Customers often highlight the Pet Hair Eraser® Upright Vacuum's ability to pick up pet hair and its powerful suction. They appreciate its ease of use and the variety of attachments that come with it. However, some customers find it to be heavy and not very maneuverable. There are also a few complaints about the swivel feature, the brush stopping on carpets, and the loud noise level.

I have two Alaskan Malamutes at home, which means hair everywhere in the house...
I have gone through quite a number of vacuums looking for the one that could provide not only well balanced performance on carpet, hard wood and tile floors but could also handle troublesome pet hair. I have tested several vacuums over the past two years (Hoover, Shark, Bissell, Dyson) and have found this to be the best performing upright vacuum at an affordable price point (I was able to get this on sale for $175 which made it a much more attractive option than spending $300+ on a Dyson/premium vacuums).
The anti-tangle roller is amazing and the cyclonic action bagless canister makes clean up a simple task. The additional cleaning attachments, swivel steering and Febreze SmartSeal features are a bonus.
If you have pets, this is an absolute must need for your house.

Keeps up with 6 cats and a black Lab.

Our household has six cats and a black lab, so I was very excited to try out this new vacuum. We have a mix of carpet and hardwood floors and our main vacuum has been a Kenmore canister vacuum. We go through a lot of bags with it because of all the hair, so I was very interested to see how well a bagless worked.
Overall, I was pretty impressed. After doing the whole house and emptying the canister 3 or 4 times, there was still zero hair tangled in the roller. The canister was easy to empty, as advertised. It did a great job cleaning up hair, litter, and every little visible speck of debris. Best of all, the hand vacuum attachment (TurboEraser) worked surprisingly well on the stairs. I think any pet owner would be pleased with this vacuum.
There are a couple of things that are just slightly disappointing, though not deal breakers by any means. One is the noise. It's about the same level of noise as our other vacuums, but I had hoped that being a design targeted at pet owners they might have somehow made it quieter. However, the first priority is that it works well (which it does), and if it still terrorizes the cats then that's the price we have to pay.
The second was the placement of the on/off switches on the body instead of the handle. I understand why they do this, but I still found myself wanting to flip the switch on the handle each time (like my other vacuums). Also, having two switches--one for the main power and one for the floor roller--was a bit of a nuisance. If you push the handle to the upright and locked position it does automatically turn off the roller, however.
Everything else about the vacuum I liked. It has a nice, long 30' power cord that's easy to wrap in its brackets on the back. The optional two-tool bracket worked well to hold the crevice tool and TurboEraser. The slightly smaller head and the swivel feature made it so I could easily reach in corners that are more challenging to the larger vacuums. It was also fun to watch the hair build up in the canister "tornado" as I ran over the hairy spots in the carpet. Anything that makes vacuuming a little more entertaining is a plus.
I was a little worried that it'd be tippy on the stairs while using the TurboEraser, but the floor roller is narrow enough that I was able to turn the unit sideways on the steps and it was very stable. I was very skeptical that the TurboErase would work since it's only powered by airflow across the little paddle wheel inside. We had another brand of vacuum with that design and it was useless. In this case, however, it worked extremely well and really scrubbed at the carpet. I guess they aren't kidding by calling it "turbo" because it really does add a high-pitched, extra noise while it's working. Good for cleaning, not so good for cat ears (but they got over it).
One final thing I noticed is that you really do need to set it to the correct carpet height setting. At first, I had it on the default setting and thought "what a dumb vacuum--it's not picking up anything on the rug." Then my wife pointed out I should try the lower setting and, sure enough, it worked perfectly after that. The only problem later was cleaning the few small rugs we have around on the hardwood floors. The suction works so well, I had to keep one foot somewhere on the rug while I was vacuuming to keep it from sliding around. This isn't a problem with our Kenmore canister, but then it also doesn't clean the rugs as thoroughly.
So, I will happily switch to using this for all of our regular vacuuming of pet areas and I think it'll be a good investment. Now if only Bissell would come out with a "Dog Drool Eraser(tm)" for the carpets.

Premium Vacuum Cleaner!!!

In our household of four cats, cleaning is almost a daily chore. It seems every time rooms are cleaned and dusted, even more cat hair appears. As such, I was curious to see how this Bissell Pet Eraser would hold up in comparison to our older vacuum cleaner. I decided to give this a test and what a difference this vacuum cleaner made! Upon first inspection out of the box, the vacuum cleaner felt well constructed. It was slightly lighter than our previous one, but not by much. Physically, the vacuum cleaner has an average size; it felt smaller than our other one which was actually quite nice.
In the box, we find several accessories for cleaning; most of which are most common: a baseboard tool which has a LED light on it and the pet eraser tool for carpet. It also came with a Febreze pre-motor filter which had a pleasant scent. In addition, the cleaning hose is actually the handle for the whole unit as opposed to our old one where the hose was separate from the handle. This feature was quite nice as it felt more compact than our older unit. Furthermore, located on the left side are the power button and an on/off switch for the rollers. This prevents overheating and was probably one of the best features as I personally had burned a spot in the carpet with the old vacuum cleaner so this was definitely a big plus. At the bottom on the left side, you will notice the green knob that is turned when you want to alternate between regular vacuuming with the rollers or clean with the hose. It will take some time to get used to this, but it is extremely important to remember. A couple times I forgot and realized it was not sucking. After using it a few times it should become a habit. I recommend alternating between floor and hose cleaning on stair cases or any room; remembering to change the knob will become a habit before you know it.
On the front of the unit, at the bottom, you will find the adjustment for the vacuum cleaner. Upon first use, I could really feel difference from the third, second and last setting (bare floor). It should be noted that based on your particular carpet and the setting, its performance will vary. As per the instructions, you would want to set it to where you can feel the most resistance. Since our carpet is quite old, the bare floor setting was used. Surprisingly, it still felt pretty resistant when vacuuming even on this setting. Also, a blue LED light around the floor adjustment knob illuminates when the rollers are engaged after it is removed from its upright position. I also noticed that, while cleaning the staircase, the rollers will automatically switch off when it is clicked back into the upright position. Another note is that the swivel of the base took some time to get used to. This was especially felt on the first few vacuuming sessions as our old one had only linear movements. In some places, it actually felt like it helped; others, for example, when I was cleaning the stairs with both methods, it was a bit difficult to guide the cleaner over each step. Also, when I used the baseboard tool, I noticed the slit wasn't as wide as the tool that came with the older vacuum cleaner. However, it still worked and I could still get in those tight spots around the baseboard.
Suction was fairly decent, although when I compared it to our older vacuum cleaner, it wasn't as powerful. Bissell has this listed as 8.5 amps and our older one was listed as 12 amps, however, I have no doubt the Bissell is more efficient in its power management. This also did not seem to affect its ability to clean as all the areas I have used it looked spotless. Also, when it was turned on, it was not as loud as our older one which was another benefit. As with electronics, specifications sometime mislead on paper, so I would advise to go in with an open mind. It performs fantastically with just the few rooms that I tested it on. On the stairs, the pet eraser tool worked perfectly. I was able to put a bit of force to really buff up some of the cat hair that was buried in the carpet. Despite the lower suction, it was not weak or had any issues picking up cat hair.
In summary, the Bissell Pet Eraser Vacuum cleaner is an amazing product. I would recommend it especially if your household is pet heavy like mine is and if its price can fit within your budget. At its price tag, it may deter some people away as naturally it might be out of reach for some. However, given its overall performance it does not disappoint and aside from a couple of the quirks that I mentioned, it could perhaps be one of the best vacuum cleaners that I have personally used. As for its cons, they are minor considering how much this vacuum cleaner performed. It is definitely worth a try and seemingly the cat hair is now under control. It might just prove to be the hair eraser you were looking for!
Pros:
*Roller on/off switch to prevent burning of carpet; overheat protection and rollers click off when it is shifted back to upright position.
*Cleaning hose is attached and used as the handle during normal vacuuming; gives a more compact appearance and feel.
*Pet Eraser Tool cleaned the stairs perfectly; Able to apply a good deal of force along the base of each stair to remove tons of hair.
* Operates quieter than our older vacuum cleaner.
Cons:
*The swivel movement took some time to get used to. Works well for some areas.
*The baseboard tool isn't as wide as our previous tool from the older vacuum cleaner.
*Slightly difficult to use the main rollers on the stairs due to its loose base.
*Takes some time getting used to adjusting the suction knob when switching between hose and floor cleaning modes.

As a dog owner, I was quite pleased to have the opportunity to review the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Upright Vacuum. We have two indoor dogs who love nothing more than shedding on our rugs.
Unboxing:
The vacuum cleaner is well-packaged and easy to remove from the box. The colors are quite striking when you first see them in person.
Setup:
Instructions are clear and easy to follow. A few things, like installing the multi-tool holder instead of the single holder, take so much force that you may be afraid of breaking something. Don't be. It is designed to hold tightly and to remove only with significant force.
Use:
First impression is that the vacuum is a bit heavy. That is particularly noticeable given the pivot joint at the base. The pivot makes it easy to corner, but it also takes some getting use to if you are coming from a fixed lower vacuum unit, as I was. Once you get used to it, though, the weight isn't really a factor, unless you have to lug it up or down stairs.
I appreciated the pivoting base. It made vacuuming around furniture much easier. It also allowed the top of the vacuum to get much closer to the floor than many other vacuums while the front suction area maintained contact with the floor.
I liked the fact there was one switch for suction and another switch for the floor brush. I could turn the brush off and effectively use the vacuum as a dust mop.
Suction power is adjustable and seems more than adequate.
The clever design of taking the top handle out as the hose extension is nice. It allows you to get little stuff you otherwise couldn't reach with a regular vacuum.
Features:
There is an air freshener filter built in. It is washable. At first, the scent is quite strong, but it fades over time.
The handle detaches into an extendable hose which can accept multiple attachments. This is quite handy.
The brush, which is marketed as tangle-free, has not yet gotten tangled with fur or hair.
Due to the design of the canister that collects the trash (and fur) from the floor, you can easily empty all the hair without much trouble.
Overall:
I have been very happy with this vacuum. It has become my new upright vacuum of choice.

This BISSELL joins a ton of other vacuums on the Pet Hair Eraser® bandwagon - but I don't really need something out of the ordinary for my pet. Don’t get me wrong, I have a golden retriever that sheds like crazy, but to me, the hair is just like any other debris. One of the selling points for this particular vacuum is a newfangled beater brush that isn’t supposed to be burdened by long hair but golden retriever hair isn’t long enough to be a problem. Might have added value for people with long-haired pets.
It also tries to find its place in the heavy-duty vacuum market ruled by Dysons and Hoover Wind Tunnels. I think the BISSELL is better. I hate Dyson vacuum cleaners - their pivoting ball thing may look like a great selling point in a commercial but if you try one out, you’ll see that it is bulky and badly made. There are better and more balanced pivoting vacuums on the market and this BISSELL is one of them. The Wind Tunnels are very nice (I like them more than the Dysons) - but the pivoting mechanism in the Hoovers seem a little weak too.
The design for this BISSELL is very strong. Components lock firmly and unlock easily and feel very well made - the canister releases and empties easily. The BISSELL also has a 15A motor which outflanks the Dysons and Hoovers - the suction on this machine is awesome. And even though the BISSELL is heavier, it is better balanced so it is easier to maneuver (which really surprised me). It only comes with two attachments: a small beater-brush tool and a crevice tool (there is also a brush attachment that is part of the wand - very clever). The crevice tool has a LED lamp at the tip to illuminate in front of the tool - I thought that was a little excessive until I used it! Pretty smart.
The only drawback that I see is superficial, but significant. None of the labels that come on the plastic parts of the vacuum peel off easily - they will require a ton of work (and Goo-Gone) to remove. While that doesn’t affect the functionality of the vacuum, I thought it was a ridiculous design oversight. Also: I’m not the biggest fan of “Cha-Cha Lime” for a color, but here we are.
This is my first adult vacuum and I am very impressed!

It was a nice coincidence our Hoover vacuum decided to give out on us when we received our Bissell Pet Hair Eraser to try out. Since we have three cats, we vacuum on a daily basis so we thought our house is spotless. But we were appalled by the amount of pet hair and dirt this baby has picked up! The bristles in this beast does an amazing job of picking up on all different surfaces as advertised. The attachments also does an amazing job of removing pet hair from our furniture and pet beddings. The Pet Hair Eraser is definitely a keeper!

I have a gargoyle blooded bulldog in my household. That I love to death and adore. I would do anything for my best friend but she has a problem, she sheds out of this world. Leaving her hair everywhere all over my floor. My old vacuum just wasn't cutting it when picking up her hair. So when I had a chance to try Bissell's Pet Hair vacuum I was ecstatic. The vacuum that's engineered for pets that built from the ground up really delivers on every single thing the box promised.
Opening the box you are greeted with instructions of everything within the box. There are even steps to take out the vacuum easily from the box. You also have customer support information and donations information for savepets. Assembly is the most tedious part of this vacuum in my opinion. The instructions are detailed but will have you spend way more time putting it together then you think.
Design wise it looks great with hints of a very bright lime green, giving it that "sports car" look. But overall Its pretty much your standard modern vacuum with pet branding all over it. It has a swivel that hits the corners at the right angles picking up all the hair. There are constant reminders about using the floor suction and hose/tool suction knob so you never forget to turn it.
Right away you can see the tangle free brush roll that delivers at the bottom. There is a switch to toggle this on and off near the power button. The tangle doesn't get tangled with my bulldog hair at all when in use. This was the single most annoying thing to untangle my bulldogs hair from my older vac so having this was a godsend to pet owners. Even worst is removing hair from dirt tank compartment from clogs. This vacuum eliminates all of that due to the "Pet hair eraser" a system where the pet hair always remain loose and doesn't clog up the rest of the dirt tank compartment. Does it work? YES! Yes it does and so well! No longer all of the dirt and hair is trapped. All you do is release the dirt compartment over the trash and all falls right out. Honestly it also work for long female hair on the ground too. Finally a Spooling system that works.
Their is a multi-surface switch which gives you control of the height, I've tried 3 different settings (I to III carpet height) which worked well enough for me.
Also let's talk about the truth that all pet owners have to go through one way or another in time...smell. All pets have an certain odor and my bulldog is no exception to this rule. One intriguing and interesting thing about this vacuum is their is an Febreze deodorizer filter that eliminates pet odor. For the most part it works filling up my room with a nice, fresh, and pleasant smell killing any other odors. The filters are washable according to Bissell and you can also order more Febreze from the company website. They also throw in a $1 off coupon for all the febreze air care products.
This vacuum have specialized pet tools for you to reach places that are hard to reach. I decided to try using this on a ceiling fan, steps, and behind the sofa just to try it out with pet hair. The handle releases as the tool for you to use. Also comes with a 2-in-1 pet brush that lets you pick up hair from delicate surfaces. As expected it works just fine picking up hair. I used the LED light at the edge of the tool behind the sofa and for the most part it does the trick. The LED light isn't that bright but it's enough to do the job.
If you are looking at this a stand alone vacuum without pets it's awesome but you wouldn't be taking advantages of the pet features it's deigns for. If that's what you are looking for I would say try one of others cheaper Bissell vacuums. BUT as a Pet Vacuum this thing is a monster for picking up pet hair (Even long human hair.) I never been happier to own a vacuum cleaner before. All of this combined with the 5-Year warranty and a $10 donation to Bissell's pet foundation you could not go wrong. I would certainly recommend this product to anyone with a pet easily. You MUST have it.

Got Pets? Get this Vacuum!

With 2 dogs and 1 cat, our home’s carpet can get full of hair in very little time. My 72 lbs pitbull mix sheds like no other. Her course fur will get weaved into the couch cushions, carpet, clothes, and everywhere that she loves to rub against. Our cat has very fine fur that will get matted into the furniture. We were in desperate need of a pet-centric vacuum cleaner.
We were in the market for a new vacuum as ours was over 8 years old. My older hoover was a bagless design with a regular belt driven roller in the front. The old hoover works just fine until it gets clogged with hair in the roller brushes. This reduced the overall effectiveness of the vacuum. The roller brush’s effective surface area essentially gets reduced with each strand of hair that wounded around the roller. The hair and long threads that get caught up in the roller was nearly impossible to remove. The tangled mess required a sharp pair of scissors and tons of patience to remove. Flip your current vacuum over and you will see what im talking about.
Then comes THIS vacuum! What drew me to this vacuum is that it was designed for households containing pets. They advertise a front roller that reduces the tangled mess I had with my older vacuum. I had to put the vacuum to the test right when I received it. Setup was a breeze. It was about 95% preassembled from the factory. Just need to attach a few parts without using any tools. I had the vacuum running within ten minutes of opening the box and reading the information booklet on getting started. A feature that makes it a pet-centric vacuum is the attachments. It includes an attachment to gently loosen the fur off furniture so you could vacuum it up.
My initial thoughts of this vacuum when pulling it out of the box are how “dyson-like” it looked. The bright colors will keep this from blending in with your room but that’s fine with me since I store my vacuum behind a closed door. The switches are at a convenient location to start and stop suction. There is also a separate button that starts and stops the rollers from spinning if you wanted to vacuum your hard floors.
We had previously vacuumed our living room earlier in the day without knowing that our new vacuum was coming in the mail. Even with the carpet previously vacuumed, we were still able to pull out half a canister of dog fur and dust from the living room carpet! We had no idea how much our old vacuum cleaner missed. We then tested the hand held roller attachment on our couch that the dog lays on. The hand vac with the rollers effectively cleaned the couch cushions. Since our pitbull’s fur is so course, it does take extra effort getting it out. The hand vac rollers were about 90% effective and that’s a huge difference from our previous vacuum. The lighted crevice tool was an added bonus. After re-vacuuming our whole house, we were able to fill 2 canisters worth of dust and hair. Gross but big win there.
Pros:
• Easy to maneuver. The head pivots like the dyson ball.
• Great roller design. You can even run over the vacuum power cord with no ill effect.
• Super easy to empty the canister.
• Easy to use hose with great hose length.
Cons:
• Head isn’t very wide so it takes a couple more passes to clean a large living room.
• No power cord winder
• Use of the handheld hose requires you to reach down to turn a different knob to divert the suction.
• A little heavy to carry up and down the stairs
Summary:
I’m very happy with this pet vacuum and I will recommend this to homes with pets. While I still have my older vacuum for the upstairs, I still like to vacuum the whole house with this Bissell as I can clearly see it takes a ton of dirt, dust, and fur out of my white carpets.
I hope you found this review useful!

I purchased this vacuum the other day for a much needed upgrade. There were two other options at the store but we chose this one since it was mid-range. I previously owned a different vacuum brand but wanted to try something different this go round. I chose Bissel because I previously purchased the small handheld pet eraser vacuum and its been fantastic.
Pros:
The assembly was incredibly easy with clear instructions. Took minutes to put together.
I LOVE the allergen feature! Having a golden retriever really puts vaccums to the test. I had thought my carpets were clean but Boy was i wrong! I've included a picture of what the chamber looked like after one room. It picked a lot of extra dirt/dander/hair.
The Febreeze filters are fantastic and smell great. Before we had to use the powdered carpet smell-good stuff that left a residue. The filter makes everything smell great without having to use those kinds of products.
As I've stated, I have a golden. That typically means long hair stuck in the brush roll. The tangle free one on Bissels hasnt tangled on me once! It is true to its word.
There is a swivel feature on this vacuum. At first I hated it, but I have gotten used to it the more I use it.
The suction power on this thing is STRONG! I know its new so it may just be that way for now but still, I am pleased. I will come back and update in several months to update if its still as powerful.
Now for the Cons:
I was not a big fan of the parts that you wind the cord around. The bracket on that that swivels is too loose in my opinion and ive been fighting with it to stay in the location I set it. This is the biggest reason I took a star.
Another thing that I personally dont enjoy is how I have to step on the bottom section to disengage it from a standing position. I much prefer the button to release.
Overall, the cons aren't deal breakers for me and I have been very pleased with my purchase. I highly recommend it to any and every pet owner who deals with a lot of fur. This vacuum has successfully stood up well to my furry household and I think I am now a Bissel lady for life!

This unit is a model 1650, it is in the color of Black and ChaCha Lime.
The unit was very easy to remove from the box, and had two options of hanging brackets to install. One optional bracket allowed for placement of the LED Lit Crevice Tool to be on-board only or the placement of both the LEd Lit Crevice and Pet TurboEraser® Tools to be on-board. Being this came with both tools I opted to store both tools onboard. I did notice it did not have any directions.
The provided options for this unit are:
Pet TurboEraser® Tool
SmartSeal™ Allergen System with Febreze® Pet Odor Eliminator™
30 foot chord
Cyclonic Pet-Hair Spooling System™
Bagless Technology
LED Lit Crevice Tool
Swivel Steering
Coming from a 10 year old Dyson, this unit is considerably lighter, but still pretty difficult to use on stairs, with it's swivel steering. When I noticed it had a LED Lit Crevice tool, I was excited that the tools were powered, hoping the Pet TurboEraser tool had a powered mini beater-bar to do our stairs. We have three flights of stairs that are carpeted. Upon inspecting the LED Lit crevice tool, I quickly realized that it's power was isolated, the tool has batteries and a actuator switch that turns the led on when the tool is attached to the extension wand on the vacuum. I then focused my attention on the TurboEraser tool to figure out what powered it, I assumed it was air actuated, and found that it has a turbine within the path of the suction tube. At first this disappointed me, but after first use, that completely changed. The design of the air turbine on this tool is incredible. It does a fantastic job on our carpeted stairs. I can also see where the LED Lit Crevice Tool would assist with getting tight corners clean, without any doubt.
This unit at 8.5 amps, is very powerful, the chord is adequate in length, and the onboard tool storage is definitely advantageous. One of the many selling points on this unit is it's "Tangle Free Brush Roll", it works well so far. Our Dyson would need to be disassembled on a monthly basis, to cut all of the human/canine hair/fur from its beater-bar(brush-roll). To date I see no hair/fur wrapping or tangling at all. If this proves to continue, my cleaning of the house has just got easier. Another selling point is it's Cyclonic Pet-Hair Spooling System, which in turn makes dumping it's bagless can a breeze, this works well also. With that being said I feel I have to mention that on it's box and in it's ads it shows some using the competitor (Dyson) and having to reach up into the canister to dump it. I have never had to do that once on our Dyson. Hopefully with this unit I will never have to as well.
The only thing I don't like on this unit is it's diverter valve, that switches between floor suction and tool suction. I imagine because my old vacuum did this switching automatically, once I remember I have to switch this option, I will not view this as negative.
Overall with it's price point, and it's many slick features geared to pet owners, this vacuum is surely one to check out. I would suggest this unit to friends, family and my blog readers.

Which is great if you have beasts of your own. Coming from the original Dyson Ball to this, the Bissell is much heavier. But what it adds in weight, it also adds in performance. And it is not that much harder to maneuver either. I am no longer frequently cutting long (human) hair from the roller, it all goes right in the tank. Move from tile to hardwood to multiple carpet/rug lengths with ease with the adjustable floor settings.

Good Value and Fits My Needs

I just got this vacuum last week and I have had the chance to do both floors in my home and the stairs which I usually dread because my other vacuum has fallen on me while using the attachments. The Pet Eraser's hose has enough length and it isn't so tightly kinked that it pulls the tank and make it fall.
The small attachment with the light on it sounded like a good idea but for me it was just a wow piece that didn't really fit my needs. Most vacuums come with the flat attachment that fits in tight corners and for me this was the equivalent with a LED light. I did find that I am not a fan of how the attachments connect to the hose. There isn't a click function to hold them in place so the suction powered brush falls out quite a bit unless you readjust it every now and then.
I currently have a really expensive vacuum, you know those that you almost have to finance? Well the Pet Eraser does collect quite a bit of dust and hair from my three dogs. I had just vacuumed using my other device and I was surprised that the Pet Eraser would catch anything. So it is awesome in that aspect.
My favorite part is the length of the power cord! It is long enough that I don't have to be bothered to vacuum my house in portions by having to disconnect and relocate the cord to a precise outlet. So kudos to you Bissell, I never thought i'd appreciate the length of my power cord.
So overall it's perfect for pets, easy to empty, I do love the Febreeze featured air filter. It's as though my machine plays mind tricks on me because after cleaning with the Pet Eraser I feel as though the whole house has been cleaned when the only thing I did was my floors! So my visitors will definitely appreciate that!

Vacuum does a good job picking up pet hair from carpet. It is easy to empty. Only negative is it is a little heavy, but manageable.

I bought this vacuum to replace my dying Hoover pet vacuum. I am very pleased with the performance compared to the Hoover. This does a much better job picking up pet hair and it is much easier to clean. One of the coolest features is how the hair does not get stuck in the spinning bristles or inside the canister when emptying it into the trash. This was an upgrade worth the price tag.

My other vacuum needed to be replaced so I ended up finding this one. It picks up so much dirt and pet hair even after I used my old vacuum the day before. It’s easy to use. My only struggle is the hose, although it does stretch out, doesn’t work for my whole stair case so I just had to carry it with me.

In a good way!!! I can't believe the suction on this thing....it is SO much better than my old vacuum. I love everything about it: it's quieter than I was expecting, the tools/attachments work like a charm, it's easy to empty out, the Febreeze filter makes the rooms smell amazing...I've never had a vacuum that swivels so that makes vacuuming even easier. I liked vacuuming before, but now I love vacuuming as it has officially become my favorite chore since purchasing this vacuum!! I look for reasons to use this thing. My dogs aren't as scared of this vacuum as they are to other vacuums. It's worth every penny!! You will not regret it!!

Great pet vacuum! I love the rubber bristles that don't require constant cleaning. I also love the ease with which it can be emptied. No more having to reach up to pull out the dirt, pet hair and debris. I have multiple furry, shedding pets and it does a great job of picking up all the fur and other dust and dirt. Another plus is the dirt cup holds a lot! No more multiple trips to the trash can to be emptied. But be warned: it is very heavy! I would give it 5 stars if it weren't quite so heavy.

Brush doesn't plug up with dog hair.

I was skeptical, I have a long hair border collie, I spent more time cleaning out the brush in my old vacuum, this one is great. It's a little heavier than I'd like, but it does a good job.
