Customers are saying

Customers admire the CleanView Swive Rewind Pet Select Upright Vacuum's powerful suction, ease of use, and lightweight design, frequently praising its performance on pet hair and the convenient cord rewind feature. While some users found the noise level to be high, many appreciated the vacuum's overall value and the helpfulness of its attachments. A few customers reported issues with the belt and brush roll, but these concerns were less frequent than positive feedback.

A few highlights, a few low points

I was reasonably surprised by this vacuum although the results are a bit mixed. The swivel action was impressive. It was not at the same level of a Dyson, but was pretty impressive for this level of product. As a result, it offered some good maneuverability. Another highlight is that it's reasonably light for a traditional vacuum and the handle easily clicks into place. That may not seem like a big deal but it is frustrating when you have to move the vacuum handle repeatedly to get it to catch so it doesn't fall over. On the disappointing side, the vacuum head is a little too tall in the back. It's fine if you are vacuuming directly in front of you, but if you go to slide it down the side of a cabinet, the back of the head is too tall so it rams into the cabinet. Not a huge deal, but a bit annoying. The retractable coil is a nice feature, but I wasn't a fan. As with any retractable cord, you really have to watch out when you hit that button to retract the cord. If you typically use the entire length of the cord you then have to pull it all out of the vacuum instead of just filling the handle like you do with a normal vacuum to have the entire cord available. Also it comes with a bunch of tools yet they don't all fit on the vacuum so the wand that you might want to use to get into those small spots isn't right there with you, it's in a cabinet or closet. Overall, there were some good things on the basic function of the vacuum, but I wasn't a huge fan. Depending on your price point, this might be a good option but some of the features aren't perfect.

Excellent cleaning and tool set for the price

Pro -Lightweight -Inexpensive -Includes good tool/attachment set -Auto power cord retract Con -Doesn't include basic T-head attachment -Onboard tool storage can't hold all attachments -Doesn't clean hardwood as well as carpet -No "headlight" on the unit -Longer hairs still get caught on the roller Overall There's not much to say about the CleanView other than it's a nice, inexpensive option for a vacuum cleaner. At only $130, it's very affordable. It's great for carpet and upholstery, though sometimes hardwoods gives it a little trouble when dealing with fine dirt. You get a nice assortment of attachment tools. It's bagless and the dirt canister is very quick and easy to remove and empty. And the power cord auto winding feature is pretty nice. The downsides are few and not terribly bad. While you get a nice power head wand attachment, you don't get a normal T head. And though the vacuum has enough clips on the body to hold everything, you'll have to leave either the extension wand, slimjim, or power head off since they can't all fit on it. And though the auto cord winder is handy, it's sometimes annoying when you accidentally hit the retract button. I also don't want to think about if the spring ratchet in it ever breaks ( though that might never happen either ). It doesn't have a headlight on the base, which I find ueful for seeing in the darker nooks and crannies around the room. And while it's touted as being clog free for pet hair, longer hair ( like 6+ inches ) will still bind around the roller bar. But all in all, for this price range, it's a very maneuverable, powerful, and lightweight vacuum cleaner.

Good features for a budget vacuum

This vacuum is comes in at a budget price tag but provides quite a few features for the money. It does have a few areas where it could be improved but overall it's a good buy. Construction is solid but it's not too heavy so it's not bad to bring up and down stairs. In the few weeks that I've used it it's held up well since I have to use it daily with constant pet hair throughout the house. At first, I was a bit worried about how it swivels slightly at the base but it provides ease of use when making turns and getting around corners. Suction is really good. Picked up bits of dog food and other larger objects with no problem. Also, there is very little "dead area" on the sides of the main head so it does a good job in corners. Cord Rewind: I was a little skeptical of this feature as these sort of systems seem to get tangled after a while but haven't had any issues here and it rewinds the cord quickly and consistently. I quite liked how the power as well as the release is located on the bottom of the unit so you just use your foot to angle down the handle as well as turn it on or off. Attachments: Pretty standard selection here but I do especially like the Turbo Eraser Pet tool with the rubber flaps that do a really good job getting hair off of textured fabrics and is really good on microfiber-type fabrics as well. This version came with a Febreeze air filter which was WAY too overpowering. The smell was pretty strong so just be aware of that. One odd thing is that the rotating head doesn't turn off when you are using the hose attachment, so that's kind of weird, but the other thing that was odd is that the hose is too long for how it's attached to the back. The upper hook for the hose needs to be higher as right now there is some extra hose that sort of hangs off with no place to go. But even with those few complaints, I'd be hard pressed to give it 3 stars rather than 4 as it's a solid unit.

    Heavy Plastic

First impression when I opened the box and removed the accessories and handle I was disappointed because it seemed to be made of cheap plastic. I removed the vacuum from the box and it was kind of heavy. I attached the handle to the vacuum with the two screws provided, which was easy, and then added the attachments to their respective spots. Now I was ready to vacuum the entire living room. The one thing I really liked was the retractable cord, but I wish it was placed higher up so I didnt have to hold it up so I dont run over it. I vacuumed the area rug and office and livingroom floor and I was impressed with the suction and how it picked up dirt and dust from the sides and corners. I also liked that it came with a spare fabreeze filter. The vacuum came with a peteraser attachment and although it remove the pet hair, I had to go over the same spot a few times. Also when I pressed down a little harder the roller would stop but still suction. Its a useless tool. When using any accessory the suction was strong that the vacuum would always fall over. When I finished vacuuming it was very easy to empty the canister. Overall, Bissell is known for their vacuums and I wish they would make a small powerful vacuum with accessories that remove pet hair. And is multi floor use. I gave it three stars because of the retractable cord and suction power.

We've used this vacuum after using another name brand vacuum, and this vacuum found more debris that was left behind by the other one. This thing is great, plenty of suction. Does great on carpet with pets, such as long haired cats and dogs. Has a retractable long cord, the head swivels which makes it that much easier to maneuver. Overall a very great vacuum.

Good suction, wonky wheels and design

I have used this vacuum a few times and I've been relatively impressed. Suction strength is very good and the dust bin seems sufficiently large. I really like the addition of the optional Febreeze infused filter to really give the house a clean scent. Removal of the dust bin is east but reassembly takes some attention and careful alignment, so that could be better. The adjustable height is great for adjusting between bare floors and high pile rugs/carpets, although you will have to bend over to turn the knob so it's not really an "on-the-fly" adjustment system. The on-board tool storage is decent, but the crevice tool attachment point is interfered with by the hose and will continually fall off which has led me to just toss it in the closet instead of trying to keep it with the vacuum at all times. The rear wheels on my unit seem to be out of round or something as they wobble and "clunk" when moving the machine which can be disconcerting to say the least. The built-in cord winder is a welcome addition and even though the cord is stated to be 27 feet long, I wish it were a bit longer as I am forced to unplug and replug multiple times to finish the job. The powerhead is a little taller than on the unit this one it replaced and that makes getting under furniture more difficult. If these small things could be fixed, this would be a fantastic vacuum. As is, I have to rate it as slightly above-average.

I didn't realize how little my old vacuum has been picking up. When I did the living room with this one, I had to empty the container 4 times, so it picks up a lot! It's also easy to put together. There are a few downsides though, it doesn't always want to push easily, and because of the swivel base, it sometimes doesn't go straight. Plus, as others have said, the crevice extension doesn't fit too well. I have found the Febreze filter is a bit strong for me, but I'm sure others would love it. All in all, I really like the vacuum.

I have been using the Bissell CleanView Bagless Pet Vacuum for a few hours now and WOW! I'm embarrassed about how much pet hair my old vacuum missed. It took about 5 minutes to set this up (connecting the pipes, handle, etc). What I love is it comes with, what they call, a Turbo Eraser, which is great for getting pet hair out of the couch. Other things to love is it comes with a Febreeze Air Filter (no more odd vacuum smell - you know what I mean) and the cord is retractable. This bagless pet vacuum is the best and with a 4 year warranty I know I will have it for many years to come. If you have a dog or a cat, buy this!

Some assembly is required. You will need a phillips head screw driver to attach the handle into the base. This is a decent vacuum for the price. It gets the job done but it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of the other ones. The suction is pretty powerful and the vacuum is really light weight and easy to use. It did a pretty good job of picking up my Pomeranian's fur. The cord was a decent length and the canister held a good amount and was easy to empty. It comes with the standard set of attachments that are easy to use.

This vacuum is excellent quality and power for the cost! If you have a pet at home and are constantly trying to get up your pet's hair this is an excellent choice for hair! Even my own hair that tends to get everywhere this vacuum one quick swoop and I am able to completely clear my floor. Only have to vacuum about once a week now, and have a hair free floor!

After using this vacuum cleaner for a few days, I can say it is not my favorite but it works. The suction is great, it easily vacuums under furniture and I love the retractile cord. However, that is where my love ends. It isn't very stylish, the accessories don't seem to attach anywhere and it has an annoying high pitch sound when in use.

This vacuum isn't anything special to write home about. My shark stick vacuum does a better job than this vacuum. I do like the cannister, it holds quite a bit. It did require a few passes to suck up some salt in the rug from our winter boots, where my shark would have been good after 2. I think ill stick to Shark

Despite the prong breaking I still believe the vacuum is a good quality. It picked up dirt better then other vacuums I have used. I contacted bissell and they fixed the situation. I recommend bissell over many other brand vacuums.
