This vacuum was alright. It’s not what I expected it to be for the price though. The bottom attachment detaches by itself so I have to keep reattaching it. Maybe it’s a defect on my vacuum but it’s pretty annoying having to reattach it all the time.

Had for a little over a year and the spin brush stopped working. Took it apart and cleaned it out, still doesn’t work. Looking into the 5-yr manufacturing warranty hopefully it will cover it.

Do not buy this vacuum. I have had good experiences with Bissell vacuums in the past, so purchased this. The vacuum broke on my 5th use (no longer would suction), but even prior to its breaking, I was extremely disappointed for the following reasons: 1. Nothing about this vacuum is intuitive. The vacuum will only work if three buttons (power, brush roll and recline position) are all pushed simultaneously. The vacuum shuts off automatically if it is not in a reclined position-- which you might not notice, since it continues to make a suctioning noise. Both the filter and dirt tank release were incredibly difficult to empty and reattach. The filter release button would constantly jam without releasing its contents. The dirt tank will only reattach if you slide it in at a specific angle. If not, the bottom gets stuck and you have to spend a solid three minutes wrestling with it to detach and try again. 2. The vacuum has a lot of fancy features, but lacks basic ones. At first I was so excited about the easy release wand-- but I would hold my hand over it, and feel NO suction. The vacuum also lacks basic features like a retractable cord. 3. It doesn't work on hardwood or stones. The vacuum is clearly meant to work on carpets, and most of my house is carpeted. At the same time, I was hoping the vacuum would work on my linoleum floor in my kitchen and my hardwood floor. Nope. Suction was so weak that I had to sweep these areas instead. So if you buy this vacuum, be prepared to purchase a second, different vacuum, for your non-carpeted areas, or invest in a Swiffer. 4. It broke after 5 uses. It just... stopped suctioning... The only reason you should buy this vacuum is if you love vacuuming SO MUCH that you want the process to take three times as long as it normally should.
