Works very well and does not leave excess water in the carpets

I've had the machine for a short time. It does an excellent job cleaning stains and the machine itself is well designed, particularly with its ability to spot clean upholstery. It is a great improvement over the previous Bissell I owned.

Love this carpet cleaner. Only issue is water reservoir is small.

Love that it can lift off for spot cleaning. Careful when holding down the trigger to not get the carpet too wet or else you will make the job much harder to suck it all up.

This thing sprays water and soap on the carpet. Then soft brushes scrub it in and then it sucks up the mess into an easy dump container. It leaves the carpets so clean that our dogs don't know where to start to mess them up again.

Nice to have an upright and a portable all in-one. The upright could use more suction but with the ability to take it off the base for quicker cleanups is nice.

Bought this for my dad, he loves it so much i will be getting one shortly!

The review summary pretty much sums it up. The carpet cleaner works like a wet vac. It also breaks down into a portable unit that can be used to spot treat, clean carpeted steps, or clean cloth seats in a car.

We have used this 15 or so times since I made the purchase. It does a great job only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the amount of moisture left after running over 4 or 5 times. All in all a great product.

I bought this to clean carpets where my dogs spend most of their time. The machine works great, brought up so much dig hair from the carpet that I didn't know was there. Carpets were dry in no time afterwards.

This is my third Bissell steam cleaner in the last 20 years, first one being a canister unit, the second one I used for years. Last summer I purchased a Hoover Pro XL carpet washer which I used twice and knew after the first use I had made a mistake not sticking with Bissell. This unit was a deal of the day, so got it at a great price. Tank sits flat so it's easy to fill with hot water, water stays hot during use and separate tank for extracted water makes it easy to empty. Not disappointed with this machine.

Picks up dirt easily. Easy assembly. Doesn't leave floor too wet. Portable lift off is great for hard to reach areas and corners. They heat is automatically used so there is no option to turn it off that I could see.

It's very easy to use and cleans stairs nicely. We have 3 dogs and two cats so there us always something happening on our carpets. This takes care of it quickly.

We have 2 dogs; we purchased this unit after discovering one of them had bladder cancer so she had lots of accidents. So we've used the unit A LOT! Love it. However, now there's a hole that has formed in the hose leading from the nozzle into the handheld unit. Last time I used it, it hardly sucked up any water even though I patched the hole as best I could. It took 2 days for our couch cushions to dry. Have been looking at Bissell's website and there is no replacement hose available. My next endeavor will be to see how good their warranty is!!

It works great and is very user friendly I love it and definitely recommend it to anyone with children or pets

How nasty! Can't believe what it picked up out of my carpets, off my couch, or out of my car floors! This is a fantastic device and I highly recommend it!

I like this carpet cleaner, but wish that I did not have to keep refilling the water and then emptying it so frequently. Work slowly with it and if you don't mind the constant bending, you'll be fine.
