel about their art. It's also artistically fantastic as the film is shot to seem like one long take. The acting is amazing and you feel like you're a fly on the wall for this story.

I always loved Michael Keaton as an actor and it's great to finally see him getting some recognition after all these years. Very inventive movie and one that will definitely keep your attention. Recommended

I was surprised that I liked Birdman as much as I did after reading some of the customer reviews online. I had it on my list to watch because of all the awards it won. I was not disappointed.

Iñárritu does a fantastic job shedding a light on aging actor Keaton and the oft difficult to work with Norton in a delightfully fictitious yet biting commentary of the entertainment/Broadway industry.

Won an Oscar for a reason. Well made comedic visually unique but not a turn off, very interesting camera work. Grew up with Keaton he is on point. Music was interesting reminiscing of Seinfeld show.

WELL!!! After seeing Michael Keaton, deliver the BEST performance of his career!!! I was totally let down by the Oscars! It was SOOO RAW, and very believable! even the Metaphysical parts! I was so taken my all the character's, and the story line! Who would have thought that working on Broadway could be this much FUN!!!

I enjoyed this film from beginning to end. A touching film in so many ways. Watching an actor going through a middle age crisis and trying to stay relevant. Great film.

The image and the sound on this bluray are top-notch. The movie itself is a bit polarizing, but the artistry is far above reproach. Keaton is extraordinary. The red packaging and gatefold slipcover are a nice aesthetic touch for making this film stand apart from the rest of your collection as the film already is so unique.

I think it is not the best film of that year (Whiplash was better to me) but Keaton was great and so was the supporting cast. The film is surreal, quirky, and schizophrenic, which will turn off most and I don't blame them. The film is unique, though, and worth seeing once just to see something different.

This movie was very odd but lingered in my memory for a couple weeks after watching it. I wouldn't say I'm likely to watch it again soon but it was quality acting and really made me miss New York a bit.

If you are thinking about seeing this movie, do it. I held off a year to watch it because it looked dull and slow burning. IT'S NOT! It will keep you engaged and wanting to know what happens. Great acting, on top of fantastic camera work and a killer soundtrack makes for a brilliant piece of work. Watch it.

One of the best films of the past year. Innovative and provocative and like nothing you've ever seen before. Featuring some superb performances from Michael Keaton, Zach Galifianakis, Emma Stone and Edward Norton. Oscar winning direction. seamlessly told in a single shot - you'll want to watch this one more than once.

I see why the movie was nominated for all the awards and won the ones it did. Great movie with a deeper meaning and under story. Great acting & support acting also,l and definitely worth the purchase.
