I have had the hoover carpet cleaner for about 15 years a d multiple versions of them. This blows them out of thr water. Sucks up water great to make the carpet dey faster. It also pulls the dog hair out of the carpet very well.

I am thrilled with my purchase and initial use of the Bissell Big Green Pet Plus shampooer. I have used a Commercial Rug Doctor for years, but noticed it's not so efficient. The Bissell allows you to move forward while spraying the solution then backwards to suck the dirty water. I began with a section of the carpet of about 3 x 3 yards and was absolutely amazined at the amount of dirt and cat hair in the dirty water tank. The Bissell out performed the Commercial Rug Doctor. The Bissell machine also perks up the pile in the carpet. I am also impressed how quickly the carpet dried. All-in-all, I would rather sink the money into this machine rather than into a new living and dining room carpet!

I love how quick and easy this pet plus Bissell rug cleaner cleaned the dirt and pet spots out of my carpet. Especially liked how easily it cleaned my stairs and everything dried so quickly.

We love it! The carpets date fresh again; they look new! This carpet cleaner is worth every penny especially if you have pets! Easy to use and easy to store.

Seems to clean well but leaves a lot of water in the carpet.

If you have pets, this is a must have product. Cleans deep, and doesn't leave much solution behind on the carpet.

This is a quality machine that is well worth the price and convenience of owning. I typically rent a cleaning machine (rug doctor) for the house about once or twice a year to freshen up a few rooms that have high traffic/occupancy of grandchildren. I feel this works as well if not better. It might take a few years to break even, but I appreciate the opportunity to use anytime I want. Cleans extremely well.
