Quick and easy set up. Cleans the air and makes it easier to sleep. When it is on high, you can hear the fan, but it is more like the sound of white noise.

I'm not sure why they call this a personal air purifier, size maybe? If it's meant to be near you then they need to work on the noise for the next model. The fan speeds on low and sleep are nearly enough the same that the sleep mode is pointless, since the light can be turned off separately. They need to have a medium fan setting instead. At the lower settings the unit is really quiet. In fact, it is quiet enough that my cat will sleep next to it, and he hates anything that remotely resembles the sound of a vacuum cleaner. At low speeds, the unit moves very little air to the point where I don't think it creates a strong enough vacuum near the filter to clean the air more than a few inches away. On high speeds, is where I think it needs work and fails to live up to the name of "personal." You might as well be running a microwave next to you. I can't see anyone being wiling to tolerate this on high settings in their personal space. It is quite loud. I think it misses the mark. The lower settings don't really strike me as being effective, and on high it is way too loud to be in your personal space. If you want an air purifier, you're better off springing for a unit designed for larger spaces, which in my experience aren't much louder than an oscillating fan off in the corner of a room.

Bought this for my daughter, who uses it in a small room where the litter box is located. She says it is awesome!! No smells leave the room!

I put this next to the cat litter and it does a great job getting rid of the smell
