We have two medium hair cats who love to sleep on our black upholstered dining chairs or on our area rugs. This vacuum made short work of removing all the pet hair when other vacuums needed at least twice the effort for less satisfactory results. My only complaint (slight) is that I don’t see storage locations for all the attachments/accessories on the vacuum.

I needed a new vacuum. This is exactly what we needed. Its lightweight and very effective.

I like this new version of an old concept, aiming at pet hair maintenance. The machine seems to pick up pet hair (and I have 11 fur babies, one is a 150 lb. Great Pyrenees) better than any (including previous Bissell) machine that I have used before. But I do miss the auto cord winder, and the lack of ability to carry all accessories on the machine.

Good vacuum and close to great. Easy to clean but the roller does collect hair. Two daughters and a wife... the vacuum does collect hair on the roller. It was easier to remove over previous vacuums. Seems to be a solid build. Using the handheld detached wand is not clean for cleaning couch cushions.

Very solid vacuum, easy to use and it has great attachments

We have 2 dogs and 3 cats and no hard wood floors in our home. We actually went to Best Buy to purchase a different vacuum and ended up taking this model home. We can’t believe how much hair it picks up and how easy it is to remove the hair that gets tangled in the roller. Haven’t had any issues at all, I recommend this to anyone trying to buy a great quality product!

Vacuum picks up great and is very maneuverable. But they forgot or made the bad decision to not create a place on the vacuum to store the pet hair tool. The vacuum is branded and marketed for pet hair, but you gotta go find the tool for removing pet hair whenever you need it. Does that make sense? Poor design in that respect.

Bissell’s newest upright vacuum is basically their old upright vacuum with a few physical changes. It is lighter and feels like it has a lower center of gravity (which is a good thing). The well-designed attachments are the same - and they should be. Bissell deserves an award for including an LED light on the business end of their crevice wand - it’s a detail that sounds frivolous until you use it for the first time and wonder how you ever lived without it. I like the smaller frame on this new model - and I think that makes it easier to navigate. But what continues to make it such a nice vacuum are: (1) a stronger than expected suction, & (2) some serious beater-brush action (and the engagement of the beater-brush is switchable!). The vacuum is a little loud, but it really gets the job done. The “Pet Hair Eraser” moniker is gimmicky - any vacuum should be able to extract pet hair. Of course this one does that just fine - but I think it does that because it’s a good vacuum and not because it has some fur-related technology. Overall: this Bissell is easy to assemble and easy to use. It feels well-constructed and I think its performance is surprisingly good. It has a few smart physical modifications from earlier models without diminishing any of the strengths of the older Bissells.

I used to have some old, cheap $50 vacuum from college until it finally died. I thought it always did an adequate job at cleaning my floors... well until I bought this. This thing sucks up so much cat hair I have to empty it out twice if I clean all 1,500 sq ft of my house. This is a vast improvement from what I used before.

Great Item !!! Picks Up The Dog Fur For Sure!! I Love The Adjustments And The Easiest OF Cleaning It. Make Sure You Check The Pipe at The Base; After a Good Deep Vacuum. Sometimes Hair Build Up If There Is a lot !! Especially When Our daughter Brings Her Husky For A Visit

I have been suffering with a vacuum that barely works for years. I treated myself to this vacuum and it is amazing. The suction is so strong it knocks me over sometimes and the light underneath and on the attachments is so useful! If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I would.

I’m so glad we got this compact, light-weighted, handy Bissell Vacuum. We had Hoover’s for many many years, but theirs’ were so heavy. Thanks to other customers before us who made comments on Bestbuy’s Website, we were able to compare their reviews and choose the right one for us!

Picks up the hair like it says and you don’t have to worry too much about it getting tangled. Although, their are times when you do have to remove it from the roller manually. Very smooth transitions from carpet to floor.

It really does pick up pet hair. We have a Golden Retriever that sheds quite a lot. My only complaint is when you step on the release to lean the vacuum back to start vacuuming, it sounds like it is going to break. The canister is easy to empty.

So far it's great. Pretty cool engineering super fun to use. Feels like I'm operating a fancy car by the way it moves with you. It pivots at the bottom so it's less friction on your wrist. It's a very nice piece without having to pay $600 .

It cleans very well without effot. Use it 1-2x a week and it has lasted without any issues. Every sweeper I've purchased has broke in 6mo or needed maintenance. This has maintained a 2,400sq ft home with a pet cat without a single issue.
