I owned a previous Bissel carpet cleaner and it died recently. That cleaner was pretty good. This system is excellent. Bissel must have listened to their customers and made some substantial improvements. Easy to use, well thought out, easy clean up, and did an excellent job cleaning my very dirty carpet.

When you have 3 dogs, this machine works wonders. I do wish the tank was bigger because I think I had to empty it around 5 different times while doing the living room alone. However, I am definitely glad I broke down and purchased this.

I love this steam cleaner! Not one complaint! Picks up almost all of the water, heats up the water nice and hot, and my carpet looks awesome! It weighs almost nothing and filling/emptying the containers is a synch. It got out pet strains that have been there for two years. Get it. Get it now.

This carpet cleaner is great! It's not heavy or bulky and I love the two for the price of one machine. Especially great for cars, area rugs and furniture. Only downfall is that it fills up with dirty water faster than I would like, but other than that it's a great machine.

The tank is a little small, but I overdo it when applying solution. I have 8 cats, so I do a good cleaning once a month. This thing takes little effort to completely destroy any stain. I like the lift off option, but rarely use it as the cleaner does a fine job by itself.

We have a very busy house with two dogs and two preteen kids ... Tons of traffic. This is by far the best carpet cleaner we've ever owned. I love that it is portable - makes it a lot easier to clean the stairs and hard to reach areas (back of couch seats) on the couch!

We have had a two floor cleaners over the past years and this one is the best we have tried. It is relatively lightweight, but has great suction. The unit is easy to prepare, easy to use, but it can be a bit cumbersome to empty afterward. Over all great product

This is a great cleaner in many ways. It does a wonderful job of cleaning. It picks up water well, the carpet dries fast, it's easy to use, and the fact that you can easily lift off the portable cleaner for little messes is fabulous!

Pros: 1) Great quality construction even for an all plastic device. Its the better higher end plastic compared to some other cheaper made vacuums. 2) The unit is really easy to put together and is very sturdy 3) The vacuum has tremendous cleaning power as witnessed by the attached shots of my carpet. I was left amazed at how much dirt the unit would suck out of the carpet. I have had other machines that the waste water wasn't as murky as what i saw with this machine. The water in this machine was actually milky...never seen anything like that. 4) No leaks from any of the connection points. 5) The scrubbers are pretty powerful at least from what i can tell. 6) Just look at the pictures!!! Cons; 1) The containers for the carpet solution is so so so small. You run out of solution in this container so fast. If you are cleaning a large rugs get ready for some real exercise going to refill the solution container on a regular basis. 2) The waste water container is just as small as the solution container. So its so deceiving because the container is fairly large but only fills half way with waste water. Again you have to constantly remove and dump the water and get back to cleaning. I can understand the reason since this is a portable unit but i really had no idea it was that small 3) The wire for the unit is wrapped around the portable unit and when you use the main attachment assembly, the Wire does not have a lead to attach to on the main vacuum housing. As a result its a real pain in neck when your cleaning the machine because the wire is on one side of the unit. Most machines have the electric cord placed own the rear of the unit so it doesn't get in the way of cleaning. I have to say the wire never got tangled but it was still very hard for me to maneuver the unit with the wire on the right hand side.

Purchased to replace an old bissel pro-heat pet. Have 2 large dogs and 2 cats that are a terror to any carpet.l, especially lighter colors. This machine is one of the easiest to use/clean/take apart. Does an above average job on typical traffic stains and solids, hardly leaving the carpet damp to the touch. It does require a little extra effort on liquids and biologicals (urine) and not always a given to get them out without additional measures. Ability to remove tank and carry is awesome for steps and hard to reach places. Have noticed the deep brush is highly effective at picking up unseen pet hair, so be ready to stop often to pick up large clumps off the floor up or unclog the hose/brush. All in all, a great machine on the higher price scale, but worth it if you see yourself using it weekly.

I bought this carpet cleaner because my dog had a few accidents that wouldn't come out of the carpet with a normal carpet cleaner (resolve). I used this in combination with the pet solution and the stains went away instantly. The cleaner got the carpet very dry after a few passes and it only took about two hours for the carpet to be completely dry. Great purchase!

Carpet Cleaner works fantastic, really cleans well and leaves carpet pretty dry after cleaning. Only negative is that it uses a LOT of water to clean, so you will fill the tank often. Very happy overall.

Cleans high traffic very well. Picks up tons of pet hair. Dries in a day or even overnight. I'm really glad I have it for whenever I need it.

I like this stern cleaner whe have had several different kinds this one I like best because of the lift off function easy to do spot clean ups. Clean ups in your car and the stairs

This is our 2nd Bissell cleaner. Our first one lasted over 10 years. This one has a new feature of the removable spot cleaner. It works very well and makes the stairs easier to do.

Work Great! Love the bucket detachment. Able to do furniture and stairs. Has great suction and is lightweight. Great Purchase!

Unit works as expected. It was easy to assemble and was using it within 15 minutes. It cleaned the carpet well and removed the spots I was hoping it would.

Worked great, cleaned my yucky carpet without getting it soaking wet. It was very easy to put together and use, not very heavy and does what it is supposed to do :)

My only complaint is that the clean water tank is small and needs to be refilled often. Other then that, it's a great product. Works very well.

I was hesitant on buying my first carpet cleaning machine but I am glad I did. I bought this yesterday and put it right to work. I couldn't believe how easy it was to operate and how well it performed. The only small down side is the size of the water tank. But overall this machine is perfect for pet owners. My carpets have never looked so good.
