Two years ago, we rescued a 5 year old beagle, Pixie. We already had one dog, who seeemed to potty train himself lol and not a shedder. it never crossed my mind to ask if she was potty trained or shedded. Come to be my poor Pixie was actually 9 with arthidus who looked right at me while she would pee on the floor near the open back door. After obsessing for over a year to have a home that was fur and urine free.. the one obsticle is the carpet on the stairs that needed to stay for Pixie and was not looking to replace and be in the same boat. I tired attachment tools, wet/dry vacuums, pet stain eraser and a spotcleaner. Nothing did the job. Even having the carpets professionally cleaned every 3 months. Living in the "Sandhills", hardwood flooring with area rugs, vacuuming, mopping and dusting daily still the stairs are a problem. . THAN I saw the Lightweight JetScrub, I expected a lot more, the videos made it look so easy. I used it for the first time tonight. Its still bulky for an American home that does not have an open and airy staircase. I wish it was lighter with a smaller head. I have to clean the right side of the stairs from top to bottom and the left going back up. The cord is super heavy and thick, I was suprised how short it was . THEN.. all the negative Nancy thoughts went away....I was extremely grossed out and excited at the same time. The job was getting done. better than the company that came to clean the carpets in november twice. I started seeing all the dirt, sand and fur being suckedup with a strong urine smell that went away. The pictures posted are taken after. Tomorrow I can see the result after its fully dry and vacuum. I will keep the JetScrub for weekly express cleaning for the stairs and along the walls and narrow spaces. ... I am content! 350
