I have not had many opportunities to use the steam option on the machine but it does alright as an upholstery cleaner so far. What REALLY BOTHERS ME are the attachment heads. They are NOT sturdy and come off SOO easily while you’re trying to clean. The design of the attachment heads are not that great and could have been designed better. They do not meet my cleaning needs very well. Also, the trigger button should have been placed somewhere else than where it is right now. It keeps getting in the way when I try to scrub or suck up the dirty stuff. It is so sensitive that it bumps into everything and soaks more than I need it to while I’m just trying to suck up the initial spray. Honestly, I feel like a lot more thought could have been put into this product when they were making it. If you want to use either steam option you have to wait for it to heat up for 30 seconds then press the lever until steam forms. You end up losing A LOT of cleaning solution mixture just waiting for what seems to be BARELY any steam. I’m honestly kinda disappointed. I should have just bought a separate steam cleaner and a separate portable upholstery cleaner.

I have 2 dogs. We unfortunately use this all the time. It is easy yo use and works great.

Super excellent product. If anything, it works too well because it leaves immaculately clean spots on my sometimes dingy carpet. Highly recommend it. Love the steam feature too.

We purchased this bbecause of our new puppy, and all the training stains that come along with it. We have a Bissell upright carpet cleaner, but still smelled some stuff. We bought a black light and found urine still in the carpet. After using this with the steam cleaning, it took ALL of the locked in stain and smell out. More importantly, the dirty water tanks COMPLETELY opens instead of just having a pouring flap. This makes sure you can actually CLEAN the dirty tank and doesn't always have "just a little" of the nasty water in it after emptying. 10/10!

It works! Cleaned an entire couch with this and performed excellent. Does a great job on spots and small areas. Cleans and removes water excellent.

This is perfect for cleaning furniture flooring and my ship lap cedar walls. I like the size which makes it easier to use and shuffle around the house. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to keep up their home.

Upgraded from the original little green machine. What a difference! This one with steam is so much better, well worth the upgrade. It's a lot more versatile with the included attachments (one 6 inch wide and another much smaller crevasse tool). It's also much much easier to clean the tool after use. The original little green machine was almost impossible to clean after it traps hair inside. It's a breeze for this one. Finally, the steam, I really like it. Not sure how much it actually helps with the cleaning but it just feels so much cleaner/nicer after you apply steam to an area.

This little machine cleans really well. I have some old stains on my carpet and it removed most of them, but some remained.. I do feel the steam is more of a gimmick than anything, I actually could hold my hand in the steam without a burn... But I do have a 6 year old boy and shooting some steam at and around the toilet works wonders for removing urine and urine smell!

Carpet cleaner is easy to setup and use. Unit comes with a better brush then other brands we have used. Easy to clean if pet hair gets into the bristles. U it is easy to clean after using. The steam function works as described and helps with deep clean or dried pet spots/accidents.

I would say its good not the best but for small detailing in the car it i was surprisingly impressed. Work on getting a good shampooand that will help you the most.

I had (and still do) the Bissell Little Green Pet and decided with a toddler and animals we should probably opt for the steam version. I wish it came with more tools, but overall I am pretty happy with the unit. The steam clean function heats quickly and does a great job helping to sanitize food spills. I highly recommend Bissell's line of wet vac's and am trading in my Rug Doctor for a Bissell Big Green soon.

The Hydrosteam does a great job lifting dirt and grime, and the steam feature is excellent for deep cleaning. However, the suction isn’t as strong as I expected. It leaves behind more water than it should, requiring extra drying time. Still a solid machine, just wish the suction matched the cleaning power.

Excellent machine, easy to use, does a great job. I would say one of the best portable machines out there. I also have the upright shampooer, which also does a lovely job on larger areas.
