Super Dooper Vacapooper!

This little vacapoo is better than I hoped for. It really performed small miracles on the stairs in both my apartment and also through several apt. buildings that I maintain. I needed something more than the smaller spot cleaner but not the commercial-grade shampooer I use for entire offices and rooms. This machine was light and it's the perfect width for stairs. Why 4 stars? My only gripes are these: The tank that collects the dirtied water also collects suds, which is to be expected, but sometimes the suds seem to register as if denser.. like water.. which in turn causes the machine to stop full function until you empty it. It's easy to empty! It's just not ideal to have to stop and empty it so often when it's really not full of liquid. Lastly, the roller brush only starts a'rollin' when the body of the machine is tilted back. Normally this is a non-issue but for stairs, which is what this vacapooer specifically is made for, it's not conducive to it's own task. When you tilt it back you reach the wall with the handle and the base has barely made it halfway across the stair. Sure, you can turn it and then push and pull it that way for the rest of the stair... but I wanted to be able to keep it at 90° and pull it across that way. Y'know? Anyway! It's really a good machine for it's price and size! Highly recommend.

Great Light-Weight Carpet Cleaner Pets or Not

When I received the Bissell Jetscrub Pet 2529 Series lightweight carpet cleaner, the first thing I noticed was how light the box was for a carpet cleaner.
After opening the box, the next thing I found, was how simple it was to assemble the machine and to get it running. The provided instructions are simple and make it simple to know what you are to do. The handle is really the only thing to assemble to the machine and it snaps on easily - just make sure to put enough pressure on it to ensure that the plug engages completely, or you will end up with intermittent power to the machine (I made this mistake).
Once the handle is on, you can fill the clean water tank to the appropriate lines with water and cleaning solution (see picture). Once filled, the carpet cleaner is ready to go.
Though this machine is advertised for usage on pet problems and the sample bottle of cleaning solution is specified for cleaning pet urine, I used it on a very stained carpet downstairs, where shrimp cocktail sauce had been spilt and never cleaned up properly by hand. I followed the instructions and pre-treated the stains with Bissell Stain Pretreat and let stand for 10 minutes.
Then I used the Jetscrub on the stains and the surrounding area, by spraying with the Cleanshot using the Solution Spray Trigger. It did a marvelous job lifting the stains and noticeably cleaning a carpet that I didn't think was so dirty. It was so easy, that I cleaned more than I originally intended. The only issue was that the clean water tank is not huge, so it will need multiple refills for large areas.
I will be purchasing more carpet cleaning solution and plan to tackle my carpeted basement stairs next.
The Bissell Bissell Jetscrub Pet 2529 Series lightweight carpet cleaner is well built, easy to use and does the job well! I would suggest this to anyone.

Perfect for regular upkeep

The simplicity of an upright with the ability to wash your carpets on a regular basis. I wouldn’t say this is a replacement for something like a heavier deep clean machine, but this will certainly make it so you won’t need to do a deep clean as often, if ever so long as you stay on top of it.
I have various carpet styles in my house and have lived here for almost 2 years without doing a carpet shampoo. I have done some smaller spot cleaning, but nothing full room clean. So, I didn’t expect this to deep clean as it is listed as “perfect for cleaning rugs and smaller carpeted areas.” However, on the shortest of carpet, it did a surprising job in getting up the stains and renewing its color. The next length up didn’t quite get the deep stains, but certainly cleaned as noticed in the disgusting water that was dumped out. The thicker, more typical carpet style, definitely gave it a refresh, but I didn’t notice any real stain removal. I have cleaned them three times now, and there is no doubt the carpet looks better, but some stains just won’t go away. Now, I wouldn’t say that is a bad thing, because these stains have been there a while and I feel, had I had this JetScrub when they occurred, they may not have been as lasting.
It states it is for small carpeted areas mainly because you will have to fill and empty the device multiple times and it never seemed to be at the same time. I always had to empty the machine before I had to refill the solution. But, it is as simple as dumping out a typical vacuum container and filling what is like a large sports bottle with hot water and an ounce of solution by following the lines on the bottle. When done, the rinse storage tray allows you to easily rinse the brush and nozzle, but still required a little extra cleaning on disassembly. The base holds the machine, the brush and the nozzle for air dry without leaving stains on your floor. However, I feel they should have made some sort of place to store the dirty water tank in an open position. Like a hook on the side of the machine or something. Just so it is easy to hang it to dry open because you don’t want to leave a damp dirty tank sealed in the machine.
As mentioned, this is perfect for maintaining your rugs and carpets and cleaning fresh stains. It is really noticeable how much it is cleaning up and even better after you have done multiple cleanings over time and notice the dirty water isn’t looking so disgusting. The brush was clearly picking up pet hair, but tended to leave it on the carpet in clumps. The clumps were easy enough to pick up, but would have been better if it could have sucked them up with the water. The directions for deep clean say 1 pass forward and 1 pass back with spray then without, but found that doing 2 passes without still managed to pull a little more water back up. As you use it more, you can tell what works best for you. Would be great if it was a little easier to use on stairs with an attachment.
Overall, a great machine for keeping your carpets fresh and clean on a regular basis.

This works ok. However, you MUST clean the nozzle, brush, and brush housing very often or else it just spreads dirt instead of cleans.
See the photos. I started a "deep clean" of the carpet in the first photo from right to left. You can see how much darker the carpet gets as I go to the left. Then you see the very clean pass after cleaning the brush and nozzle on left of the second picture.
I had to re-clean all this area by cleaning the nozzle and brush after every other pass. Time consuming and annoying!!!
The entire area of these two pictures is only 37 square feet. The machine is 8" wide. That is only ten 5-foot passes.
Upside: Cleaning these parts is easy to do, which is why I give a 4 for quality. It is just annoying that you must remove the nozzle and brush, run water over them in a sink, and scoop up the rest of the muck inside the brush housing . . . after only two passes!!!

We recently added a little pup to our family during the quarantine this past summer, and while trying to potty train our little guy, we knew we needed to start looking for a great carpet cleaner. This one is super easy to use, and light to carry from room to room.
This cleaner is easy to use; adding the hot water and cleaning formula is straight forward. The clean water container was enough for us to thoroughly clean our large living room. I then refilled the clean water container with more hot water and formula and was able to do some spot cleaning in the rest of the house. The cleaner is light enough that carrying it from room to room is a non-issue.
This cleaner is strong. We routinely have had our carpet professionally cleaned, and some areas that they were not able to clean up, this took care of without a problem. I have 3 sons and now the addition of our little Shih Tzu, we know we needed a good carpet cleaner. This has handled any mess my family has made.
I could easily recommend this to anyone looking to either do routine carpet cleaning, or to spot clean messes. It has handled any stain/mess my sons or pup have made, and it is light enough to carry around the house no matter where the mess is. This little cleaner has managed to make our carpets look cleaner than when we had them professionally cleaned.

I Love This Bissell Cleaner

I received the BISSELL® JetScrub™ Pet Lightweight Upright Carpet Cleaner, Series 2529, in sparkle silver and disco teal and it was easy peasy to put together and get into action. The contents in the box included the actual machine made up of the body and the handle, a rinse and storage tray with a cup, a carpet nozzle clean out tool, and a sample-size of Pet Pro OXY Urine eliminator solution. The machine that I received only had a carpet brush roll and nozzle, although Bissell also makes a hard wood floor brush roll & nozzle, too. So, that may be able to be bought as an additional accessory. So, my experience is limited to only carpet and it did very well, in fact.
This machine has some nice features such as the quick-release cord wrap which means that when you turn this hook from side to side the cord that is wrapped between the upper and lower cord wrap easily releases. Next, on the upper handle are 3 buttons for Smart Clean fingertip control- express clean, deep clean, and clean shot with the solution spray trigger on the underside of the handle.
This is a nice, streamline version of a much bigger Bissell that I bought years ago, however, I find it is so much easier to maneuver and operate and it sucks up the water and cleaning formula very efficiently in addition to scrubbing, cleaning, and removing the excess water and solution better. As previously mentioned, the clean shot is a press and hold button located on the upper handle and is used for specific stains so you would maneuver the machine to cover a select stain.
Additionally, there is a button on the body that either will allow you to extend or retract the handle. Why is this significant? It is significant because in order to use this machine on the treads of your steps, you would retract the handle and hold the machine by placing one hand on the carry handle located under the dirty water tank and one on the upper handle of the machine and hold the spray trigger, making 1 pass forward and then release the spray trigger and make 1 pass back.
Finally, I think this is a very good, carpet-scrubbing machine and it is lightweight and easy to maneuver while giving very good cleaning results. Oh, by the way, Bissell included a 50% off coupon, including free shipping, on a 1st order of Bissell Pet Pro Deep Cleaning Kit #B0092 which has 3 products Boost additive, Stain Pre Treat Sprayer, and a full size of the Pet Pro solution. My coupon is valid until July 31, 2021.Finally, well worth the money, in my opinion.

If you’re looking for a product that can clean your carpets that’s also not bulky, this is a perfect product.
This carpet cleaner is essentially the same size as your average vacuum. It includes the vacuum, base, a sample formula, and the vacuum.
This product is really easy to use. You simply fill the formula tank with warm water and formula, there are lines on the back tank to show you how much formula to include.
I’ve used this on both my carpets and area rug.
I first used this on my area rug to lift stains. It lifted heavy stains from wine to tea. My stains completely lifted.
I also used this on areas of my carpet I know had been affected by cat pee with my cats peeing out of the litter box. This solution also helped the smell of my carpets and reduced the smell from cat urine.
Overall, this will get your stains out and well.

The Best Carpet Cleaner I Have Ever Used.

I have two dogs and carpets in my house, which are two things that don't mix well, so I am no stranger to pet stains. To combat these stains I had to purchase multiple carpet cleaners throughout the years. For the most part, my previous carpet cleaners have all been large, heavy and extremely difficult to clean. This week I was lucky enough to test the Bissell Jetscrub Pet carpet cleaner and this is nothing like the carpet cleaners I used in the past.
When I took this carpet cleaner out the box I was first impressed at the simplicity of setup. All I had to do was snap the handle in place and throw away the box. Another thing that impressed me was the well thought out design of all the components. It has a collapsible handle for compact storage. A decent sized clean water tank that holds about a half gallon of water/cleaning solution. The dirty water tank pops off with a simple squeeze of a latch and it has an easily cleanable plastic filter. Also, the brush roll and suction nozzle simply pop off for cleaning. With all that being said, I have never had a carpet cleaner that was this easy to clean.
As for performance, I tested this in two areas. First was my office which was about 110 sq ft. Then in my bedroom, which had a few pet stains. In the office, using the "Express Clean" function, I was able to easily clean the entire 110 sq ft. When I was done, the carpet looked great and it dried in about 45 minutes. In my bedroom, I tested the "Deep clean" and "Cleanshot" function. In this mode the carpet cleaner was only able to clean about 50 sq ft at a time. This meant I had to dump and refill the carpet cleaner about 5 times. However, due to the awesome design of the fill and dump tanks I was perfectly content with doing that. When I was done, the carpet looked great, however, there were some small deeper stains that It wasn't able to clean, even while using the "Cleanshot" function. With that being said, I don't think any of my carpet cleaners would have been able to do it without pretreating.
Overall, I will say, the Bissell Jetscrub Pet carpet cleaner is still a winner. The small size, excellent design and easy cleanup, make this the Best carpet cleaner I have ever used. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

This BISSELL JetScrub is a great addition to home essentials when it comes to carpet maintenance. Quality of construction is well made, assemble and disassemble process is straightforward, lightweight which makes it stands out compared to its predecessors that do the same job. I have cleaning routine which almost OCD, my house carpet is light beige which gets darkened so easily due to heavy traffic. After using this Bissell I have noticed an impressive result! Color is renewed and became brighter as well as it puffed up. Deep cleaning was effective combined with amount of cleaner formula being sprayed. Of course the type of cleaner is a key factor in the cleaning process, color and some stains are removed magically. What I like is: lightweight, spraying pattern, easiness of cleaning parts, and LED lights that helps see stains better. What I hoped to have also is the heater, it would be a prefect machine to have it as it helps in drying up carpet if it gets wet during the cleaning. Overall, perfect machine and works pretty well!

Easy to clean was a huge factor for me. I could get by using the ones that cost half as much as this, but cleaning them is a pain. This cleans very easy.
Im happy with the performance. I used the Express Clean on my first test and didn't have any problems with excess water. If you get black clumps left behind its because your carpet had some debris in from your vacuum not catching it all. And I didnt get any black clumps until the inner area was completely full of black clumps(never cleaned my carpet). It took a ton of gunk out even after I ran the vacuum 3 times to get it extra clean. And my carpet visually looked clean before I started. No stains or anything to try and remove. Im moving soon so I just wanted to clean it well.

Amazing product, this was exactly what I needed. My home is mostly hardwood. We have a few large rugs including an 18 foot runner tacked to the floor. This machine made the rug look great in one deep clean. The water was so gross I'm likely to clean it again in a week after it dries thoroughly. The rug did not get soaked. It was dry for walking in hours. The tank held just enough to deep clean the 3x18 rug, so doing a whole carpeted house might get tedious with this machine. I cannot wait to clean my carpeted stairs next with this machine. Oh, cleanup was a breeze. Just read the directions!

Got this on sale for Black Friday and it was the best thing I ever bought! It is very easy to clean in between sessions and the amount of fur and old carpet fiber with the deep clean mode on is incredible and I would say even better than a commercial rental carpet cleaner. So far, so good. Just wish it had a wand attachment for upholstery so we don’t have to buy a separate piece of equipment to clean messes that aren’t on the floor. Also, trying to use on stairs is cumbersome and doesn’t get the whole stair.
It is easy to clean, including emptying the dirty water bin, roller, and top plate. I also like the storage tray which neatly holds all parts for proper drying. 4/5 stars.

This is a good, solid stain lifter but may take several passes to fully remove stain(s). It will leak a little & it's a heavy machine.
