I absolutely LOVE this steam mop!!!... I've been using it non-stop since I received it, my floors look spotless and I can rest knowing my kids won't pick any germs from it you just have to be careful when exchnaging the tools (pause it) or else you'll get your fingers burnt other than that you're gonna love it!!!

Very Nice Upgrade, Would Be Perfect w/1 Change

I am a neat freak. I own multiple vacuums that each have their intended purpose, I have other cleaning devices to get to all the nooks and crannies in the kitchen and bathrooms, and I have had a Bissell steam mop of some sort or another for years. My wife loves being married to me, because I keep the house spotless, which is good because she is a slob. I have enjoyed having both a Bissell PowerFresh steam mop as well as a handheld unit that comes with a bunch of attachments for cleaning all sorts of surfaces from glass, to counters, to bathroom tile and grout. The beauty of this new PowerFresh steam mop is that the floor mop is removable and can now be used with a bunch of different attachments to do the exact same things as I did with two appliances. Actually, I can do a bit more since you can either remove just the mop head and have the extra reach of the extension wand or you can remove all of it for up close work in a shower or kitchen. The new PowerFresh Slim steam mop is easier to use in virtually every way than my previous mop (I've attached a photo of the two side by side so you can see the unit I'm talking about). The Slim is easier to maneuver, easier to fill, has more accessories, and just has nicer ergonomics all around. That is, with one exception, the trigger. With the older model when you turn on the steam it just keeps going until you turn it off. With the new slim, not only do you have to turn on the steam but then you have to depress a trigger to get it to jet out. That is fine for when you are just using the core device for up close jobs but when doing about 1500 sq ft of ceramic tile it gets a little painful because not only is the trigger way up in the handle but it needs to be pressed down completely. With all the maneuvering around corners and such, it can be hard to keep everything going and still maintaining a comfortable grip. I would love it if there were a switch for floors that just used the pause button on the machine to start/stop the steam and otherwise used the trigger for more detailed work. I'm probably going to get one of those velcro bands and just basically zip-tie the trigger down when doing floors but Bissell could do us all a favor if they just made a trigger lock or something. All that being said, I am very pleased with this upgrade and it does a great job cleaning the floors and all the other areas. I am always dismayed at all the dirt that comes up from the floors despite vacuuming and swiffering them. Oh, the other benefit I have found with these steam mops is that the grout on the floor stays much nicer. Our house is only three years old but the grout still looks new, our neighbors who's house is actually a little newer than ours has grout that is already getting pretty grungy. She uses a regular mop though and the dirty water just kind of sits in the grout lines and when it dries it leaves all the dirt there. The steam mop does a better job while picking up all the excess water since there isn't a ton of it, and the steam also disinfects unlike her dirty water. I'm giving her my old steam mop so she can hopefully get her floors back to looking nice again.

Great way to clean hard floors

The Bissell PowerFresh Slim Steam Mop is a great way to clean hardwood floors. It is easy to assemble, so you will have it up and running in no time. It comes with multiple attachments for different cleaning projects. It also comes with a measuring coup to ensure that you don't overfill. The cleaning process is simplified with the Bissell PowerFresh Slim Steam Mop. Pour in two cups of water and start cleaning. It has a high and low steam setting. The high setting is recommended for more durable hard floors, so make sure that you chose the right setting as this thing gets hot. The thing that I was most impressed about is how easy it was to clean the grout on my tile floor. I hadn't cleaned it in a while, so it was really dark and dirty. One of the tools that is included with the steam mop is a grout cleaning tool, so I scrubbed away. I was blown away by how fast and easy it was to clean it up. The steam blows really hot, so it is easy to get that dirt loose. you can see the dirty water come out as you go. The Bissell Power Fresh Steam Mop really gets the job done. Something that I was really disappointed by was the quality of the attachments. The bristles on the grout tool got bent up after a few uses. It got to the point where the only thing scrubbing was the plastic housing and very minimal bristle activity. I was not able to complete my entire floor. This is the reason for the four star review. Storage is easy. The Steam Mop comes with a bracket and necessary hardware to screw into your wall. It takes up very little space, so storage is great. I would definitely recommend the Bissell PowerFresh Steam Mop. Made cleaning my home that much easier and faster.

Bissell was very quick to get this shipped out to me. I was able to read the manual and had it mounted the same day that I received it. I like the quick guide but you also get a manual with more detail on how to install and operate the steam mop. It’s very easy to use but it’s very important to go over the safety to avoid injuries because it’s hot steam. You have 3 big l.e.d buttons for low steam, pause and high steam. The steam is activated by simply pulling the trigger. You have great control moving this Bissell steam mop around and wait until you see the dirt it capture from just steam. It did wonders on my tiled kitchen floor and my hardwood is looking brand new. You can steam so much more but my main use will be the floors. What I did not like was the cord. I don’t know why Bissell decided not to make this cordless but it would make this so much more convenient. It has a mount but it does not charge. I think Bissell should work on a cordless model and if they are working on one please get it to your consumers because I think it’s a must for consumers such as myself. I’m happy with the cleaning results so I will rate this a 4 star only because it’s not cordless. Buying this steam mop you get: Lightweight, easy maneuvering, extra attachment tools and sanitized floors.

I have used various steam cleaners and I have to say that this one is the easiest to use and the most versatile. It is easy to assemble and will be up an running in no time. One of the nicest features is that not only will it do floors but also has a hand-held feature where you can clean wall tile and I've recently used it to clean spots out of the carpet in my car. There are a number of attachments you can use in hand-held mode for various situations. As for using it on floors it has different pads depending on if you are on tile or wood. I've used both and have to say it does an outstanding job on both. You can easily adjust the amount of steam from the handle. The other steamers have been donated and this is the keeper!

I have a lot of saltillo tile in my house as well as the new "wood look" tile planking. Keeping my saltillo tile and grout clean has always been a ....pick a nice word.... chore. Especially the grout, my house is now nearly 25 yrs old, originally the saltillo time was quite nice , but over time it become scuffed and dirty. I was hoping Bissell Slim Steam Mop would "solve' my problems. Well I found it to be an improvement over my vacuum and occasional wet mop, but the scrubby steam head did not remove the scuff markes as I'f hoped. BUT this steam mop is a 3 in 1 device, it also includes several special cleaning tips, that you can use with the hand held canister (easily disconnect the mop wand), using a 1" round stiff brush on the hand held allowed me pretty easily remove the scuff marks the mop itself did not remove. Yea it was more work to go back to each mark and scrub it with the little steam brush, it worked asn was far easier than getting out cleanser for each spot (which is what I would have done with out the Bissell). I've attach 2 images showing a before and after "spot" I cleaned On to my "wood look" tile floors, where a few noticeable spots came right off with the Slim Steam Mop, here I was much more impressed, with the reduced effort in cleaning. The mop slid much more easily, on the saltillo tile with the 1" grout joints the Slim Steam Mop took some effort to move, on the "wood look" tile floors it moved much more easily, and did an excellent job, I also carefully used the light steam setting on my solid wood floors (not recommended in the manual) in my kitchen, where you could see some spots, and the light steam cleaning remove them easily, I did not let the steam stay in any one place too long, and I used a minimal about of pressure on the mop, and spots be gone (my wife really did not want me to try this) but happily it works very well. I said this was a 3 in 1 device, the third use as clothes steamer (to remove wrinkles), the Bissell Slim Steam Mop, includes an attachment to used the hand held unit as an clothes steamer. I briefly tried it on a starched white dress shirt I had in my closet, which had wrinkled sleeves, and the Bissell did a great job of releasing the wrinkles, I used the steam attachment as a little (plastic) iron and the shirt looked great. If I'd bought this just for my saltillo tile floors, I'd have given it 2 or 3 stars, but because it is really multi functional, and did a great job on everything else I gave it 4 stars. So depending on how/where you use it you can expect your mileage to vary, you can see where I found it most effective.

Out of the box assembly was easy and review of the quick start guide and I am off to the cleaning races. There is handy tool storage on the base of the steam unit but I find they easily detach with use (maybe I'm clumsy) so I just took them off. The power chord has enough length to be useful. I would recommend (as does the manufacturer) the use of either distilled water or soft water to help avoid mineral build up. My first test was on a grill pan I forgot and left on the grill for a few days, it was really caked on burnt marinade. The photos shows the left side which I did exclusively with the Bissell in about 2 minutes using the steam tip and red brush. The right side is a gold ole fashion scrub bursh and dish soap. The steam mop won here, not to mention the mess in the sink I had to clean up, which I used the Bissell for too. On to my kitchen tile floor. This took a bit more work to get the grout clean but I did a test clean in another area where I scrubbed a bit first and got better results more quickly. Here is what I will say about floors. This is better than a mop and bucket but you would need to use regularly which wouldn't be a problem because it is more efficient and less of a mess than a mop and bucket. Just be sure you thoroughly vacuum first. Into the bathroom, I have two teenage boys with bad aim...my fault I guess. Anyway, this is awesome in cleaning the toilet, sink whatever. Some quick steam and wipe it down effortlessly. This also did great work on the rims on my jeep and removing road tar from fenders. Seems like there isn't anything you can't clean with this. There are two steam settings and a pause button. The wand for use on floors is on the short side but the head articulates nicely to get into corners and under cabinet toe kicks. The trick for floors seems to be an even slow pace to let the steam and heat work. One of the included washable floor pads has a texture to it which also seems to work better on tile. The unit seems to be built well and I don't have any concerns with fragile hinges on the water door or control buttons. All in all I would recommend as a great supplement to your cleaning arsenal.

Very nice, multi-functional steam cleaner. While it's listed as steam mop, it also works as a steam cleaner. As a steam mop, it works really well. I used it on my wood floors and it definitely got some dirt/grime off my floor. The mop heads are washable however, depending on how bad your floors are, you may need to wash them a couple times to get them clean. Detaching the extension tube, you now have a handheld steam cleaner with a few scrubbing attachments. I used the steam cleaner on my stove and it worked pretty well. While it didn't get it spotless clean, it definitely cleaned up the grime and, most importantly, did so without the use of harsh chemicals. This is a big plus, in my opinion, when it comes to cleaning cooking surfaces/devices. Only issue I ran into was the small plastic tray that holds the steam cleaner attachments. While it fits nicely into the bottom of the steaming cleaner, if the tray is on, you're not able to hang it on the supplied wall mount. Not a huge thing but just a small irritating inconvenience.

I just purchased this and couldn’t wait to use it. First off let me say that I purchased this for a really good deal well below $150 but it’s is so worth the $150. I’m a bargain shopper. Anyway I love this steamer.. it makes a huge difference in my wood floors and takes less time cleaning now. I love that it comes with all the pieces to the many functions. I can go on and on .. it’s a great buy .. buy it, love it, and love the job it does.

Like the attachments. Cleans well. A bit cumbersome for my 60+ y/o hands, especially since one must keep the trigger constantly pressed for steam. It’s a wide span from the handle to the trigger.
