Not for heavy carpet.

The motor is a bit anemic and bogs down quickly on heavy plies. Overall I will still recommend it as it's very easy to take apart and clean and did a fantastic job on most short carpets and hard floor

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review....dirt that is:) When my last vacuum (a dyson) conked out, I didn't want to shove out that kind of money again, but still wanted a good product. So far it's good. It picked up all the dirt the dyson was leaving behind, I like the rewind feature. The only con so far is the power cord isn't as long as the dyson so I have to unplug and plug for each room.

WOULD NOT BUY

It would quit then half way through the living room it would start making the loud noise again. Then quit sucking all together. After going back to best buy where I purchased it they didn't want to exchange or help in anyway what a waste of money...
