Setup and Use 5/5 This product was so easy to setup and use. I didn't need instructions and was ready to go in around 5 minutes including the filling of the reservoir. A few clicks and presses and you are off to clean. It has a really long cord of 25ft so you can get busy and not be interrupted by plugging and unplugging. You just need to press the type of floor you are working on and squeeze the trigger. Build Quality 4/5 Built almost entirely of plastic, it feels like it will last a while. If you owned Bissell products in the past, you can expect the same as far as built quality. I only worry about the brush head cover if you hit it on a refrigerator or something metallic. Being plastic, I worry about cracking but only time will tell. The brush roll is made with two materials. It feels like a soft microfiber material for the bulk of the cleaning head with one row of a nylon scrub brush spiraled around the head. This thing is just amazing. I was worried about it leaving a lot of water, but the suction on this thing is very good. I didn't see any scratching which is a plus. Performance 4/5 I took away a point because it doesn't do as well on area rugs. The area rugs absorb a lot of solution before being ready to clean. It is NOT a carpet shampooer so don't buy this if that is what you are looking for. It works decent for "freshening up" tired area rugs. I used this on a low shag rug which is the type you find in doctor offices. It was difficult to clean with it because the area rug kept getting sucked up so I just gave up on it after a while. On hardwood and any other non-porous surface it works perfectly. I experienced dry times of anywhere between 5 and 8 minutes. It doesn't spray tons of cleaner which is why it is safe for porous materials too. It doesn't leave floors very wet and you always get clean water on the surface. I cannot say enough about how well this thing cleans. Suction on this machine is excellent so it leaves floors only damp not soaked. +Things I Like+ + Easy Setup - like I said earlier, I was up and running in less than 5 minutes. + Easy Cleanup - press the release button and flip the top on the tank and dump. Easily rinses and clean up in the tray is simple. + Long Cord - at 25ft, you have plenty of room to move around. + Large Area Cleaning - this solution reservoir seems to last forever. I cleaned my kitchen to test it and still had more than half left. I then cleaned a runner area rug that was the length of my counter and still have more than half. + Lightweight - my wife and I had no problems maneuvering this while cleaning. + Vacuum and Mop at once - You don't need to sweep or vacuum before using this, it saves you a step. -Things I Would Change- - Water Not Heated - if you are trying to clean, you would expect some sort of heating for the solution. You can put hot water in the reservoir but depending on how long you are cleaning, it may not maintain its temperature. - Different Brush Heads - I would like to see a brush made with only the microfiber and another one with scrub brushes. Maybe a squeegee head to dry floors quicker too. - Lack of Colors - I'm not a fan of the purple. I hope other options come soon. -=THE VERDICT=- The value and time savings you get with this, it is a MUST BUY! If you are tired of a mop and a bucket… BUY THIS! If you are a clean freak and want to easily clean your floors… BUY THIS. If you have hate sweeping before mopping… BUY THIS! I don't see myself going back to the old fashioned way of cleaning floors. BUY BUY BUY!

Ok first let me say that I have tried MANY floor cleaning products from steam mops to hard floor cleaners, roombas, dyson, you name it. I have a whole house of laminate and tile and 3 cats and a 100lb Labrador. I am always cleaning up something. Okay.... First things first. This mop/vac is awesome. I mean it. I read the reviews and was thinking ehh it's probably all hype and this thing is super pricey. I decided to try it and was fully expecting to return it if it was not worth the price. My house is mainly white tile with white grout and laminate. One of my pets is always puking. My cat actually puked some kind of brown hairball liquid all over the tile and it dried on. Normally I would have to soak it with cleaner, let it sit and then scrub it. I decided to try this machine on it. Shut the front door! This thing removed dried on cat puke and it removed it from the grout also! I didn't have to touch any of it. I was SOLD right there!! I used the area rug setting and made like 3-4 passes over the puke and it was all gone. Even the grout was clean. Amazing. Reminder: The puke was DRIED on. I also used it just for normal cleaning and it works so good. I had some serious hair on the floor and paw prints, etc. This got my floors clean with no streaks. You do have to go slower than you would with a vacuum but I think cutting out the extra steps equals it out. I had to fill it and empty it 3 times to do my whole floor area. I can tell this gets into the grout and cleans minor dirt. If you haven't cleaned your grout in 20 years I don't know what it will do. My grout is clean but an occasional smear or spill this mop will clean it. I use this strictly on the hard floors. I have some area rugs and I use my dyson on those. I have no interest in getting my rugs wet so this review is mainly just for hard floors. The pet version has a hair catcher in the dirty water cup. I believe that is the difference from the regular crosswave model. The catcher is helpful to me that I can throw the hair/ large debris in the trash and dump the dirty water in the sink. I'm glad I got this model. Overall to me this is worth the money. I fact that I can clean up pet vomit without touching it was the best part for me. And it actually works and does a good job. The cleaner is good and leaves my floors clean and without streaks. It has a light smell. I actually bought more I liked it so much. I would totally recommend this thing and I do not like to pay this much usually but you would have to pry it from my dead hands now!!! Great product!!!

I received this dual appliance as a gift and I am so impressed. It's easy to clean and the entire kitchen was able to get cleaned on a full tank. I'm not a decent sweeper so I always leave trash / fur behind and moping was a nightmare with the traditional mop and bucket. I had to refill mop bucket several times and the area would still look as if I done nothing. It made me just want to get rid of the furry pet kids. But now clean up was super easy. I never saw the floors look this clean since the vinyl was installed. I can even clean the rolling brushes due to that special tray feature Bissell included. All I had to do was put the gadget together which was just the handle, clean water jug and the filter and the dirty water container it only took about 3 mins and no tools needed. I filled the jug to the water line for large areas then I added the included cleaning solution to the solution fill line. Then I plugged it up and put my foot on the vac's head and tilted the handle back then pressed the bare floor button and squeezed the button under the handle for 10 secs then I started mopping and vacuuming the not so great swepted floor. I would remove my finger from the button underneath the handle at times just to give the water sprayer a break from spraying the floor and releasing that button also allows the machine to suck up the water from the water. I also had a fan blowing on the floor as I mopped and the floor wasn't even wet looking but it was extremely clean. Then when I was done I pkacesu the vac in it's tray and poured hot water into the tray's bucket holster and then I tilted the vac / mop back and pressed bare floor button and it started spinning while inside the cradle tray so it could clean the brush. I even pressed the button under the handle for 2 secs so it could release some solution into the tray then I let the button go & it sucked all the water up from the cradle. Then I turned it off and Cleaned everything else which was super easy. Pets watched the whole time they liked the clean floors too.

The CrossWave Pet Pro is one of those devices I wish I had this past winter. With the combination of snow, mud and a dog I constantly had little prints of mud in the house. My main floor is laminate wood so it usually required a quick sweep before breaking out the mop and bucket. Now I can just put some warm water and a little bit of the Bissle Multisurface Pet floor cleaning solution, in what looks like a sports bottle, and do all the cleaning in one. The Crosswave is super simple to put together when it comes out of the package. It comes with a spare brush and two sample bottles of cleaner that will get your through about 4 large area cleanings. The directions may feel a bit overwhelming when you notice all the details for cleaning, but it’s not much more than another other liquid based cleaning system. The main key to realize is that you never want to let anything wet and dirty sit around for long. The tray that it came with makes for an easy rinse of the brush and prevents the little drips of water that will eventually come down as it sits for a bit from settling on your floor. The packaging shows the multi-surface as sealed wood, area rugs, tile and laminate. Rugs are meant as area rugs and not carpet. However, I have used it to clean some low pile carpet without issue. It’s just a little hard to push if the carpet is any thicker and it’s not designed to be a carpet cleaner. My basement is mostly standard tile and was a bit painful as it caught several of the tile edges. You just have to take it easy in hopes not to break something. This has essentially replaced my mop and broom and made cleaning a lot easier. I prefer a wet cleaning system as it helps pick up dirt and dust instead of stirring it up like a dry vacuum or broom. The more it is used, the cleaner the waste water is beginning to look, telling me that my house is starting to stay a whole lot cleaner.

This is my second CrossWave, first Pet Pro version. My first CrossWave lasted two days short of the two year warranty period. It is in the repair shop ready for pickup. I could NOT be without it for the 2-3 week repair time because I use the CrossWave at least 3 times a day to clean up tile floors from "liquid" spills and paw tracks from my four dogs. I also use it to clean hardwood floors once a week, and spot clean soiled areas on carpet. In short I use the heck out of my CrossWave! Just the thought of having to go back to using a old fashion mop and bucket make me nauseous and my back to ache. For those interested, the difference between the regular Crosswave and the more expensive Pet Pro version are as follows: color, longer 3-year warranty, supplied with tangle free cleaning roller (available for separate purchase for either model), and the lift out strainer in the Pet Pro version. I would recommend that anyone buying the Crosswave buy the Pet Pro version if they have animals that shed, or floors to clean in bathroom areas where we humans tend to shed. The removable strainer basket catches most of the hair that gets vacuumed up and is easy to lift out of the recovery tank and wipe the hair off of as compared to wiping the hair off of the inside of the recovery tank in the regular CrossWave model without the strainer. Before discovering the CrossWave, I purchased 3 of the less expensive Hoover "Floormate" tile and hardwood floor cleaners that all lasted about one year under my heavy use and did not do quite as good a job at cleaning the floors as the CrossWaves do. The Crosswave will allow you to always have clean shiny tile and hardwood floors. Just buy it!

When I received our Bissell CrossWave Pet Pro All-in-One Multi-Surface [floor] Cleaner for evaluation, I turned that task over to the woman who helps keep our home in tip top shape. Our hardwood floors had been giving her difficulty lately and when this product was offered on Best Buy's Tech Insider Network she thought I should request it. When it arrived the unpacking was simple and easy to open. As we removed the Bissell CrosWave from the box I immediately wondered about its long-term durability. It didn't have the heft I thought a floor cleaner should probably have. Of course, being lightweight isn't neccessarily a bad thing when it comes to floor cleaning devices. Assembly was straightforward and basically easy. Assembly instructions weren't really needed. She has used this Bissell CrosWave twice so far, cleaning about 1,200 sq ft of maple hardwood floor each time. Here are her thoughts in a pro/con format. PRO Seems to use a sufficiently good amount of water for cleaning. Isn't hard to push or pull which is important to her being in her first trimester. She said it smells clean. Does an excellent job on rugs, especially the runner in front of our kitchen sink which suffers all manner of insult and grunge. She said it picks up pet hair really well. Which says a lot because we have 3 cats and 2 dogs. She also noted that the pet hair doesn't get caught in the roller. That's an engineering feat in itself. Does a great job on tough spots without requiring you to spend a lot of time on one spot. Rinse and storage tray is a good idea. After use disassembly for cleaning and re-assembly was easy. CON She had one con to mention, but it wasn't sufficient to downgrade a rating. When stopping the machine to go from one area to the next, the Bissell CrossWave leaves a dirty water puddle on the floor. She ended up carrying a rag around to wipe up the puddles. We know it comes from the roller and that's what the storage tray is for. But who wants to carry that tray around while they're using the machine? Overall, we were impressed. The first cleaning of our hardwood floors produced pretty dirty rinse water and the floors were noticeably cleaner afterwards. The second use, a week later, didn't produce nearly as dirty water as the first. Yet, the floors still look even better. So I, or we actually, can definitely recommend to others.

I have three indoor cats, so I'm constantly looking for the 'next best' tool to help me clean up after them since my house has carpet, tile, hardwood, marble, and area rugs. This Bissell multi-surface cleaner is great; it's basically a vacuum, mop, and carpet cleaner all in one. The product is fairly light weight and maneuverable so it's easy to use. Assembly is quick, and after checking the manual (or watching a few videos), you should be cleaning in no time. The machine really does a great job of cleaning every floor in my house. The hardwood, tile and marble look freshly mopped after each use, and the carpets are hair free. Occasionally one of the cats will eat too fast and throw up, most of the time on carpet. Before getting this product, the process was to remove the majority of the vomit with a paper towel, then spray the area with a spot cleaner, scrub it with a cloth or sponge, and then vacuum the area. Now, I just clean up the majority with a paper towel and whip out this product; it's a huge time saver. The only issue I have is that it doesn't clean near the edge of walls very well, but that's not a very big con. Cleaning the machine is fairly simple as well, and I really like that it has it's own storage tray so it's not just sitting on the floor. Overall I really like this product. It's light weight, cleans like crazy and saves a ton of time. I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you have pets.

We recently lost our 2 Corgis of 14 years, and got 2 new puppies. Well as most of you know most puppies dont come house trained. So with our new full blood corgi, and half chihuahua half corgi this was the case. Our house was starting to stink due to this, so we needed something for all the floors and this fits the bill. They cant seem to decide on the carpet or the kitchen to make their messes while they are trained, so having one that can clean both is a must. And despite it saying its for area rugs it works great on carpet as well. In the box you get the multi surface cleaner, cleaning solution with febreze, 2 brushes, a rinse tray, and the manual. The initial set up isnt hard at all. Just assemble the handle, add the amount of warm water based on the area to be cleaned, mix in the cleaning formula, install the water tank and go. When done clean up takes awhile, but isnt very hard. The brushes remove easily so you can rinse out the tray, tank, brushes, etc. and youll be ready next time. And it works great. I really like that you do not need to vacuum first, you can just run the Bissell and it will wash and vacuum the floor. The cleaner is also lightweight, and able to get into corners, etc. The cable is plenty long (25') for most areas. With the added febreze it helps with the odors associated with pets as well. Despite the included cleaner only being 8oz it lasts a long time, and doesnt require a lot. And of course you can always buy more for like $11 or so. Overall this is a must for those of use with pets, especially those currently in “training”. Easy to use, works great, removes odors, and the cleaner lasts a long time. Great way to maintain clean floors as a pet owner.

I wasn’t sure exactly what this product could do. What I found is it fits perfectly between my steam cleaner and carpet shampooer. You don’t have to vacuum before using as I do with the steam cleaner nor do I need to worry about damaging my area rugs (small or large) as I do with the shampooer. Overall this is a well thought out product but I would expect nothing less from Bissell. I am really impressed with it and would recommend. It is nicely packaged and comes with 2 brush rollers, 2 small bottles of cleaner, a rinse/storage tray that cleaner sits in, drying/rinse tray for the brush rollers and a rinse cup. Positives; Very easy to put together – was ready to use in 5 minutes. Has separate hard floor and area rug cleaning modes, easily selected on the handle. Very comfortable to use and unit is nicely weighted. Very well designed for access/cleaning; Easily accessed clean water/solution tank with easy to read solution/water mix markings. Has large or small area markings for mixing. Easy to use/clean dirty water tank. Cleaning head is easily taken apart to access/clean brush roller and wipe out accumulated “gunk”. Its kind of unique too as it consists of soft “cloth” and little soft plastic “nubbies”. To use cleaning solution, you press and hold a trigger button. This also turns the lights on cleaning head. To me it has pretty powerful suction that left areas clean and got most of the water Getting out spots etc. from tile. I don’t have any wood floors but I did use on light colored tile as well as and darker wood resemblance tile. with no streaking. I used the large area mixing and was able to clean about 500 to 600 sq feet of tile and a couple of area rugs. This used up one of the bottles of solution supplied with unit. Very easy to maneuver but on our thick area rugs it was a little hard to push around. 3 year warranty Negatives: The only issue I have is you cant lay handle flat so cannot get completely under beds, dressers, etc.

I've got several different Bissell vacuums that I really like, and so far, this one is no exception. We have a lot of indoor cats, but also live out in the country with horses so we're always tracking dirt into our utility room and kitchen area. We frequently vacuum these areas, but just don't take the time to mop very often. I think this vacuum will solve that problem. Here are some things I like about this vacuum: - It was a little quieter than I expected after reading some other reviews - I found the power cord to be plenty long to use conveniently - There's a handy clip on the handle to help keep the power cord up out of the way while using it - The handle was comfortable and I liked having the on/off switches right there on the handle - The wheels rolled quietly over my tile floor; some other vacuums have harder plastic wheels that make a clattering sound that annoys me - I found it to be maneuverable and could easily get under the cabinet toe kick space - It came with a spare roller and also cleaning solution - It was easy to clean all the parts after using it - The storage tray that the whole vacuum sits in works well to contain any moisture while it's air drying; it also worked well for flushing/rinsing the vacuum after use, per the instructions There really wasn't anything that caught my attention as something I didn't like about this vacuum. After using it, I'd say the floor was about as clean as if I'd gone over the whole thing using a cloth or paper towels. It probably doesn't loosen stuck on dirt as well as using a scrub brush, but for the normal dirt/mud we track in I think it'll work great. It'll be a great way to quickly (and more frequently) give a thorough cleaning of our tiled areas. Another great Bissell product!

One-Pass Cleaning for Floors and Rugs!

We have tile and hardwood flooring throughout the house, with throw rugs scattered here and there. And we have two dogs who, in addition to blanketing the house in fur, insist on bringing the yard back inside with them. Cleaning used to mean vacuuming the whole house to get up the fur and loose dirt, then mopping or steam cleaning the floors and spot cleaning the rugs. For us, all that changed with the Crosswave Pet Pro! One pass cleaning! It really is a vacuum and a scrubber in one. We just go over the floor like we're vacuuming. The cleaning solution is dispensed by holding the trigger while you vacuum, and it's sucked back into a separate dirty water container. And it is dirty! We were amazed at how much gunk it got off the tile floors. We also tried it on the rugs; as a dry vacuum it worked well, but it really shined as a rug shampoo, using the wet clean option. Setup was a breeze. It literally took us longer to get it out of the box than it did to get it clicked together to use. The instructions are clear and concise. The minuses are pretty minor. - It's a touch slower than just vacuuming because it doesn't have the storage capacity our vacuum has; you have to empty it more, and of course, refill the cleaner every couple of rooms. We'll probably continue to use a vacuum for the light traffic areas and use the Bissell for the heavier traffic areas. - The cleaning procedure (recommended after each use) is a little involved. We found it easier to just pull out the tanks and roller and rinse them out in the sink. If you have a critter around the house, the Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro really is a must buy. Not only is it an effective cleaner, it is a real time saver. We were very happily surprised at how well it worked.

Buy the best buy additional warranty . I had the regular crosswave and after a years and a half it quit working, luckily i had bought the best buy additional warranty in which I returned it to best buy and they told me to go get a new one off shelf and I upgraded to the pet pro which was $50 higher in price. If i had just went with the original manufacturer warranty i would of had to take it to a repair shop. I don't see much difference in them. I do like it came with 2 brush rolls. I did get $27 credit back on my original warranty which went on the purchase price and bought the additional warranty for the new crosswave. I do love the crosswave and it is easy to clean and you can use it for small rooms full of carpet or rugs for light surface cleaning- its not a rug DR but cleans surface up and carpets look and smell clean. You may need to take a rag around the edges if soiled it doesn't edge clean about an inch or so out so well. I think its a great machine and do not regret my purchase. I have a dyson and a rug DR because I have 6 small dogs in the house , rarely do I need to take them out anymore but do on occasion for deep cleaning. This saves me a lot of time because it vacuums and can shampoo at same time. I use just any cleaner such as Lysol multi surface cleaner in the water tank and it cleans everything real well so that's a better buy than the official multi surface Bissell formula and have had no problems.

I'm going to be honest. At first, I didn't know how to use it. This is a wet vacuum, but I thought I could still use it as a dry vacuum. That was a failure. It didn't seem to be able to suck up anything! Then, I actually looked up how to use it. Now I love it. The Crosswave Pet Pro is able to clean far better than a dry vacuum could. It's very easy to assemble. Just make sure the handle clicks into the main body. Fill up the tank with water and cleaning solution which they include (there's lines that show where to fill up to). You prime the vacuum first by holding the trigger for the cleaning solution for 10 seconds. Then, you're ready to go vacuum. You hold the trigger as you go across the floor. Then, you release the trigger and go again to dry. Repeat as much as necessary. It really does clean very well on both carpet and hard surfaces. Cleaning the vacuum is very simple. There's a piece that separates out the gunk from the water so you don't have to put water in your trash can. Then, you can just clean each piece separately. I found that this was better than the cleaning method that they recommended which was filling the tray that the vacuum comes with and running the vacuum on it, but it didn't seem to do much. I love this vacuum. It's versatile. It can even clean spills! My only complaint is that it does seem to leave the area wet even after releasing the trigger, but it's a small price to pay. All in all, a good buy!

The Crosswave has good suction when passing over the wet areas without pressing the trigger, it would suck up the left over water and you can see the difference between the second pass over without pressing the trigger. This Crosswave is very easy to assemble/disassemble, parts snap in and out easily. The unit includes some extras, like 2 Shampoos, 1 stand base, (very usefull so it can keep it clean the area), 1 extra roller brush, and 1 Shapoo repository cup, that attached to the base. The quick guide start guide was easy to follow to assemble the Crosswave. The handle and button placement – allows for single hand button pushing to switch from area rug and bare floor. The trigger for water dispense is also nice location that they put at your fingertips. Easy to maneuver with the swivel head it’s a nice feature for cornering and moving around especially if you are using a full tank of water. Wet vacuum is a nice feature to have the ability to vacuum and mop in same appliance. The two in one appliance is handy being able to vacuum and mop in one pass makes things easier. Changing the filter and roller is an easy procedure since the locations are easy to get to. With this appliance you are able to quickly clean up wet spills on the floors with ease. Just pass over with the Crosswave and it can be cleaned in minutes. I am very pleased with the performance of the Crosswave vacuum/mop.

Vacuum cleaner: I have a 1800 sqft house. First floor and basement is completely laminate. Needless to say, cleaning the floors is one heck of a chore. I've used Hoover Floormate since moving here and I thought that had been a lifesaver, until this came. The foyer area has very high traffic. I wash the floor with Floormate. Then today i used this to see what the difference would be. I stopped partway in to cleaning it to see what was happening. I was amazed!! This machine literally blows the Floormate out of the water. Not only does it do the job and do it well, but it's very easy to use. It's a lot lighter and does a much better job and is easier to maneuver. It's a definite must for anyone who has a lot of square footage with solid surface floors. We haven't had it long so I can't comment on its durability but if issues do come up, I'll update my review. Packaging was simple, No excessive packaging, enough to keep it safe. It took me five minutes to unbox, assemble and get to work. Very easy to setup, happy to see that it comes with two brushes and cleaning liquids. It's a simple, yet highly effective hard floor cleaner. It seems sturdy, yet is compact and light, and it comes with its own plastic tray to sit in with an attachment where the roller can also air out to dry.

This is my first foray into vacuum + cleaners, and let me tell you, I was impressed. Its very lightweight so its easy to work with, the cord was super long, which surprised me so I didn't have to change plugs a lot of times. I tried using it first on hard floor and it cleaned and sucked water fast, it only left the surface a little damp, like after you are done moping. Then I tried it on my carpet and it worked great and left a nice fresh odor. My cat doesn't make a mess so I couldn't try how it would work in an area after a pet has urinated or worst, but in areas where there was a lot of hairs, it worked great and didn't get entangled. Where I did have trouble was on an area carpet I have on my living room (a square thicker carpet on top of regular carpet), didn't work good because the carpet soaked too much, I guess its just for regular carpet, so be careful. Other than that, it was great and it comes with 2 bottles of pet formula and 2 brushes, so there should be plenty for a while. I looked around and replacements are easily available. I would highly recommend it to anyone with pets and even though, if they don't, it would still clean nicely your carpet and hard floors!!

I received this to review. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. Cleaning up with 4 animals that shed and go in and out of the house tracking in dirt is no easy task. This mutlisurface cleaner was easy to setup and use. Maybe 10 mins of setup. Most of my home is laminate so this seemed like a good product for my house just from reading what its use is for. I thankfully was correct. I had mopped and swept the floor before I used this cleaner as I wasn't sure how good it would work. It found dirt and hair that apparently the broom and mop left behind. Now I will probably still sweep first as 4 animals shed an awful lot. Once you finish using it cleanup is incredibly easy. They designed this with little thought on our part to clean the floors and the cleaner itself. I definitely recommend cleaning it every time. I'm glad I came across this machine it has made my house so much cleaner.its worth the money in my opinion. I am including a picture of the dirt and hair I thought I had already cleaned before I used it.

We have 2 dogs that love to run around and get as dirty as they can. It's a constant struggle keep the wood floors clean, especially with all the rainy weather we've had this year. We bought the Bissell CrossWave several months ago, and it has made our lives much easier. Instead of pulling out the mop bucket or the expensive Swiffer (those pads are NOT cheap), we grab our CrossWave, clean the floors in about 2-3 minutes max, and are back to business as normal. We have only use the area rug cleaning twice so far. It is NOT like a steam cleaner quality clean, but it is perfectly fine for cleaning something like a newly created muddy paw print from one of our rugs. The price is a bit steep, but if you look at the long-term price when comparing this to having to pay $10 per box of Swiffer pads (1 box per week * 52 weeks = $520), this really is not that bad of a deal at all.

I have a cat and an elderly dog in the house and accidents happen. Unfortunately, they happen on carpet often. The CrossWave has made it easier to clean the mess, but there is still some prep work you need to do. For example, if your pet makes a mess you need to clean up as much as you can before running the CrossWave over it or else you will just end up smearing it everywhere. I have found that I need to run the CrossWave patiently over the area I want cleaned to lift out the odors. This takes a lot of patience, but beats manually scrubbing carpet! The instructions to clean the unit afterwards were straight forward, and a hard plastic stand/tray is provided to assist in cleaning the CrossWave and to store it. Pros: Lifts debris and agitates carpet at the same time Saves my back when dealing with carpet clean up easy maintenance Cons: It takes a lot of cleaning solution to remove odors from pets.

The BISSELL - CrossWave cleaner makes cleaning my home so much easier. As a dog owner, it is a pain cleaning up after my dog. Whenever I let him in my house, he leaves so much hair behind and paw prints everywhere. The BISSELL - CrossWave cleaner has made the cleaning task so much easier. I love the fact that I can spray the cleaning solution with the push of a button. It is lightweight, has a long cord, and is really simple to setup. The soap dispenser is clearly labeled to get the right mixture every time. I really like the fact that it comes with all the needed accessories to get to work right away. It came with two cleaning solution bottles, an extra roller, a large drip trey to rest the actual machine, and a smaller drip trey for the rollers themselves. Really well thought out. I would highly recommend the BISSELL - CrossWave Multi-Surface cleaner.
