With that being said, the one time I used it, it could not have performed any better. I have very light toned rugs which now look new (real age: 10 years). It even had the “crunch” of new as I walked around the room looking for crumbs that might have been missed. It felt good to walk bare foot again, and no, no crumbs. One pass and all the things you find on a carpet were gone. The same clean as one of those super hyped machine for a mere fraction of the cost.
