Not a good product at all, bad coustomer service!!

I so wanted to love this vaccum. Mainly because it's PINK! And also it was a great price. I put it together easily enough, explored all the features and then took it for a test drive on the living room area rug. It did great! Picked up tons of debris easily, maneuvered great... plus it was PINK! But then... I decided to try it on my bare floors. :( It's a necessity for me to have a vaccum cleaner that works great on both carpet AND bare floors. So I switched the setting to bare floors and proceeded to vaccum... but as soon as I hit the bare floors the NOISE from this machine was SO loud - it literally sounded like I was cutting wood with a buzz saw. It was horrid. The brush roll does NOT stop turning on the bare floor setting and there is no switch to turn it off either. That is a major drawback for me that I did not realize prior to making this purchase. I called Bissell and the representative told me that the bare floor setting "was not compatible with my bare floors". o.O He also informed me that the unit was working properly (even with the horrible sound on bare floors) and suggested that I raise the height of the vaccum setting to one made for higher pile carpets to avoid the noise. It was then that I realized that I did not want to just suck it up and settle for a poor design feature. :( Even though it's PINK - I reluctantly returned the item and went with another brand that had the features that I now realize are more important than it being PINK!

Quiet...great suction and convenience. It earned great reviews from my family. Excellent price.

..... but in a good way. For its price, this is a great product. Like so many others I thought my carpets were clean until I saw what this little vacuum picked up. This is my first Bissell product and it won't be the last.

I recently bought this vacuum bc it was on sale. I have only used it a couple times and the Chamber needed to be emptied so I know it's doing a great job! Easy to use, not overly loud, and has a cord drawback instead of having to wind it up yourself!

I bought this to use on my unfinished basement floor (concrete). We had drywall dust and sawdust everywhere from finishing the rooms. This vac has lots of suction and multiple settings for height adjustment. The filters have been easy to get out and clean the dust out of. Wish there was a way to turn off the beater brush at times, but it hasn't been a deal breaker. Don't hesitate to buy this, works great.

My old Dirt Devil vacuum broke down so the plan was to replace it with a low cost reliable vacuum, luckily i searched the Best Buy website and came across this Bissel - Cleanview bagless upright vacuum, it had great reviews and I couldn't be happier with the way it cleans my carpet, great vacuum, low cost.

I've spend hundreds of dollars for top of the line vacuum cleaners this machine has done the same job for much less money . Very impressed how well this machine works. Paid less than $100 bucks and its does the same job for those machines people spend $300+ for.

Had the vacuum a good 4 years and it works really well with pet hair. Nice and light and love the retractable cord.

Bissell never fails to disappoint. This is a great, lightweight vacuum cleaner albeit overpriced. The MSRP is $79.99 on the Bissell website so I didn't really get a sale. It gets the job done although the extremely plastic parts it's made with don't appear to be long lasting.

So, we only have carpet in our basement, and don't expect to use it often. On our first use, the vacuum powered through picking up some dried baking soda all over the basement. We used the attachment hose to get to the corners, and it worked perfectly.

My cat sheds a lot of fur all the time and I thought there was a permanent layer of hair on my carpets. I was wrong, the second i rolled this vacuum over the carpet - the hair was gone and the carpet was spotless! there had been so much cat hair I couldn't believe! Picks up animal hair so well its a must have if you intend to have a clean house. Love my new vacuum!

I usually use the Bissell heavy duty so my comparison is to that one. This vacuum doesn't have a light on the front. Also, the on/off button is in a hard to reach place. I like the retractable cord but the cord is so low on the vacuum. It's hard to get it under control when I'm vacuuming. Overall it gets the job done and it's quiet. I don't like that it doesn't have a light, the location of the on/off switch and the cord being so low.

This vacuum cleaner works pretty well. I've had it several months now and have had no problems with it. It gets the job done.

Really powerful...pulled out dirts from my old carpet amazingly.

I thought this would be a pretty good product before I bought it, but I didn't have high expectations, This was so much better than I expected. I had a old vacuum before that didn't seem to do much but this pulled so much dust out of my carpet that I had to double take. If you want a quality product, that will last, then buy this!

This vacuum is great. I especially like the cord rewinder & how easy it is to empty out.

My Hoover decided it didn't want to suck anymore after a year and a half so I was left either figuring how to fix it or just getting a new one. Since I know nothing about how to fix vacuums I just got a new one. I previously had a Bissel that lasted 7 or 8 years before it died so I decided to go back. This guy cleaned far more dust and dirt than the Hoover did and seems to do a really good job right now. We'll see how well it does in a year or two. The only knocks on this vacuum is that the hose is kind of short and doesn't stretch very well (at least while it's new) and the cannister seems to get filled pretty fast, so it's probably smaller than I'm used to. Definitely get this vacuum if you live in an apartment and just want something simple and cheap to clean up with. It certainly doesn't have the bells and whistles but it has a powered brush and the suction is good.
