Bought this to replace a Bissell , was a little worried might not be that much better than the old one for 200.00 more but it was money well spent, carpets feel like new and look great. easy to use. Little on the heavy side compare to others but that's probably not a bad thing.

Use warm water not hot and you shouldn't have problems with flow gauge. Cleaning ability is amazing with this machine. Works as well as professional cleaning and possibly better. I was blown away with how many passes it took before the flow was clean in different areas of my living room that was professionally cleaned a few months ago. I wish the tanks were a bit larger as it took me 3 tanks of clean solution to finish my 15 x 22 living room and 1 side of my couch as a test on furniture. The hose attachment is a bit tricky for getting a good spray and seal on furniture, but it does work well once you get the hang of it. The sample cleaner was also excellent and I bought more of the Bissell brand cleaner based on the smell and results.

my previous carpet cleaner was Royal MRY7910 it worked well until it didn't work. However this Bissell is a notch above. This cleans better and in both directions which cuts down the time required. It doesn't have a heater, no bother just put hot tap water. And it is much easier to clean up. And for those who think this machine is too big know that the size difference is nominal compared to standard carpet cleaners. My only wish is that it would get under furniture better... I use these for my rentals and love it.

This cleaner is AMAZING! It is easy to use, requires little (if any) pre-spotting, removes a substantial amount of the water and is easy to clean up before storing. My old cleaner (which was also considered ‘top of the line’ did not do any of those things anywhere near as well. It is definitely professional quality in a home machine. The hand unit is easily attached/removed and also does a great job. The ONLY downside is that it is very heavy. I have learned to remove both water receptacles and then it can be moved to other levels (even though it is still heavy).

I’ve owned many of carpet cleaners because of pets. By far the best carpet cleaner I have ever purchased. This is top of the line and my carpets have never been cleaner and smell better but also have dried a lot faster because of the better suction from pulling the water out of the carpet. I’d pay for this machine again and again.

Best carpet cleaner I have ever used! Very sturdy, easy to use and just plain works. Read all the excellent reviews and pulled the trigger. I never knew I needed this thing so bad. Yes it's a lot heavier than the other carpet cleaners, but I've owned uprights and spot cleaners and this thing is professional grade. PERIOD! I didn't know how nasty my carpets were until today.

I have had Hoover products for the past 20years to save money. Their products work well but break within two years. It got to the point I would keep the old one for parts. This is my first Big Green product and immediately you can notice the difference in build quality. I used it on all my carpets and rugs and there is a Noticeable difference in how clean everything turned out. Only downside is the weight and bulk.

Just as good if not a little better than the rental style rug doctors. It’s big, heavy, but worth the investment

The Bissell Big Green Machine is a very professional piece of equipment !!! We have used it a couple times and must say it is easy to use and did an outstanding Job. I would Highly recommend it to anyone.. I had a Rug Doctor before this machine and it was a good product But I must say the Big Green Machine is a better machine... Thanks so much... Elliott

great machine for a family with pets and carpet, easy to use and works just like the store rented machines. I find myself using it more since its always available, no stress in having to return the machine by a certain time, small accident just pull it out, set it up and the stain is gone...we use the hose attachment for our car mats and microfiber sofa, works great..

Bought this after we had a professional company do our rugs. They had left pet stains that the previous owners left for us. This machine along with the bissel products removed every stain. Areas dried as i expected. Only downside is that it's a little heavy. Oh, and i used the hand held portion on my steps, and that worked great!

Okay, let's be clear - this is a professional-level cleaner. we had a lower-level Bissell that broke-down that did an okay job with the carpets. This thing sets a whole different standard -much more powerful, much more efficient, much stronger cleaner. We have pets who are prone to accidents, and this cleaner deals with them marvelously.

I bought this carpet cleaner on July 2021. I wanted to take my time and use it for a while before I gave it a rating. The equipment does deliver. Everyone including myself was in awe after I was done cleaning a very dirty dining room carpet. The ease of use and quality of work speak for themselves. Kudos to Bissell. Keep up the good work !!!!

I am no fan of chores, but using this carpet cleaner is a snap and the results are amazing. We have spent the last 9 years in the same house renting a commercial machine twice a year. Now I feel like a fool for not having bought one of these sooner. Being able to clean with the machine moving forward AND backward is a game changer. If you are considering a carpet cleaner, just go ahead and get one of these. It will make you happy.

What else can you say about this beast, If you want to clean your carpets don't mess around with those cute little cleaners, go for the Green Machine you won't be disappointed. This machine gives professional level carpet cleaning, and it's easy to use. My only complaint is that it's a Big Green PLASTIC Machine. But it works and works well.

I love this carpet cleaner. Very easy to use. I have mainly used it to deep clean our mattresses. It did a beautiful job and the mattress dried very quickly. I was shocked to see just how much dirt was actually in our mattresses. Will be tackling the carpets downstairs soon.

Easy to handle excellent cleanup great storage! Stop buying cheap carpet cleaners if you have dogs get a good cleaner that will make your life simple like this one spending the extra money was well worth it in this situation

Works very well. Only “ negatives “ are that it’s loud and quite heavy!

Works almost as well as a rental. Lays down and sucks up good water. A little smaller (width and tank) than a rental. My only real gripe about it is that with a rental, the handle locks in mid position, allowing you to lift and put pressure on the brushes. This one does not and I think that is why it doesnt clean quite as well. That said, it beats any other upright cleaner I have ever owned. I've owned three. If you're going to spend 250 anyway, spend 200 more and get this one.
