Picks up dog hair wonderfully and is easily cleanable

It does a good job of sucking up the dirt and hair.

I haven’t owned this for a long time, but it has all the right features for those who have pets. It will handle just about any kind of surface or carpet grade. Filters are re-usable and cleanable. Motor filter prevents hair from entering the motor section which makes cleaning much easier.

Great vacuum that actually gets dog hair with ease

Doesn't work quite as well as I'd hoped for cleaning up the abundant of cat hair that covers my floor. But the brush doesn't clog and the canister is easy to clean. I like the included Fabreze filter, which really does make the house smell cleaner.

At first it was strong and cleaned pretty well but after a while even after trying to keep up with its maintenance it just wore off and didn’t work like it used to. Had it for a year.

I love this thing that I'm actually thinking about having a shower with it haha. It is very good. I have been using an old vacuum on my apartment and the bedroom have carpet floors. I used it this vacuum in the bedroom and the amount of dust, hair and everything that came out was insane.

Its very quiet compared to others. It is small, so doesn't take up to much space. It does the job, but I wish it was a little more powerful so i didn't have to go over some places more than once. Great for the price

I've owned Dysons before and thought, based upon the reviews, this might challenge that vacuum for a lesser price. Not close. The bare floor option does suck up some dirt and dust, but it also fires a lot of it back towards you. The cord is inconvenient - it attaches at the bottom of vacuum, so when you move around it gets stuck under the wheels. You have to hold the cord up in your hand in order to avoid this problem. As far as overall dirt/dust... pick up, it's average. Nothing great. I had this a little over two months and I just wasn't satisfied so I bought a new Dyson. Night and day difference and ease of operation.

The Bissell - Pet Hair Eraser Turbo is a great vacuum cleaner. It works well on dog hair as well as our daughters long hair. The canister is easy to take out, empty and reinstall. We are a month in and highly recommend this vacuum cleaner.

This is by far the best vacuum I have ever purchased, it picks up all of my cats shedding hair!! It is an amazing vacuum and so easy to maneuver, I am so happy with my purchase!!

The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Turbo 2281 was pretty easy to assemble out of the box. Everything came nicely packaged, including the three add-on tools (LED lighted crevice tool, powered brush, dusting brush, and extender wand). During assembly, I noticed the hose to unit connections were more rubberized than I've noticed on previous vacuums. Maybe this helps with a tighter seal, but I just don't feel like I ever got the connections solidly connected. My other vacuum has sturdy plastic parts that make a nice clicking sound when they are in place so you know you've got it right. While assembly was easy, I will say I'm disappointed that the vacuum unit itself doesn't have a place to mount all of the attachments. The last thing I need is finding another place to store random pieces of equipment... and then remembering where I stored them. Once assembled and turned on, the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser packs quite a punch. It has a lot of suction! This is a great thing for a vacuum cleaner, but you could tell the suction was causing resistance when on carpeted floors. This can be partially offset by switching to the higher level floor setting. As I was making my rounds in the living room, I appreciated the maneuverability of the Bissell, but did note that it was heavier and not as easy to move around as my current upright (Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away Speed). While it isn't a huge issue for me since I don't have a huge place, if you're doing some heavy duty cleaning over a larger area, the Bissell could wear out your wrist. I don't mean to say that it is as heavy as some of the older solid metal vacuums from back in the day, but it is heavier than most that I've used recently. All of that said, suction was great and it did pick up a lot of hair out of the carpet that you never even knew was there... WHERE DOES IT ALL COME FROM!? What I really loved about the Bissell and where my Shark comes up short, is the powered rotating brush. Plug this in and flip the switch and you will seriously question whether or not it is safe to use on your furniture. It spins at an incredible rate and you worry you might take off the upholstery! I risked it and was amazed that it truly did erase all of the cat hairs that had become embedded and intertwined in the fabric of my couches. In just a couple of minutes, they looked brand new and free from cat hair! So I can't give this feature higher praise. If I could give it 6 stars, I would. In conclusion, I think that the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Turbo is a good vacuum. I'd much rather use it solely to remove pet hair on my furniture than as a standard upright since it is heavier and less maneuverable than my current vacuum. Even then, it's worth it just for the powered rotating brush! Pros: *Suction suction suction! It has plenty of it *Powered rotator brush *Ease of assembly *Lighted LED crevice tool Cons: *Heavier than most *All tools cannot be mounted on the vacuum. *Louder than I would prefer

LOVE this vacuum! Picks up more than you thought was there! Looking in the trash container you'll see all the dust it collects and leaves your rug nice & clean.

I've had a powerful cordless stick vac for a long time that worked great on bare floors and light carpet. This heavier, pet-care version will need some getting used to. It's cumbersome and the cord gets in the way.

This is a professional vacuum without having to pay the obserd prices of those other brands. Great vacuum easy to use with great tools. My single complaint is not having a designated spot on the vacuum to store the pet nozzle attachment.

This is great. It picks up dog hair better than any other vacuums and they give a portion of the sale to animal shelters It is great that the canister comes off to clean steps I love that feature

was never really a fan of bag-less vacuums, but I really like this one so far. amd the febreeze filter makes it smell really good as you are vacuuming. looks really nice and the bottom portion swivels.

It’s a great wet vac. I do have a complaint though . It leaks when not in use . So you have to put something under it so it doesn’t leak all over the place . Not slot but enough to be very irritating.

Had a stain that could not pull dog hair out of rug. This works like a gem... exactly what we needed it for.. not as good on laminate, but perfect for rug and carpet!

Great vacuum picks up pet hair very well. This is a great company if anything breaks on that they replace it right away or send you a whole new vacuum
