    Fred Astaire gives one of the best performances of his career in Blue Skies when he does his famous dance with his "snapping and jumping" cane to "Puttin On The Ritz." Many of us saw and heard Puttin On The Ritz for the first time watching Mel Brook's Young Frankenstein. Bing Crosby's vocal abilities, tone and singing are at a peak.

    The 2 main actors made 2 movies together. Blue Skies was a good movie!!!

    Good dance numbers. Famous Astaire multi video overdub where he becomes nine or twenty dancers tapping the famous Puttin On The Ritz .
