    Works GREAT

I recently used my BISSELL - CrossWave Pet Pro for the 1st time. All I can say is WOW, money well spent. This saved me the step of vacuuming / sweeping the floors first before use. One step and it did a GREAT job on my tile flooring as well as my Berber carpeting. The machine can be easily taken apart for cleaning. The multi-surface cleaning liquid that came with the unit smells great (fabreze scent in the mix). My husband had just vacuumed the floors yesterday and this machine sucked up more dog hair than the vacuum did, AMAZING. This weekend I will most certainly be using this on my hard wood floor in my living room.

The Bissell Crosswave is perfect for those who don't like to mop (me). I love that the Crosswave vacuums and mops at the same time, doing two jobs at once. Also, it cleans the floor and sucks up the dirty water instead of moving it around like a mop. I have only used it on tile so far but they are noticeably cleaner after use. It doesn't do a deep cleaning but it is as good as a mop and perfect for maintaining your floors. Beyond tile, it works with hard wood floors, laminate, and even area rugs! Clean up is a little involved; you run the Crosswave on its storage tray with water for a few seconds to clean the roller and intake, then you remove the waste tank, remove hair strainer, empty waste tank, rinse everything off and let air dry. Despite the steps involved, it is fairly easy and doesn't take more then 5 minutes. I wish the waste tank was slightly larger, but I imagine that would of added unwanted bulk to the lightweight design. I am really pleased with the Crosswave and recommend it to those not just with pets but anyone who is looking for a better way to clean their floors!

I've 2 dogs in the house, and sometimes they get into certain things or eat too much and end up throwing up around the house. I had a portable Bissell Pet Cleaner that worked fairly well but the act of getting down on my hands and knees was not ideal. Enter in the new Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro, and I believe I've found my ideal pet cleaning product. The Crosswave does a great job of cleaning, the brush is firm and is able to get into the carpet in a way that my old Bissell could not. The only thing I don't really like about the Cleaner is it doesn't do the best job of really sucking up all the moisture out of the carpet. I understand a little dampness left afterwards, but to me it leaves a lot and you can't really tell if its got it all or not. Cleanup is fairly simple and everything can be rinsed and laid out to dry for 24 hours. Adding the amount of liquid is fairly straightforward as theres a line for water and then the line to add the Soap so you cant get the mixture wrong! Theres 2 separate containers one for the soap and one for the residual thats sucked up through the vacuum. Theres a setting for carpet and wood floors. I've used this on stains around the house that proved to be tough in the past or areas with a lot of dirt and the Bissell does a great job of cleaning overall. The only thing I would change would be to add a button to do a boost of suction to make sure all the water is sucked out of the carpet. Other than that its a great unit and I recommend it!

All the components of this machine came well-packed in one box that has hand holds on either side of the box; that is important to me just to get it in the house. It literally took minutes to set up this Pet Crosswave, with a quick start guide and full owner manual included. I already have a Bissell Pet Vacuum cleaner and I do love the Tangle-free brush roll. On other machines I usually have to get out a scissor and cut the hair off the roller. So, the dog hair gets sucked up from the Tangle-free brush roll and it is not the nicest thing to have the pet hair with the dirty water in the canister. There are 2 small containers of floor cleaner included that have a flower fragrance. I was told by Bissell that this machine is not meant to clean carpet, but rather area rugs because it is not a deep cleaner. I did use this on several area rugs, though, and found that it did a good job cleaning and deodorizing. However, when you are done and it is time to clean up the dirty water bottle be prepared to see all sorts of hair and other yucky solids that the machine picked up. I used toilet paper to retrieve and clean out those solids before dumping the dirty water in the toilet. Clearly, I only want to put water into my sewer system without bulk solids so it is important to clean out canister as best as possible. Then you need to either dry these pieces or let them air dry. Pros-does a good job, easy to use, set up for a while with cleaning fluid and other components. Cons-no accessories for upholstery, etc. and ultimate clean up of dirty water bottle.

BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro All-in-One Multi-Surface Cleaner is a strong force of cleaning and vacuuming. I personally enjoyed the mop as it was intended picking up pet stains. There are many features that make this vacuum worth your time. First off the design is nice with purple and silver to complement the design all the way through its certainly good looking but also small enough to handle with you everywhere. There is a tank that's easy to fill and use with fresh water and the solution that comes with it that smells nice I might add. BISSELL CrossWave Pet Pro Vacuum and wash at the same time so it picks up things really fast. in fact, it makes the room spotless because the dog hair gets sucked up with the Tangle-free brush roll which Bissell is known for doing well with their pet products. it really does get the annoying pet hair up. It works on multiple surfaces which include sealed wood, Area rugs, Titles, and laminate so whatever floor you have this should work just fine, as I said before the vac is lightweight and enough to pick up and take with you where you need to go. The whole thing is easy to use and easy to clean Debris out of the tank. The last thing I want to talk about is the solution which smells wonderful. The smell kills pet smells very quickly and going with fabreeze was the best thing they could do. I cleaned corners with ease and got into spots I normally couldn't get in. I personally would recommend this to people with pets and those who want an all in one cleaning solution for pets. it's a great vac but I do feel like the cleaning solution might be costly in the long run the BISSELL - CrossWave Pet Pro All-in-One Multi-Surface Cleaner is a good vac that would keep your home clean and spotless with pets.

I'm going to be honest. At first, I didn't know how to use it. This is a wet vacuum, but I thought I could still use it as a dry vacuum. That was a failure. It didn't seem to be able to suck up anything! Then, I actually looked up how to use it. Now I love it. The Crosswave Pet Pro is able to clean far better than a dry vacuum could. It's very easy to assemble. Just make sure the handle clicks into the main body. Fill up the tank with water and cleaning solution which they include (there's lines that show where to fill up to). You prime the vacuum first by holding the trigger for the cleaning solution for 10 seconds. Then, you're ready to go vacuum. You hold the trigger as you go across the floor. Then, you release the trigger and go again to dry. Repeat as much as necessary. It really does clean very well on both carpet and hard surfaces. Cleaning the vacuum is very simple. There's a piece that separates out the gunk from the water so you don't have to put water in your trash can. Then, you can just clean each piece separately. I found that this was better than the cleaning method that they recommended which was filling the tray that the vacuum comes with and running the vacuum on it, but it didn't seem to do much. I love this vacuum. It's versatile. It can even clean spills! My only complaint is that it does seem to leave the area wet even after releasing the trigger, but it's a small price to pay. All in all, a good buy!

The Bissell CrossWave Pet Pro All-in-One Multi-Surface Cleaner is supposed to be all things for floor cleaning. A vacuum and washer for both hard floors and carpets. Like many devices that try to be an all in one,The Crosswave is not the best at all the functions but does do them relatively well. Will it vacuum as well as an dedicated vacuum or clean a carpet as well as a dedicated rug shampooer ? No. not even close. The vacuum is average at best and it is just not powerful enough to be a good carpet cleaner ( if you do not have strong suction you will not have a good carpet cleaner. @@@@@@@ It is at best, a spot vacuum and light spot carpet cleaner. However, what it does well is is clean hardwood floors. My house is pretty spotless and I regularly clean my floors. So I did not expect much and , frankly, did not see much happening at first. But upon closer inspection, I could see the waste water definitely dirty - it was cleaning dirt that I could not even see at first. To clean, I made two passes with everything active to clean and then one slow pass to with the solvent/water not engaged ( vacuum mode. @@@@@@@ The vacuum mode after washing the floor dries it nicely. There was minimal moistness on the floor after using the machine to dry. Now back to the the carpet cleaning function, I do not have pets and my carpets are very clean. So I did not have the opportunity to test it on anything heavily soiled. When I did test it, I found the cleaning to be mild and it left a bit too much of water/solvent on the carpet . In my opinion this was a direct reflection of the suction power and indicative of not being powerful enough to be a carpet cleaner. To be fair, Bissell promotes this a multi-surface cleaner and not a carpet cleaner but I could see how some may expect more in the that respect. Assembling the Crosswave is easy - simply slide in the handle and attach the water and solvent tank. It literally took under 60 seconds. The cord is relatively long but there is not much in the way of cord management. With the unit running and the trigger for the water and solvent engaged, the machine was quite loud. Manageable but definitely loud. The cleaner is very light weight and easy to maneuver. So the big question, will you like it? The answer is maybe. If you set the proper expectations that this is mainly for hardfloors with the occasional spot clean of a rug then yes. If you expect it to do a deep clean of carpets or if you have thick carpets then no. I do not think Bissell was designing the machine to the be the best of all worlds, it was designed to be multi surface cleaner and you have to give up some of the strengths of a dedicated machine for the respective function to do that. I am going to recommend the unit based on the good hardwood floor cleaning and if you need more of a carpet cleaner, look to the Bissell dedicated carpet cleaners.

Setup and Use 5/5 This product was so easy to setup and use. I didn't need instructions and was ready to go in around 5 minutes including the filling of the reservoir. A few clicks and presses and you are off to clean. It has a really long cord of 25ft so you can get busy and not be interrupted by plugging and unplugging. You just need to press the type of floor you are working on and squeeze the trigger. Build Quality 4/5 Built almost entirely of plastic, it feels like it will last a while. If you owned Bissell products in the past, you can expect the same as far as built quality. I only worry about the brush head cover if you hit it on a refrigerator or something metallic. Being plastic, I worry about cracking but only time will tell. The brush roll is made with two materials. It feels like a soft microfiber material for the bulk of the cleaning head with one row of a nylon scrub brush spiraled around the head. This thing is just amazing. I was worried about it leaving a lot of water, but the suction on this thing is very good. I didn't see any scratching which is a plus. Performance 4/5 I took away a point because it doesn't do as well on area rugs. The area rugs absorb a lot of solution before being ready to clean. It is NOT a carpet shampooer so don't buy this if that is what you are looking for. It works decent for "freshening up" tired area rugs. I used this on a low shag rug which is the type you find in doctor offices. It was difficult to clean with it because the area rug kept getting sucked up so I just gave up on it after a while. On hardwood and any other non-porous surface it works perfectly. I experienced dry times of anywhere between 5 and 8 minutes. It doesn't spray tons of cleaner which is why it is safe for porous materials too. It doesn't leave floors very wet and you always get clean water on the surface. I cannot say enough about how well this thing cleans. Suction on this machine is excellent so it leaves floors only damp not soaked. +Things I Like+ + Easy Setup - like I said earlier, I was up and running in less than 5 minutes. + Easy Cleanup - press the release button and flip the top on the tank and dump. Easily rinses and clean up in the tray is simple. + Long Cord - at 25ft, you have plenty of room to move around. + Large Area Cleaning - this solution reservoir seems to last forever. I cleaned my kitchen to test it and still had more than half left. I then cleaned a runner area rug that was the length of my counter and still have more than half. + Lightweight - my wife and I had no problems maneuvering this while cleaning. + Vacuum and Mop at once - You don't need to sweep or vacuum before using this, it saves you a step. -Things I Would Change- - Water Not Heated - if you are trying to clean, you would expect some sort of heating for the solution. You can put hot water in the reservoir but depending on how long you are cleaning, it may not maintain its temperature. - Different Brush Heads - I would like to see a brush made with only the microfiber and another one with scrub brushes. Maybe a squeegee head to dry floors quicker too. - Lack of Colors - I'm not a fan of the purple. I hope other options come soon. -=THE VERDICT=- The value and time savings you get with this, it is a MUST BUY! If you are tired of a mop and a bucket. BUY THIS! If you are a clean freak and want to easily clean your floors. BUY THIS. If you have hate sweeping before mopping. BUY THIS! I don't see myself going back to the old fashioned way of cleaning floors. BUY BUY BUY!
