It surprisingly left a streak-free finish on ceramic tile using the Bissell brand cleaning fluid. It does an OK job of the grout. .

Best on Tile and Wood Floors

The Bissell works great on the hardwood floors, really makes a difference that is noticeable. It does work on the rugs, but puts a 'wet pet hair smell' into the air sometimes (if you are cleaning up pet hair matted into the rug). After we cleaned the unit itself, and then cleaned the rugs that we previously cleaned, there was less of that 'wet pet smell', but it requires cleaning the rugs every few days versus weekly or monthly.

PIECE OF JUNK - lots of bad parts in this thing

I went through all the troubleshooting with chat GPT and it became CLEAR that this thing is JUNK with all kinds of known issues . I had a Bissell floor cleaner years ago and it was JUNK too. I got this one after reading all kinds of glowing review . This does not SCRUB your floor and it doesnt do a good job overall. I would give this a minus 10 if I could
