Vacuum easily clogs and looses suction. Constantly having to unclog every second which is annoying never had to do with my shark vacuum. Bought vacuum because my other vacuum died after having it for years. Heard it was great for multi pet use but clogs after vacuuming up dirt and pet fur. It’s a flaw do to the very small openings the dirt travels by brissels under vacuum and where canister attaches. Very disappointed in product thinking about returning to get another shark or try a dyson.

Nice but didn’t last too long. The hose started to separate and required duct tape to fix after 6mths of owning the vacuum. When it works it was great and still works well even with the tape fix.

This is one of the best vaccumes I’ve ever bought!!

For being a pet specific vacuum we had a lot of pet hair clogging it. We’ve had this maybe a year and a half and the hose has already broken.

The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Plus is one of the best Pet Hair uprights I have ever used. We have a Kirby for our heavy duty cleaning put the problem with the Kirby is cleaning the Spool of all that pet hair. We are constantly cleaning the spool. This vacuum was carefully designed to eliminate that from its cleverly designed hi-tech spool that doesn’t collect hair on its spool. So in my opinion cleaning is more thorough because you have less dirty pet hair on the spool while cleaning the whole house. It has great swivel action as well giving this vacuum better cleaning enjoyment than the Kirby. It also has specialized tools to clean and remove pet hair from the couch, a quick release wand to reach higher dusty areas of the home and lower edge cleaning as well. My wife also likes the hand's free canister that allows you to empty the vacuum with one touch and not get it all over the place. Also has a “Smart Seal Allergen System” great for keeping pet dander in the vacuum and not in your breathable air. It is really an overall excellent choice for families with pets. I highly recommend it. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would. The only drawback is that because the spool is longer (giving it better ability to clean while not getting all the pet hair tangled in spool) it is a bit harder to clean it tight areas of the home. Also, the vacuum with the extension is nice and the couch cleaning tool is awesome it would have been nice to have a stair cleaning tool that would have given this a 5-star rating. I highly recommend this to anyone with pets or needs a deep cleaning vacuum that doesn’t get hair all tangled in the vacuum.

This is the worst waste of money we have ever spent. We finally decided to spend a little more for a decent vacuum, all the ones we spent $100 or less on in the past were better built than this thing. The suction is great. Makes no difference if the parts don't go together to get that suction. And the canister won't unlatch. After 3 uses the handle broke.

I have a small Pomeranian and she shed a lot This vacuum is amazing it pick up dander and all the fuzz. Easy to set up and clean.

I bought this just because of being sick of the hair constantly getting stuck in my dyson. This one it tends to ball up and cause the beater bar to "bounce" and I have to turn it off and clear the large clump from the brush area. It hasn't been clogging in other places like my dyson does. The suction level on this is quite a bit lower than I was used to with a shark or dyson.

Vacuum works ok but for ot to be for pet hairs also it does not get the job done.

Not the suction you need if you have pets. Lightweight and the swivel is nice.

Worked great until i got to thick carpet and agitator would not spin...otherwise worked well

This vacuum came at the right time, as one of our dogs had recently rendered our prior Bissell non-functional. I've long been a fan of Bissell vacs, and this Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Bagless Upright Vacuum is a terrific vacuum cleaner. Setup: The vacuum cleaner is well-packaged and easy to remove from the box. The colors are quite striking when you first see them in person. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. I unboxed it and began using it in less than 5 minutes total. Use: I appreciated the pivoting base. It made vacuuming around furniture much easier. It also allowed the top of the vacuum to get much closer to the floor than many other vacuums while the front suction area maintained contact with the floor. I liked the fact there was one switch for suction and another switch for the floor brush. I could turn the brush off and effectively use the vacuum as a dust mop. Suction power is adjustable and seems very strong. The clever design of taking the top handle out as the hose extension is nice. It allows you to get little stuff you otherwise couldn’t reach with a regular vacuum, and I prefer it over the lift-away design some vacs have. Features: There is an air freshener filter built in. It is washable. At first, the scent is quite strong, but it fades over time. The handle detaches into an extendable hose which can accept multiple attachments. This is quite handy. The brush, which is marketed as tangle-free, has not yet gotten tangled with fur or hair. Due to the design of the canister that collects the trash (and fur) from the floor, you can easily empty all the hair without much trouble. Overall: I have been very happy with this vacuum. It has become my new upright vacuum of choice.

It works okay. Sometimes it doesn’t pick up unless you go over it several times.

how the heck do you make a two hundred and sixty dollar vacuum that doesn't even have space included on the machine to hold the tools and accessories that come with the machine??? Why should I have to store the pet vacuum hand tool separately from the vacuum, makes absolutely no sense, after realizing when trying to assemble the machine, I realize I can not have pieces that do not stay with the machine, and I am returning this. Very disappointing considering my one hundred dollar 4 year old vacuum had a spot on the unit for each piece. Very dissapointed in my first Bissell purchase... also how do you not have a retractable cord for a couple hundred dollar vacuum, major design flaws. Don't let the LED lighting fool you, it is a very cheap and basic model for the price and material.

This works very good. Have tried all attachments and they work well. Seems a little heavier than my old Dyson but does a great job. We have 2 large dogs in the house and this keeps their hair at bay. Assembly was easy. Tangle free brush roll works great, where has this design been all these years? LED headlights are great for seeing what you are cleaning. Does a great job cleaning stairs in the lift away mode. All in all a great machine as long as it holds up like our old Dyson did.
