SURE DOES SUCK!

While it does require maintenance ever 3-4 uses, it does a great job of picking up the cat hair and other dirt and messes in my shoddy apartment budget carpet. Very easy to maintain although the delivery hose can get bugged up a bit. I've had to take it apart a couple times to clear it out. Once it's throat is clear, however, it sucks pretty well.

Like all of these type of uprights, the canister and filter need to be cleaned/emptied often (generally after each use) or else the vacuuming performance really drops off. It is easy to clean the filter and canister however. The hose and attachments are a slightly narrower size than other makes, so it may be more prone to clogging. Buy the extended warranty too.

Ultimate Suction Power!

Be careful on small bathroom or area rugs though. The suction power is so strong when you have it on the lowest level it literally can suck the fabric/thread out of the area/bathroom rug. Had a foam rug in my bathroom and it literally sucked the foam off the rug accidently when it flipped over while vacuuming. BUT...it works great otherwise!

Overall good vacuum

My only gripe is the handheld brush attachment. I know it's for pet hair but I think it could have been done a little better. It might work great for pet hair on couches but I would like to use it for the stairs and it doesn't work that great. For the price though, its fantastic!
