So far so good. The vacuum is easy to work. Cleaning the dust catcher is simple. Picking up dog and cat hair.

Nice light weight vacuum I use for the stairs and very powerful to get all that cat hair.

Really liked the ball joint on this lightweight vacuum. The roller to eliminate hair clogging was a bonus.

This vacuum has been a life saver. I just recently moved into a new place (my old one was all hardwood) and for the first time in years I needed a vacuum that could handle pet hair, a lot of pet hair. I tried a few other models from different manufactures and none of them could handle the pet hair. Some of them were even more expesive then this model. I can't stress enough how much I love this unit. If you have a pet this is the vacuum for you.

Easy to maneuver around furniture. It’s not heavy. Vacuums nicely. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

Assembly was very simple. Ready to use and easy to maintain. Will be a long term item that we own. Great sweeper for the money!

Approximately 6 years ago my newly wedded wife and I went to a retail store that we received gift cards for with the goal of picking up a new vacuum that was going to last longer than our previous Bissell vacuum that seemed to be unusable after approximately a year. I was very disappointed in Bissell and would not buy another one of their products. I was hard set on buying the premier "ball" vacuum that was nearly $500 because I figured that you get what you pay for. The wife talked me out of it, and we purchased their competitor at half the price and it did us very well for 6 years.Now we have a 3 year old that loved to imitate her mother's cooking and decided to pour all of our seasonings all over her play kitchen set in her carpeted room. Fighting through the scent of Chile Powder, Garlic, Hickory BBQ, Cocoa, and anything else that you could imagine coating the floor, our six year old vacuum pretty much put in its resignation. Every part of it became so coated with powder that parts stopped moving. At this point a vacuum change needed to be made. We originally were looking to get the latest model of the brand we had, as it had served us well. But it was really hard to ignore the purple and green Bissell Vacuum that just screemed "LOOK AT ME". So we did. Assembly of this vacuum was simple. Very simple. Take the directions, place them to the side, and just start grabbing parts. It is obvious where they go. The securely snap into place exactly where they belong. And before you know it, you are following your toddler around cleaning up messes as they happen. Using this vacuum is just as easy, if not easier, than assembly. It feels much lighter than the sturdy construction would lead you to believe. It maneuvers very well around rooms, corners, and objects, which is fantastic as I had been cleaning up messes that had left me frustrated with the old vacuum. No frustration here. This BIssell also has amazing suction power. I have a robotic vacuum that does a good job and vacuums 4 days a week. This vacuum still found lots of filth that I didn't know was there. The handle of the vacuum also detaches and becomes a spot vacuum with extended reach. This is great of reaching those HVAC registers, under cabinets, and even in your car. Speaking of in your car, this vacuum includes a lit attachment for getting in those tight spaces. AMAZING! I cleaned both my truck and the wife's car with this vacuum, and these attachments made it simple. After cleaning up the mess, cleaning up the vacuum is also very easy. Which is a very overlooked aspect of vacuums. After you are done cleaning, you really don't want to spend more time than you have too cleaning your cleaning tool. I mean, that's like trying to use a flashlight in the dark to find the flashlight that you dropped. Just silly. Thankfully, you are cleaned up and ready to store in a snap. The only downside of this vacuum, and I mean the ONLY downside, is that you do not have a place on the vacuum to store all of the attachments. Most of them do, but I really hate trying to keep track of independent parts for things as they usually end up in a different location. CLIFF NOTES: This vacuum sucks, which in the world of vacuums is the best compliment that you can give. It sucks really well. Add on to that all of the features and maneuverability of this vacuum, you need one in your closet, in your hand, in your house. It will wreck your messes.

I had my doubts about this vacuum and didn't want to separate from my automatic wraping cord on my old one. But I feel like this one definitely picks up more and is WAY EASIER to move around the house. My only concern is the narrow nozzle attachment is too bulky with the light to get some areas. I'm just looking for a different one to attach. But honestly I'm glad I got this.
