I can't believe the amount of dirt this machine pulled out of my carpeting.

Its a beast to clean my carrpet. I like the power and how fast can clean.

This cleaner replaced our Rug Doctor which was good but began to leak after sometime. The Bissell is excellent and has been used several times to clean the carpet after our 125lbs dog comes in from outside tracking in mud. Way to go Bissell!

Works great! Used one from a sweeper company to clean our carpets and it did a great job! Decided to buy one as we have cream carpets and figured it would be nice to have instead of renting. Love the product, only thing I dont like is the way the handle/trigger is on the pet version. The original green machine has an easier handle that doesn’t hurt my hand as much. But the machine itself is basically the same and works great!

So pleased with the performance of this carpet cleaner. We recently had our carpets cleaned professionally, and after a few pet stains, decided to buy the Big Green Pet+. The portable Bissells work well too but I wanted one that would deep clean the carpets. Well, the Bissell pulled out all kinds of dirt from the carpet that apparently the professional cleaning missed. From now on, I will be using the Big Green to clean my carpets, so quickly it will pay for itself. It's so simple to operate...just add hot water from the tap and add two of the recommended capfuls of cleaner and that's it! It vacuums out the water so well that it's dry in about 2 hours or less. It is big and heavy and might be overkill for some, but it's reassuring to know I can clean our carpets at any time and get great results. Trust the positive reviews on the Bissell Big Green Pet Plus.

Works great for carpet, not so much on upholstery. The attachment isn't great...sprays everywhere except where you want it to. Also, don't read the instructions. If you just figure everything out on your own, its way easier. The instructions will only confuse you. I still recommend it though, its great for carpet!

I would give this 0 stars if I could. The seal in the water tank went bad and so we ordered a new one from Bissell at our cost. Now the hand tool does not work and I am told it is probably because the pump is not working correctly. In talking with Bissell they want me to ship it back to them in Texas. I am in Illinois. They provide no shipping materials and the label they gave me for FedEx only covers 10lbs. They told me they expect that customers will keep the original box for the length of the warranty period. The unit weighs 40lbs based on their own spec. So, FedEx will not accept the label they provided. This is our 3rd carpet cleaner from Bissell and only 2 things have been consistent. 1. The products work great in the first few months and then they start to leak or have other issues. 2. Bissell warranty / customer support is not helpful at all. The last agent I spoke to about getting a label that FedEx will accept just told me that the 10lb label is fine and to "prove" to them that FedEx will not accept it. Then they just left the chat without allowing me to respond. Do not buy this unit or any other bissell product unless you want to get the run around for weeks. This is an expensive product, but they have no intention of helping me get it repaired.

Super easy to use! I haven’t used the attachments and unfortunately my dog chewed through a piece so I have to reorder to use. I wish it had a steam option.

The Big Green PET PLUS is effective at removing old pet stains from carpet, is easy to use, and is easy to disassemble and clean. Great carpet cleaner!

So, the elephant in the room is how heavy this thing actually is. I am a guy who works out four to six times a week and will tell you that I was shocked at how heavy this unit was the first time I pulled it out of the box. That said, out of the box this monster could clean up quite well after that elephant and probably any other monsters. Once you get it out of the box, I recommend just cutting the stupid box from it. The Bissell Big Green Pet Plus is super simple to setup, use, and clean. The device has extremely easy to read instructions that will have you cleaning within just a few minutes after opening. We have two monsters {not elephants ;P} one is a great Pyrenees with awfully long hair and the other is a short hair border collie lab mix. We love our two dogos and let them live as naturally inside our home as we do. They are house broken and rarely have accidents, but they are wild and love to run around outback and get into as much trouble as they can find. We have carpet floors in the bedrooms, wood in the principal areas, and tile in the kitchen and baths. We of course have to clean our floors due to the hair but we really only steam clean the carpets every so often. The last often was a while ago because what the suction on the Big Green pulled out of the primary bedrooms floor actually made me nauseous and disgusted. I just could not believe that in two backwards swoops that the machine pulled that much junk out of our carpet. Each room was the same and I even felt ashamed as a parent after doing my daughter's room where the big fella often resides. The carpets are so clean now that we forgot that they were as light of a beige color as they are. We use the cleaner on several bad spots, and I was impressed with how quickly it pulled stains out of the woven carpet or couch cushion fabric. The hose attachment work very well and it comes in clutch on furniture and around the baseboards. The Bissell exposed something that I did not want to know, and I have considered just pulling up the carpet since we are not getting rid of the dogs, obviously. The only three negatives I have are the fact that the Bissell is so so very heavy, the list price, and that the Big Green did not fair that well with the longer dog hair. I was having to pull the wet hair out often to prevent potential damage or potential clogging. I could have been just overly cautious though because this is no small investment. After seeing what we poured down our drains though, an investment I absolutely think is responsibly worth it.

Great Carpet Cleaner. This item works better than the Rug Doctor in my opinion would definitely recommend.

This does everything very easy to use deep cleans gets up long haired cats and dog for fur

Very heavy, bulky, collects pet hair and leaves it all over the floor as you clean.

This makes cleaning the carpets so much easier. Just like the professionals use.

This review is for Best Buy and not the Big Green Pet Plus. Best Buy decided to send me a used machine with used cleaning solution. It had debris in the tank smelling like cleaning solution and leaking water out the bottom tank. I’m glad someone got to enjoy before they returned it. Sadly I have no idea if this thing works or not I have to now find a store that has them in stock. I’m done buying from Best Buy as this isn’t the first time I paid for something new and got something used.
