Great Acting from each and every actor made this film an instant classic. Heard about all the hype after Michael Keaton won the Golden Globe, and he does bring it in this film. Edward Norton amazing as usual, and all matched by Emma Stone. Worth the investment at any price.

For every fan of Michael Keaton and any fan of good cinema...this is the film to watch. A true genuine moving picture that proves great movies are still part of Hollywood, occasionally. I hope we get to see more movies like this, but then again, there is only one 'Birdman'.

First one of his first movies as a Night Shift hearse driver full of ideas, to Mr. Mom, to Beetlejuice to Batman Michael Keaton has shown a great range in the ability to be the character he's playing. This movie is no exception. (As far as I'm concerned he's STILL Batman)

Excellent movie for a viewer interested in the thoughts and motivations of Actors. Trailers are incredibly misleading, showing the bombastic 'action' scenes exclusively but it's 100% Actor focused. Director did an incredible job making the movie look like one long take.

Not a movie for everyone but understandable that it won a couple academy awards, including I believe Best Picture. Very interesting filming technique. Strong cast.

Not what I expected... Interesting movie if you like cool editing with an artsy feel. Great acting and writing but you'll have to like a heavy drama for this one.

Interesting pacing and flow to the movie - but to me the most important item was the fact it came with a digital code which I used to add to my UV library!

I saw this movie in the theater and thought it was a very well done and interesting movie. Loved Michael Keaton's performance. My husband hadn't seen it yet so I got him this dvd as a gift. No complaints, still think it's a fabulous, albeit very quirky, movie.

This movie takes on a whole other meaning once you remember Michael Keaton was Batman. In fact a good size of the cast have been in comic book films. Its a great movie and for any film student a great movie to study with its long continues shots. A must watch.

I bought this movie because I like to buy the film that gets best picture of the year. It was very entertaining. I absolutely loved the musical score. It was a very heavy film. It left much room for discussion. I can see it being great for a film literature class.

This movie was actually pretty darn good. The special effects are outstanding and the story is solid. I would definitely recommend checking it out!

A very different "superhero movie". It's the actors view of the superhero movies he did in the past. Some parts left my with more questions and not any answers.

I myself thought that this is one of Michael Keaton's best films. His portray of playing a supehero in a play was brilliant and having an alter ego was superb. All of the other actors was great as well. It's not surprising that this film won a lot of awards.

It was a crowded year of films that could all be best picture winners. Only one could win I was not ashamed that Birdman won. super good story and directing. the acting especially Keaton was off the charts. Nothing was forced not even the fantasy part. loved it all.

Michael Keaton used the BIRDMAN movie to showcase that he still has what it takes to bring in the audience. Although the movie was a little different than what I was thinking, it is still one to have to see in order to fully understand what all of the hype is about.

I can't say with any certainty that the average viewer who heard about Birdman after the Oscars is going to like this film, but I loved it. Despite being a movie that draws from a myriad of sources, it still feels fresh and unlike anything else I saw last year.

I liked Birdman quite a bit but the hype on this movie was over the top. Still, it is an interesting character study and should be seen. Keaton is amazing.

The title says it all. Great script, astounding cinematography, deft direction, and a stellar cast. If you haven't seen it yet, don't wait. The blu-ray release comes with some solid bonus features to give you an idea of how the film was achieved. A must-buy.
