My wife loves this vacuum! She was emotionally attached to our last one and when it finally died, she didn't think she'd find another with the strength and durability. Thank god we chose this one because she absolutely loves it.

The tangle free roller was the feature that I was most interested in and it works phenomenally. I strongly recommend this vacuum. Just remember as everyone says, if you don't get suction when in hose mode, you forgot to turn the dial from upright to hose.

This vacuum picks up cat hair (American Short) so easily. It also lifts dirt out of the carpet and hardwood floor better than any other vacuum I have owned. The hair and dirt empty from the collector cup so easily. It is perfect for my needs.

I've been using my vacuum for a month now and I don't have anything negative to say so far. I usually vacuum each room twice because I have two fluffy cats and a dog that sheds ALOT. Works great

Easy to use and it does the job amazingly. I have two dogs so fur gets everywhere! This vacuum makes it easy to get the hair off the carpet and also easy to remove it from the vacuum. I highly recommend this vacuum if you have dogs running around.

We have a Golden Retriever and tried numerous vacuums that never picked up the dog hair or easily clogged with the hair (including Dyson) but this one picked up everything and then some but still has never clogged even slightly with dog hair

I have long hair and two cats. This vacuum cleaner is up to the challenge. It took some getting used to because the handle swivels and is heavy, but it is worth the effort. The lighted crevice tool is an added bonus.

"Best thing since sliced bread"...does everything that you might want in a sweeper except for it to vacuum the dog hair by itself! Really...you can't go wrong with this one...don't wait until tomorrow...get one today...you owe it to yourself!

Awsome pet vacuum. We have tried other vacuum's that were for pet hair and haven't been half as happy with. Powerful motor and good accessories.

I was hesitant after having a Dyson for so long, but love how the hair really stays off the roller. Attachments light... but sometimes outs not a Dyson. It had Groton clogged... but my kids don't empty it.

Very pleased with this purchase and its performance! Love the Febreeze air filter that comes with it (or you can use the standard one) and the swivel turn on the vacuum it a big plus!

Outstanding purchase until the handle broke. Best Vacuum I have ever purchased. l was SAD to know that that they know longer make the Vacuum any longer.

I shed long hair. I have 3 dogs and a cat that shed. A normal vacuum gets the brush locked up after only a few occasions. I have yet to have to break out the scissors to unseize the brush.

This Bissell is amazing. This is actually the second one I purchased. I've had it for 4 years and it is still in good condition. Since I am moving I decided to purchase a new one for my new house.

I am constantly amazed how well this vacumm cleans. Perfect if you have pets that shed hair, it will literally "erase" the hair from floors. Highly Recommend

Love this cleaner It’s what I’ve been waiting for it picks up dirt and cleans it too . The swifter kind was just pushing dirt around on the floor

Love the tangle free spool. I can vacuum tassle ends, high shaggy and sheepskin rugs. I like being able to shut off the rotary spool with ease. I just wish the tube had an extension.

The machine picks up well however the handle can easily snap and the hose does not extend more than 3 feet from the unit. Otherwise, Bissell is a great product.

Awesome vacuum and value. We replaced a Dyson and my opinion is that the Bissell far out performs at half the cost.

I will start this review by saying that I absolutely love this vacuum. When it arrived, the box was very heavy. So I thought it's gonna be very heavy but as soon as I opened it, boy was I wrong. It was super lightweight. The packaging adds quite a bit of a weight but hey, that's what is needed if you expect your item to arrive safely. Our old vacuum was a bit on the heavier side, so this one really felt like a feather. Ok I just exaggerated a bit but still. We have a 10 months old son who would grab anything that he finds on the floor and puts it straight into his mouth in just a blink of an eye. Scatters his snacks all over. My wife and I have hair fall issue and you will see hair fallen here and there which adds more to the mess. Needless to say, we have to vacuum our carpet literally every day. We live in an apartment, so basically it's not that big of task as compared to a house. This vacuum does it's job pretty well. It has a great suction and its swivel base that makes it easy to turn. The first time we used the vacuum, we were surprised to see the difference between the carpet's cleanliness as compared to what our old vacuum used to do. We vacuumed with our old one just a day before and the new one picked up hoards of stuff my old one left behind. I'm actually a bit grossed out at what my baby has been walking around on. It is also not as much noisy as our old one. It is much quieter than I expected. It has a switch to turn the bristles on and off which allows you to use the vacuum on the carpet and on the wooden floor. The dirt canister is easy to empty; just push a button and the container opens from the bottom to let all the dirt and hair into the trash. The LED lighted crevice tool and the Pet Brush is a very nice feature. The vacuum also can be used with Febreze Filters that have a very strong smell. Switching from hose to brush is very easy and can be done via a wheel on the base. It actually feels solid instead of the flimsy plastic switches some units have for this function. I was planning to buy a dyson (pet version) but then I got this vacuum for free in exchange of an honest review and I was so surprised to see the performance. The dyson that I was looking to buy was $699 and this vacuum is less than half the price and just as much powerful. Honestly, this will give a tough competition to dyson in terms of performance and of course, price as well. You can literally buy 2 of these and still save $100. I would definitely recommend this vacuum to everyone.
