This little cleaner does a pretty good job. We have an older pet who has had some accidents and it gets the job done cleaning recent stains. I also used it to clean the carpet in a car wevwere selling. Did a decent job on dirty car carpet. The name is a little deceiving - thus my 4 stars - I don't think it heats the water. The instructions tell you to use hot water. Suction is decent - not a good as one of the big cleaners - but gets the job done for a small area. Would not be good for large areas. All the parts disassemble for cleaning. I have used it several times and so far the cleaner itself is staying pretty clean. I rinse everything really well with hot water and air dry on a towel before putting it away.

The Bissel LIttle Green is one heck of a small cleaning machine! There is some assembly required but it's not too much nor too hard. There are two included attachments, one for general type cleaning and another for cleaning on stairs. Our dog was kind enough to puke on the living room carpet thus providing an opportunity to put the cleaner to the test. I've attached both before and after pictures. In the past when something like this happened we'd just live with the stain but not this time. This Bissel made short work on the stain and one can't even tell where the "incident" happened. The cleaner is remarkably quiet and isn't too heavy to move around. I only have two complaints so far. The part that hooks on the back of the cleaner doesn't really do a good job of holding whichever attachment you're not actively using. Not to big of a deal in my book. The other complaint is that the cleaning head does not swivel. Again, not that big of a deal. If you're looking for something that is semi-portable and does an outstanding job of cleaning then this is the machine you're looking for.

I purchased this machine as a replacement for the little green machine that I have had for many years that started to leak. I love the little green machine. I have animals and it works for all kind of animal as well as people clean ups. Easy to use, easy to clean and small enough to store easily.

I so desperately needed to get some stains out of my office chair and spot clean some stains on my carpet that I’ve been sitting on for months. I saw this & I thought to just try it out. I’ve used one of the bigger Shark vacuum ones and it did it’s job but probably not as great as I wanted it to (took too long to dry, bulky, etc). With this, though, The process was super simple, easy to set up, it’s small and compact so you can fit it anywhere without it taking too much space in the closet, and has so much suction power that it dries quickly. The only thing is the hose is a little too tight to wrap around the machine so be careful putting it back. I had a little leak the second time I used it, but it was an easy fix — I just had to make sure the hose was fully pushed back and sealed. Besides that, this is a great cleaning purchase.

We got a new puppy, and all the new messes that come with one. It not only cleared up all the residual messes, but also cleaned all the seats in my car and the couches. It only leaks if you take off the containers to empty/fill and tilt it at all. It’s got a smaller capacity, but it’s portable and I feel like they struck a great balance on how long you can use it and how portable it is.

This may be a little machine don’t let that fool you. Wow I can’t believe how great this is , cleans pet stains on my sofa and also no odors. I would recommend this to anyone who has pets or spills. It is lightweight and easy to use great for the elderly and cleans all the nooks and crannies.

Great little spot clean. easy to work, not very heavy, does the job a bigger carpet cleaner would do. You can store it in a hall closet, and bring it out in a emergency to do a fast spill so a stain won't set in. Love it.

Due to an illness, our cat had recently been using the upstairs carpets to throw up on and as a bathroom and we needed something immediately to help with the cleanup. We have a full size Bissell carpet cleaner but these were small spots and the full size was bulky and overkill for the job, We were able to purchase the Bissell Little Green Portable cleaner and it is so easy to use and does a great job with cleanup. The spots, stains and smell - ALL GONE! We are so pleased with the purchase. Now that our cat is feeling better, we know we will be totally prepared for the next time he isn't.

This is a very nice sized and easy to use portable cleaner that does a pretty good job! The only reason it did not get that 5th star is that I wish the bristles were just a bit longer so you wouldn't have to hold your hand in a certain position that hets uncomfortable quickly, and it is pretty loud. But, I can live with this since it does work pretty good!

Powerhouse. Does exactly what it claims. I ran out of the Bissel cleaning liquid it comes with - quite a small bottle. And just use a splash of dish soap instead. Works wonders. Sparing you a photo of it, as it works so well that I’d rather not show you the junk it pulled from my rug. Very easy to clean / travel with, as well. My friend’s cat got sick and I let her borrow it to clean up the mess.

I love this little carpet cleaner machine. I’ve had it for almost 5 months and recently it stopped sucking idk what happened but I have the protection plan on it so I’ll return it to get another one still the best cleaner

It is lightweight and easy to use. I really like how the machine heats up and because of this it cleans easier the the earlier model

Despite many reviews of this thing leaking, I haven't had that problem. I haven't had any problem with it actually I feel this is a really good and necessary piece of equipment for those who have pets. We have an older dog and she leaks urine from time to time, so this little tool comes in handy to clean those spots up, I like to add a little bit of essential oils to the cleaning solution and or use the orange cleaning solution that you can find on Amazon.

Ok, so this is one of the best pieces of equipment I’ve ever purchased. I used to have a full upright model which was difficult to use but this is just top flight. It’s light, strong, easy to use and way effective on rugs, upholstery. It’s a must if you have a pet. Easy to clean. Easy to store. Great item.

We have cats that puke... A lot... We've tried to confine the puking to one room in the house (they're locked in a bedroom for a while after eating). The room has (old) carpet, that I endeavor to clean periodically. 90% of the dried puke can be vacuumed, but it leaves a stain. I've tried the Resolve carpet cleaner (spray, wipe, vacuum), and it sort of works, but the stains are still there. When this Bissell system went on sale, I decided to try it. So, puke vacuumed, I proceeded per the Bissell instructions to further clean the carpet. The bottom line is: it works better than Resolve, but it's not perfect - the stains are still visible... just not as visible. The waste water this thing collects is definitely dirty, so it is cleaning a lot up. I have yet to try a re-do on old spots, so maybe it could be even better. And this carpet is old, so it doesn't have any modern stain protections that might make this work better. All in all, this Bissell works, it was easy to assemble, it's easy to use, but it's not perfect.

Great product. My roommate and I purchased this deep cleaner due to our pets having accidents in the house. It does a good job cleaning the carpet after our pets have accidents occasional. This is great for small areas. I don't really use the other attachments but they are also all nice and work well. Overall, the cleanser solution you have to use is at a decent price and last awhile since you have to dilute with water anyways. Have had no issues with it and we purchased it about a year ago.

I've used this many times! It's great for cleaning couches, cars, and small spots. and it's so easy to clean! Not to mention light.

I needed this to have something on hand to clean up after a kitty who has a very sensitive tummy. I did some spot cleaning on old, non-pet stains to test it out, and wow! My light yellow chairs look like they've gotten a facelift and a dingy cream colored sofa now has a few more years in it. This machine packs a punch and it's super easy to set, to use, and to clean afterwards. I'm going to buy another one for my dad's house - 100% recommend!

It really works, it leaves a pleasant clean aroma, even without adding air fresheners, easy to use, light, I would buy it again

Needed a hand held deep cleaner for our dog stains and odors. Was skeptical at first but upon first use, this little guy did exactly as advertised. No more stain but more importantly, odors are all gone. Easy to use and compact enough to take out and store away quickly.
