For those purposes its great, it does an awesome job at doing some basic clean up of dirt and other messes as well. One drawback is that it doesn't "scrub" as hard as I would like it to, leading to needing several passes with it for long dried in messes.

This thing sucks up everything at once.. in one pass it is like sweeping and moping at the same.. I am incredibly satisfied with this purchase!!

I do have a few things I don't like about it though. It takes a bit of time to clean it afterwards and it doesn't get close to the wall like a mop can. I will keep it but probably use it along with my good old fashioned mop
