  • It did a nice job on the tile/wood floors, but on dirty carpets it was just ok; I didnt think it would great the deep ground in dirt out, but it did vacuum up the loose dirt nicely, and all in all, its a nice machine, as long as you dont expect it to get up "hard core" ground in dirt!wase4711

Very Impressed! We received the CrossWave a few days ago and I wanted to give it a couple good uses first before writing anything. We also a different branded floor scrubber and I wanted to test this against it also. Unboxing was simple, it came in a large cardboard box with plenty of paper egg shell type liners. Inside you'll find the machine wrapped in plastic, in basically two pieces. Just remove the handle and body assembly, remove all the plastic bags and little advertisement flyer attached to the side, slide the handle into place till you hear it snap in and you are done. The cord is nice and long, we can reach around our kitchen and dining area easily using one plugin. Also inside the box you will find two small bottles of cleaning solutions, one multi floor and one for hardwood, two brushes - one for hardwood and one multi floor brush, there's one multi floor brush already installed and ready to go. There's also a plastic tray for setting the machine in after use and to be used for cleaning out the machine, a plastic brush holder is also included and snaps into the side of the plastic flor tray, nice for storing and drying your brushes after use. A manual, guide and warranty registration card are also included, it's nice to see Bissell has given this a two year warranty also. For our test I first ran our normally used vacuum over the area rugs in the kitchen and dining area, figured I wanted to give it a good test and see if it actually picked up anything our vac didn't. I filled the solution bottle to the large area marks "figuring two rugs and the tile floor around may take a lot", but I only used about half of the solution recommended, I've found over the years I can use less than what's recommended in all the machines we've owned and this seemed like a lot to me, "just personal choice". I started the machine up and began with the runner in the kitchen, be sure to select the "Rug" power button for which floor type you'll be cleaning on. When you depress the solution release trigger two leds light up the solution path on the head and you can see the solution flowing "neat", a great way to see that the solution is coming out. While running the machine is a little heavy to run around as it cleans and vacs it really sticks to the rug and takes a little effort to move, "not bad by any means" and less than our full sized carpet cleaner. With the clear head surrounding the brush you can see the solution doing it's work, foaming up and being sucked in. I didn't pay much attention to the dirty water tank at this point, I focused on getting that carpet clean. After a good run over the kitchen runner I ran it around the tile floor around it "switching the power switch to hard floor", I could visually see the floor getting cleaner and a second quick pass after the solution application really pulled off a lot of the water leaving the floor just barely damp. Next I went over to the are rug in the dining area "breakfast nook" and started there, also setting the power switch to rug. I did notice the solution tank really didn't use a lot of solution and was surprised, I expected more, but the floor and runner were definitely getting enough as they were left slightly damp. After running over the throw rug in the dining are, I did the tile around it with a couple quick passes and then shut off the machine for cleaning and inspection. We were really surprised as to what came out of those rugs, the visibly were a lot cleaner, and the dirty water tank looked like a cup of hot chocolate with chunks "eww", can't believe that came out of the carpets even after going over them with the regular vac "and it's a high end popular model to boot". The water was absolutely dark, lots of what looked like mud laying in the bottom "see pic". Taking the unit apart for cleaning couldn't be easier, first just take out the water tank, dump, remove the air filter, wash out the tank assembly and set aside to dry, I also rinsed out the air filter according to instructions and set it aside to dry out. Next, cleaning the brush was easier than expected, just lift up on the back side of the cover and it pops right off, then there's a small tab on the right side of the brush marked "pull", pull up and the brush comes right out. I took that to the sink rinsed and squeezed out all the water I could and put it in the drying tray. I noticed the head and intake tube had a lot of dirt in them so I took it to the bath tub and rinsed it out and placed in the try to dry, I had actually forgotten you can use the tray to rinse the whole thing out, just used to cleaning our old carpet cleaner that way, I'll try that sometime. Oh, and the solution tank, it only took half of it to clean up those areas, wow, our other one took at least one tank "and it's bigger". So this appears really economical to run. In all I'd say this beat our other floor cleaner by simple versatility, how well it cleaned and how little of the solution it actually used. It probably doesn't get right down into the grout as well as our other one, but I'll know more as time goes on, and it's easy enough to use more often so that may be a moot point. My wife is really pleased with the outcome, some of the spots on the runner in the kitchen are now gone and it looks great. The throw rugs colors in the dining area look like new again, "didn't realize they were that dingy till after cleaning". I'll highly recommend this floor cleaner and if you have a lot of hardwood, laminate, tile and throw rugs "which we do, no carpet anywhere" then this would be a great machine for you. I did see Bissell is coming out with a area rug specific brush and have that on my want list as I think it will do an even better job on the throw rugs even though the results are already outstanding.

No matter how much I try to keep our kitchen floors clean, they never seem to stay that way. It’s a constant struggle especially when you have pets and the kitchen is a main thoroughfare through the house. I’ve tried regular mops, sweeping the floor every other day, steam mops, and even simple rags with cleaning solution on the floors. While it helps for an initial cleaning, within hours of the floors drying, they are right back to needing to be cleaned. The Bissell Crosswave is truly the ultimate cleaning solution for heavily traveled floors. The Crosswave is a mop and vacuum in one device. It comes packaged as a single unit with the handle insertion being the only assembly required. When I took the cleaner out of the box, I was able to start cleaning the floors within about 10 minutes (operator manual review included). The Crosswave comes packaged with two bottles of cleaning solution - multipurpose and wood floors. The bottles while small stretch out for a long period of time because you dilute it with warm water when you fill the cleaning solution reservoir. The Crosswave is very sturdy. It’s a solid cleaning device and one of the most impressive parts to me is that the vacuum comes with a storage tray for it to live on. This would prevent any excess fluid from spilling onto the floor after using it for a cleaning. So, the big question is, “how well does it clean?” My answer is very well. When I first started it up, the vacuum part of the device picked up dirt and debris right away, but it took a few minutes for me to really notice the mop part working. Because I was using it in a heavily trafficked area of our house, I knew there was a lot of dried grass that had been tracked in, dog food and hair, as well as regular dirt that had settled on the floor. It was a good testing ground for the Crosswave. After about 5 minutes of running the Crosswave over the kitchen floor, I found that the floor felt cleaner. I was walking through the room barefoot and could actually tell the difference between the section of floor that had been cleaned, and the one that hadn’t. It was very refreshing to see a cleaning tool work so well on such a difficult area to clean. The Bissell Crosswave works better than just a standard sweeping or steam mop will do, but every once in a while, you may still have to take a mop to the floor for the hard to scrub places.

I was curious about how well the Bissel CrossWave would be since it's advertised as a vacuum and floor cleaner all-in-one. Thanks to my 3 year old, I didn't have to wait long to find out - thanks to spilled milk on our tile floor. For starters, this is much lighter than traditional floor cleaners which is a welcome surprise. It comes with cleaner for hardwood floors and another for multi-purpose projects, like carpet and tile. It also comes with 3 rollover brushes: 1 designed solely for tile/hardwood and 2 multi-purposes rollers for use on tile/hardwood/carpet/rugs. The water tank also has markings for water-to-solution mixes for both small cleanups and larger jobs. One of the best features is the drying tray. I hated that our older carpet cleaner basically had to hang out until it dried. This comes with a drying stand so it can dry and be out of sight at the same time. It's a bit louder than I expected, but no more than a typical vacuum and much quieter than a typical cleaner. It cleaned up a spill effortlessly and quickly and the floor was left nice and clean with no residue of any kind. The floor was totally dry after a few minutes. The tank, filter and roller brush disassemble quickly and painlessly to make cleaning up afterwards a breeze! Pros: • Lightweight design • Vacuum & cleaner combo • Drying stand and rollers • Cleaning solution included Cons: • Debris and dirty water fill same tank - so expect some wet hair if you have pets Overall this is an awesome combo cleaner. It's lighter and easier to use than the spot cleaner we had previously and can handle light debris cleanup, meaning the big Dyson Animal can be saved for more heavy duty cleaning! No regrets here!

The Bissell Cross Wave was a snap to assemble, as only one part (the handle) had to be clicked into place. That's it, no further assembly was required. The Cross Wave has a real solid feel to it, as compared to other floor cleaner/carpet cleaners that I have used in the past. The instructions were decent and left no unanswered questions. I have 1700 square feet of tile throughout the house that the unit was used on. The Cross Wave handled the job with no problem. Noteworthy was the fact that the unit had no problems with the vacuuming of small bird seeds and debris. Other cleaners that I have used in the past only propelled the debris to another part of the floor. That was not the case for this unit. Debris was easily sucked and swept into the cleaner. The filling of the water and floor cleaner solutions could not have been easier. The bottle has two fill levels. One level is for small areas, and the other is marked for larger areas. The bottle is also marked for how much of the cleaner solution you need. All the guesswork has been taken out of the equation. This is a very nice touch. The unit also has a dirty water chamber that is a snap to release and empty. The Bissell Cross Wave is far quieter than other models that I have used in the past. The Cross Wave left my tile floors really clean and shiny. No need to spot clean any of my floors before you using this unit. The unit worked quite well on some area rugs and had no problem taking on the job.The Bissell Cross Wave is a great cleaner and is backed by a 2 year guarantee. Two years is a great amount of time to stand behind a unit. The Cross Wave is a winner in my opinion.

I was eager to put the Bissell CrossWave to the test. I have white tile floors in the kitchen and bathrooms, an area rug in the living room, and laminate flooring throughout my home. Dirt, debris, hair, food stains, and water marks easily show through the white tile floors of my kitchen. Ordinarily this job would require me to use a broom and dust pan to pick up the debris, dirt, and hair, and then bring out the pail and mop to clean up the food stains. This would take at least twenty minutes. However, all of that was easily taken care of by the CrossWave in a matter of two minutes. The dual action mop and vacuum turned a chore into an enjoyable experience. The cleaning solution that came with the CrossWave did an excellent job removing the tough stains and left a fresh lemon scent. Cleaning the area rug was also a cinch and the stains were no match for the CrossWave. The remainder of flooring in my house is laminate flooring, and I was curious to see how much dust, dirt, and hair the CrossWave would remove compared to my usual tried and true method of using the dry, disposable and refillable cleaning cloths from a certain name brand product. Setting the CrossWave on the hard floor mode, I let the vacuum and multi-floor roller brush work its magic. Once the laminate flooring was cleaned with the CrossWave, I took the dry cleaning cloths from a competitor floor cleaning product and proceeded to go over the same areas where I used the CrossWave. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the CrossWave cleaned my laminate floors. The dry cleaning cloths did not pick up much more dirt. The cloths remained clean and white. However, on corners and edges, the dry cloths did a slightly better job of getting into those harder to reach areas and picked up the remaining dust and hair. The CrossWave is also very easy to use. Buttons are conveniently located on the handle to select between rugs and hard floors, and mopping action. Measuring the proportion of cleaning solution and water is also quickly done using the fill container with markings that clearly indicate how much water and solution to add. The CrossWave comes with a good length electrical cord. I measured it to be around 25 feet in length. The dual mop and vacuum action of the CrossWave is pretty much a winner for cleaning hard floors. The warranty is 2 years. However, there are things to be mindful of. First, even though using the CrossWave is quick and easy, you will need to spend some time cleaning up the machine after each use. The brush roller, brush chamber, filter, and the float need to be rinsed and cleaned off to maintain optimal performance. The items will then need to be air dried. Second is the cost of the supplies. Purchasing the Bissell multi-surface floor cleaning formula will naturally increase the overall cost of ownership, especially if you plan to use the mop action often. The Bissell brand multi-surface floor cleaning formula may be more expensive compared to other off-the-shelf floor cleaning formulas. Competitor floor cleaning formulas may not be compatible with the CrossWave and may even void the warranty. So, just keep that in mind. Finally, another item to add to the cost of ownership is that the brush roller will also need to be replaced when it is worn out.

Assembly – Pieces are neatly packaged in the top of the box, making it easy to unpack and assemble. After snapping the handle in place and wrapping the cord up, it was all put together and ready to go. Storage – The box comes with a shallow pan shaped base that allows storage of the machine and the two brushes that are included. The two 8 oz. bottles of cleaning fluid that are included must be stored separately. Use – The instructions are very easy to use with both written and pictorial instructions. The quick start guide gives the details on setting up and operating the Crosswave as well as how to clean and maintain the unit. The user guide has very detailed directions for doing all the tasks and has a troubleshooting section just in case. We were able to get going in no time. Cleanup – Nothing that works to clean a floor is going to be completely hands-free to cleanup, and the Crosswave does require dealing with the dirty water! Bissell has make this as easy as possible, with handles where they are needed to make sure your hands stay out of contact whenever possible. The drying tray makes both the machine and roller drying simple and effective. I was surprised at how easy the machine was to cleanup and it is now drying so it will be ready the next time. Overall – We took a few days before we had a chance to use it, but when my wife began, one of our daughters also wanted a try. After they had worked on most of the floors, I had a go at the kitchen floor which we thought was pretty clean to begin with. I was amazed at how clean it got our old flooring. It was very nice to have a machine that actually cleaned this well and this easily. The Bissell Crosswave is a pretty amazing machine that does its job and does it well. It doesn’t do a lot of extra things, it doesn’t have a bunch of add-ons or attachments. It does clean floors and area rugs quickly and easily. After many vacuums and a very wide variety of mops, I am impressed that such a light and simple machine can do its job so well. It really looks like it is well made and will last years.

    Squeaky Clean Floors

My house has hardwood and tile floors throughout so I have struggled with various methods to effectively clean both surfaces. For lack of a better option I had settled on using Swiffer products. The Swiffer results were frankly an unacceptable solution. Swiffer is awkward to use and never thoroughly cleaned my floors adequately. I was hopeful that the Bissell CrossWave would prove to be more effective. Assembly was extremely simple as I referenced the instructions. I popped on the cleaning solution and was up and running in no time at all. I first used the CrossWave on my tile floors. Here I was concerned that the CrossWave would not adequately clean the grout lines and not leave excess liquid behind. I was quickly reassured as the CrossWave was very effective in vacuuming up the solution, leaving my tile only damp not soaked. The grout was also cleaned. The dirty water tank quickly filled with the evidence of just how bad a Swiffer was at cleaning my floors. Once the tile dried I was actually surprised how clean the floor looked. The cleaning solution also has a pleasant scent and isn't overwhelming. I next tried the CrossWave on my bamboo floors. I was by now somewhat a pro and all went extremely smoothly on this surface as well. On hardwood the floors actually seemed to be even more dry than the tile. I guess that makes sense since the tile is a porous surface and the hardwood is sealed. The house sure is cleaner. Cleanup was a breeze. I rinsed the brush and stored it and the CrossWave in its included storage and drying tray. Bissell thought of everything by including this storage solution for a wet device and brush. I can't say I experienced any disappointment with the CrossWave. Highly recommended.

This little machine is an absolute dream and makes floor cleaning a much less onerous task. First, the assembly is relatively easy and the directions are straightforward (a couple of the pics can be confusing until you really look at the machine then it all makes sense). Total unpacking and assembly time was less than 10 minutes, no tools required. I was anxious to see whether the Crosswave would live up to my expectations, so I immediately filled the tank and took off cleaning. The cord is long enough that I did not have to change receptacles during the entire cleaning session, which is an added perk. Much to my delight, I was able to go from my tiled kitchen floor directly to my hardwood floors and right up onto three area rugs. What normally would take 45 minutes or more and would require the use of a broom, dust pan, vacuum cleaner, mop and bucket, and microfiber wet mop (for the hardwood), took less than 15 minutes and not even a full tank of cleaning solution. The floors were dry in no time and they looked fantastic. Cleaning the machine took only a minute or two and I was shocked at the amount of dirt the machine picked up. I have repeated this process several times since that first day and have remained impressed with the capabilities of the Crosswave. No more mop buckets and no more wringing! My floors are squeaky clean, my rugs get lightly shampooed, and the cleaning solution leaves a fresh smell throughout the house. My only concern is the length of time it takes for the rollers to dry after use as I can see mold or mildew becoming a potential issue. It is a bit premature for me to reach any realistic conclusion on that concern. and hopefully it won't become a problem. I would suggest going ahead and picking up a bottle or two of cleaning solution ta have on hand as the sample bottles included won't last very long. And if you're as impressed with this machine as I am, you'll actually look for reasons to pull it out of the closet and put it to work!

This combines a mopping roller and vacuum in one step. Because it vacuums at the same time it mops and scrubs, hardwood floors end up slightly moist but not wet, so they dry up within minutes. The machine uses two removable containers: One for clean water + formula and other for dirty water, and a roller. All of these are very easy to remove and wash. Most of the pieces that come in contact with the floor and liquids are very simple to wash. The roller can be removed and washed or can be left on the unit, which comes with a pedestal than can hold some water so the roller can remain moist. While we vacuum the hardwood floors and small area rags regularly, the first time we used the CrossWave, it picked so much dirt the the water was solid brown, so this works a lot better than vacuuming alone. Area rugs take a bit more effort and this does a great job. The main difference is that it needs to use twice the amount of water on a rug than on hardwood. It comes with multi-surface and hardwood rollers. The main difference is that the multi-surface has soft bristles in addition to the cloth and the hardwood roller has a cloth surface (no bristles). The manual recommends a mixture of mostly water and a small amount of a cleaning formula, also sold by Bissell for the CRossWave models. The formulas are for either hardwood or multi-surface. Cleaning the machine is straightforward: Wash the dirty water container and occasionally wash the roller and cover. The pedestal holds two additional rollers that can be left drying. Overall, it's very simple to use, it's quick and simple to clean.

My old Bissell hard floor wet and dry cleaner and vacuum was great and still going and its several years old but you couldn't use to for carpet because the spin brushes would lock up. This one does great for quick cleanups on carpet and a house of tile- I have 5 yorkies that make occasional oopsies on the floors ,tile, carpet/rugs - yes I did a bedroom carpet lightly for a quick refresher , while It wont replace deep cleaning with a rug doctor its great for a quick clean up of spill or a small mess. On rug mode it puts out twice the amount of cleaner, and that is probably the only difference between rug and hard floor modes. It does not leave floors sopping wet, cleans close enough to the edge I thought, very light weight and easy to use controls on top of handle to easily change from hard floor to rug, easy to navigate and gets under edge of furniture and stuff , swivels nice , easy to clean and take out the roller that does have stiffer brushes in it so it does clean off dried on stuff. You can switch it to rug on hard surfaces and pass over several times to scrub a dried spot because it puts out more cleaner. Has a nice longer cord. Does not drip dirty water all over when you have to stop for awhile and leave it sit ( my old Bissell does). Front lights up when you are dispensing cleaner when holding trigger. Easy to remove and fill the large solution container and dirty container . If you get your floor too wet just don't hold the trigger and pass over several times and the machine sucks it up and also warm air comes out the back to dry the floor. No streaks like when I used a microfiber mop. Cant say enough good things , Im impressed and needed something very light weight. Bought the extra 4 year warranty for $40 - a good deal and best buy had the best price on what I found.

Pleasantly surprised! Amazing TV! We've usually only purchased Sony or Samsung TVs in the past, but I've been reading up on newer TVs a lot and this TCL brand has a lot of great qualities with happy customers and reviews, so we decided to give it a try for a second TV in case it wasn't all is cracked up to be. Much to our amazement, we seriously LOVE this TV! We're thinking of replacing the big living room TV with another TCL because we're very impressed! We are not easily impressed either. The picture quality is fabulously clear! We are sensitive to bright light at night, so we wanted to be able to dim it. We changed some factory settings and now it's perfect and we can easily change it from light to dark depending upon what time of day! We don't like certain motions that can make you a little dizzy with some TVs when watching something quick moving but this was great. We read bad reviews about their remote control, but we absolutely LOVE IT being simple because we only watch internet streaming movies (no cable or TV service), so this remote is perfectly simple and has everything we need! The app for a smartphone is genius because you can control your TV, you can plug in headphones, change the channel or lower the volume if your spouse has the remote and you don't want to get up to get it, and much more! Like I said, we're really enjoying this TV!

Crosswave better than Symphony Steam Cleaner

Overall, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Bissell Crosswave! With 1200 sq. feet of hard wood floors using the multi-floor solution and muliti-floor roller has been a real game changer and created a lasting shine after first use! I look forward to the possibility of an increased shine and clean after multiple uses! Love that I can vacuum & mop at the same time (a real time saver) and I can roll it from hardwood floor to kitchen laminate surface without stopping. Refilling the clean water solution and dumping and rinsing the dirty water solution had to be done multiple times... perhaps 6 for my 1200 sq feet... but totally worth it! The rinsing of parts at end of session was also easy. Yeah, the whole apartment plus cleanup took several hours but worth the effort. I bought, tried and returned the Bissel Symphony Steam Mop before getting the Crosswave and so glad I did. The Crosswave is very much the Next Gen technology for cleaning. The most significant shortcoming of the mop is that it doesn't clean that half inch or more from the bass board, oven edge, refrigerator edge, etc.!!! It's a HUGE disappointment. Lesser issues related to having to change the clean & dirty water chambers so often and the lack of scrubbing ability for the multi-surface roller on a dirty surface like my pebbled laminate kitchen floor.

Bissell Crosswave #17859 Our family lives in a large house with multiple surface areas including wood, tile, laminate and carpet/rugs. We own about 4-5 vacuum cleaners primarily targeting the different floor types including a Neato that cleans unattended. Since our baby arrived it has become a challenge to spend all the time switching vacuums trying to clean the different floor types. An all-in-one is something we needed. Packaging - The vacuum comes in a surprisingly compact package and is light enough. The packaging lists the various items included inside along with the cleaner. This includes a multi-surface brush, 8 oz multi-surface cleaner, 8 oz wood floor cleaner, wood floor brush and a parking tray. Cleaning - It vacuums and washes floors at the same time and has a button to switch between cleaning the hard floor area and any soft area rugs. The cable is long enough as well and does not need to be switched from wall to wall. There are two tanks that keep the cleaning solution and the dirty water separate and easy to clean. The brush roll is rated at 3500 rpm and it mops and picks up debris at the same time. We were surprised how dry it left the area even with the liquid cleaning and it does not leave any streaks. We do use essential oils in the house and add it to our water while cleaning. We do not have pets but looks like it would be very effective with pet hair as well. We are very impressed and pleased with this Multi-surface Vacuum cleaner.

I've had carpet shampooers in the past, but this is far superior to anything that I've used before. I pulled it out of the box, and was ready to clean the floors within a few minutes. There are only a few pieces to put together, and they do so very intuitively. Compared to most carpet cleaners, this is a very small appliance, making it good for smaller apartments (as I live in). Living in a small apartment, I've never wanted to have a mop to store for only occasional use. This little device, however, isn't a problem as it has multiple purposes. It also cleans tile floor much better than trying to scrub it with Lysol wipes or other such products. For the carpets, it cleans very well. I've used it on my entry-way, and it has removed some stubborn spots that I haven't been able to get out. Additionally, the amount of cleaning solution it uses is less than other carpet cleaners I've used, so the carpets dry faster (this is still highly dependent on how much cleaning solution you use). All in all, this is a great cleaning device for someone living in a smaller space. When you fill the cleaning solution container fully, you'll get about 600 square feet of cleaning, depending on how deep you want to clean. If you want to clean more than this, you'll need to leave yourself a path to a sink to clean it out and refill. However, if you just do a room at a time, or finish on your way out the door, everything should be clean/dry when you get home at the end of the day.

I was a little skeptical about using an all in one like this and was quite surprised at how easy and how well it worked. I have both hardwood floors and a couple of area rugs. I also have 2 cats that create their own carpets of fur all over the place. First I attacked the hardwood hallway from my front door into the living room. I sweep and vacuum it with a dustbuster every weekend but it had been quite a while since I had mopped. This was so easy to see how clean it became, I got mad at myself for not taking before and after pictures. Huge difference. My hardwood hallway leads to 2 joined, plush, area rugs that the cats are always playing and sleeping on and everyone that comes through walks on. They regularly get vacuumed but have never been really "cleaned". I could have built another cat from the hair the Bissell picked up and had enough left over for a cat Halloween costume that I could wear myself. Overall, very pleased with this. Was simple to set up, simple to mix the liquids. And simple to actually use. Cleanup was fast and easy. It even comes with a tray to leave it on to collect any leftover drips.

We have had several Bissell rug cleaners, from a huge tank on wheels that had to hook to a faucet, to a spot cleaner that sits in one spot. All have worked great at cleaning. The unit came disabled, but it took maybe a minute to assemble. There was one plastic piece that we couldn't deduce what it did, or where it went. A quick glance at the manual showed it was a holder / drying rack for the rollers, and it attached to the floor pan that the suit sits in when being stored. Overall, very easy to put together for usage. The product appears to be well built, but still light in weight. It comes with a power cord of about 25 feet, which seems plenty long. This upright version is as easy to use and clean as the spot cleaner, but allows for a much larger area to be cleaned. My wife was surprised at how simple it was to operate and clean up afterwards. We have only tried it on carpet, haven't tested on wood floors, yet. Will update if any issues discovered. We feel like this is a very good unit for cleaning carpets in a home, but not for commercial uses.

Bissell has done it again. At first, I was skeptical on how well this vacuum would truly get down to the nitty-gritty and deep clean hardwood floors, chicago brick, & tile (all found in my house). Let me tell you first-hand that after vacuuming all areas with my Dyson DC65 Animal + Allergy thoroughly;that the Bissell Crosswave (while using the appropriately included 3 different brush bars) picked up so much dirty water! (Great thing) I even re-tested it's raw deep-cleaning abilities the day after my maid came to clean. It still finds a way to clean all my hard floors so well. I've used all 3 included brush bars for each of their respective applications and all 3 have produced fantastic results. The floors feel so much cleaner now even after using a Dyson + Bona. Highly recommend the Bissell Crosswave to anyone with hard floors.

I'm 67 with two herniated disks so I have limited mobility and scrubbing floors is a challenge. This machine picks up dog kibble left by my messy eater, a Great Dane mix and 2 felines with dubious manners. It gets up fine cat hair. It scrubs caked on goo from dog slime and it left my floors the cleanest they have been in years. I've tried swifter, oh cedar, a robotic mop, getting down on my hands and knees the old fashioned way, and all involved sweeping and dust mopping first. Today I filled the tank, moved the feed and water bowls, the refuse canisters, and put this little gem to work. I vacuumed and washed in under 10 minutes, and I didn't need a pain pill for my back afterwards. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants very clean floors with the least amount of physical effort.

This is a combination of wet mop/ carpet cleaner and vaccum. The device is easy to assemble. There are three brushes included two multi surface and one for hardwood floors. A convenient tray is provided for holding the extra brushes and the damp Crosswave so you don't damage your floors after you are finished. This cleaning system is best used for hard surfaces or very low pile carpet. I have hardwood floors and this did an excellent job cleaning it. Keep in mind you do need to purchase cleaning solution for continued use (two small bottles, multi surface and hardwood cleaner) are supplied to get you started. The power cord is extra long so you can complete large rooms without replugging or extension cords. Overall this is easier than vacuuming then using a steam or regular mop.

This mop, vacuum is amazing. Its super easy to use and I like to empty the dirty tank out and fill the solution n water tank up after I use it on the whole house on the weekend and then it's ready to use during the week for accidents and small messes. I have a lot of hard wood and tile in my house and a toddler and 6 yr old that make a bunch of messes and it's great that I don't have to take out a mop n bucket everytime there is a small mess. All I have to do is plug in n run my Bissell and I'm done, no back breaking work ringing out my mop n making hot mop water. I didnt think it would but it has replaced my mop n vaccum.
