Customers often highlight the Pet Hair Eraser® Upright Vacuum's ability to pick up pet hair and its powerful suction. They appreciate its ease of use and the variety of attachments that come with it. However, some customers find it to be heavy and not very maneuverable. There are also a few complaints about the swivel feature, the brush stopping on carpets, and the loud noise level.

Very nice vacuum, especially for pet owners. Lots of easy to use attachments and very quiet. We can even vacuum with the kids napping. Much better than our last. Could be a little less heavy for my wife to use on the stairs. I guess that’s still my job

I bought a Bissell shampooer a few months ago so when my vacuum died I decided to stick with Bissell because it is so easy to use and I made the right decision. I have two chihuahua’s and their hair was hard to pick up with my dirt devil but this one does a great job.

The Bissell Co make good products and this model picked up all my cats hair and easy to use .You will have to get used to navigating it though, once that it accomplished you can do wonders. I recommend this product, I am a previous Bissell owner.

This Vacum actually performs as advertised. Sucks up pet hair, dirt and dust. Love the lighted crevice tool. I also like the fact that the design prevents premature clogging of the filters. This Vacum is a little on the heavy side but that's out weighed by its' performance.

We bought this vacuum when we saw it in the store because it said that the brush doesn't need to be cleaned. When we used it, it worked great. We have a dog and her hair is hard to get off the carpet but with this vacuum it's no challenge at all. Just wish it was a bit lighter.

This vacuum is great. I recently moved out of a 2 bedroom apartment that I had shared with two roommates and two 70lbs German Shepard mixes. About two weeks before we moved out, our old Eureka vacuum quit working. We bought the new Bissell Pet Hair Eraser to finish the last vacuuming of the apartment. This vacuum pulled up all the hair and debis that had accumulated over the two weeks AND all that the old Eureka had been missing for the past two years!
This vacuum is awesome at getting everything off and out of your carpets. It never looses suction, even when the bin is COMPLETELY full. The Fabreze filter that comes with it works amazingly too; after vacuuming at the end the Property Manager said they could not tell we had even had dogs.

Does what it says. Have a long haired dog and this really cleans up. I like the attachment for the stairs and the furniture. Very powerful and easy to empty the dirt. No problems with the dog hair on the rollers. This really does what it says. Highly recommend it.

This is the BEST vacuum that I have ever owned! It is easy to maneuver. It swivel’s, so it gets into those hard to clean areas. This Bissell has excellent gadgets that will help you clean anywhere! It is also very easy to empty and keep it clean!

I have used dyson for years but decided to try out this Bissell.
Dyson is much easier to use. With this Bissell, you have to make sure you turn a knob to get ground cleaning or tool cleaning. The other thing I don't like about the Bissell is the wand length. It's too short so you can't get up high, and you have to bend to get edges with the wand. Dyson wand is far superior.
The suction seems good.
The one area where the Bissell wins over Dyson is with emptying the canister. Just like in the ads, the dirt falls right out of the Bissell canister when being emptied, whereas with the Dyson, hair and dirt get stuck and you have to use your hand to get everything out.
If price isn't an issue for you, I'd recommend the Dyson over Bissell simply for ease of use and the superior wand tool.

We had a different vacuum and it was time to replace it, we chose this one. Had another brand and the hair was getting wound up, this one doesn't , Has a lot of suction and works well. Hair doesn't get stuck in can, easy to empty like it says its true.

I love this vacuum! It works so much better than the last 2 Dyson's we've had. It's easy to use & works wonders on the massive amount of dog hair our fur babies produce. I'd recommend this vacuum to everyone, especially those with pets.

This vacuum cleaner is sent from heaven. My boyfriend was against me spending so much money on a vacuum (he would be okay with a $25 one) and then he fell in love once he realized how well it cleaned our floors. We have a cat and a dog so we have a lot of pet hair around. This vacuum gets everything up off the floor! 10/10 recommend this vacuum!

I have a huge Golden/Chow mix dog who periodically "blows" his coat, and a Maine Coon cat who is hugely fluffy. Both are reddish gold, and the tumbleweed effect on my wood floors and oriental rugs is making me nuts. I wanted perfection, but this does a good job as long as I keep the suction on the highest level, and vacuum daily. It is, of course, bagless, and lighter in use than I first thought when I looked in the store. The reservoir is infinitely easier to clean than my old Shark, particularly the amazing no-clumping at the brush-roller feature. The hand vac (separate) keeps the car from being off limits to guests! It is not going back...... Fine for carpets, but again, always keep it on highest suction.
