I have 2 dogs and a cat. The vaccum picks the hair up Well. I had to return the first one. The plastic accessory holder was broken during shipping. The same plastic piece has broken on my new vaccum. Other than that no complaints.

I have this vacuum as well as a rainbow vacuum and prefer to use this vacuum for touchups as my Rainbow vacuum does a much better job getting a deep down clean. The easy release cabin on the Bissel is great and the filter does not get clogged with hair, which is also nice.

Great replacement vacuum that works well with animal fur. I saw an ad for this on the Animal Planet and turned to Best Buy when I needed a replacement. It is much lighter then I expected, turns easily, is powerful and works well. Cons: tough to pull back the handle, and the crevice tool isn't terribly effective.

I love this vacuum for cleaning the house full of carpet, 1 dog, 2 cats and 3 messy boys. The front brush does not get the human/pet hair wrapped around it but it does with longer strings. But it unravels easily. I suggest this vacuum to everyone!

Excellent purchase. I was reluctant at first because I had baggless vacuums in the past and they weren’t very good. After a couple of purchases, I eventually went back to a bagged vacuum. I decided to this a shot since we got a pet a couple of years ago and it was an excellent purchase.

I personally am the owner of a large German Shepard Dog and another part German Shepherd mix. This is my second Bissell pet hair vacuum. I love it as it does a great job it also allows me to clean my furniture easily with the hand held attachment. Love love the febreeze filters in these vacuums as well

Having to purchase a new vacuum I ran to best buy..... Of course.... I was looking for a pet hair type vacuum. This is a very easy vaccume to run and put together but I am disappointed in the amount of power it has.

Bought this for help keeping dog hair off furniture and floors. After a while lost som vacuum sucking power. Bought warranty and since this model was no longer available got V11 dyson best choice ever made.

I have a long haired domestic cat that sheds like crazy! This vacuum is amazing and easily removes cat hair from the carpet and bedding. It is great on multiple surfaces. I vacuum carpet and wood floors and there is no problems. I highly recommend this product to all pet owners!

I have five cats and a dog. This vacuum picks up a lot of hair. It's easy to maneuver and the turning radius is great. The only thing that is a tad bit cumbersome is using your foot to press down and adjust the handle. But, it does work and I'll get used to it. Love the vacuum.

With 3 kids and 2 cats at home this item was perfect for our family. Easy and lightweight my kids love to haul it around and vacuum different rooms. Love the fresh Fabreeze smell it leaves without having to spray anything. Would recommend this to anyone -- especially for the price!

I had new carpeting installed in my house and found that my Dyson would not work. The carpet was so plush, and the dyson does not have a height adjustment, it would just get bogged down and not move. This has five height adjustments and works great.

The pet hair eraser is a nice vacuum! It's easy to assemble and does a good job with picking up on both hard surfaces and carpeted floors. The tool attachment is nice also. I really like the way the bag empties! Not like my old one, so my allergies are happier.

We have two dogs and go through vacuums like water. This one has been amazing!! It has lasted quite a while and I stand behind it. It is so easy to clean and just a dream. Works well on rugs as well as hardwood floors.

This vacuum surprised me! Have been using a Dyson for years but noticed all pet hair was not being removed. After using the dyson, I went back over the carpets with this Bissell and was pleasantly surprised to see it removed all the pet hair left by other.

It's disappointing that an 'OK' vacuum costs over $250! The suction is ok. The attachments work ok. It works just fine. I feel like I overpaid but then my last vacuum cost over $300. It worked great but passed a couple weeks ago. :(

I know, I know, but that is what she wanted. What can I say? BB price matched and got it at a great price. BB makes it easy to price match so don't be afraid to ask about a lower price elsewhere.

I'm truly loving my new Bissell pet vacuum. I love the new features of not having to actually touch the canister to empty, just unsnap and voila! I'm especially enjoying the curvy features now. It took some getting use to, but now I'm a pro with it.

As a rule, my family likes Bissell product, both for their effectiveness and their purpose. Having said that, this might be the best vacuum that we've gotten from Bissell yet. I'll hold off giving it 5 stars until I see how long it lasts.
