I looked at several reviews and it lives up to the hype. Works great. Easy assembly, easy to use, easy to clean the scrubbing covers (throw them in the washer afterwards). The steam temperature and amount dispersed was sufficient enough to get a deep clean.

Read some of the other reviews and figured this was the right product for the right price point.

Love the Bissell 1940 PowerFresh Steam Mop. Does what it say. No streaking on the highest setting. Cord is long enough for a room when done simply unplug no on or off switch which is no problem. Simple, gets job done.

In the past 3 years I have now purchased 3 different steam mops. I do love this one as it is easy to use, light weight, and the dry time is quick. I love that it has little scent cartridges to give that good, clean smell even though the floors were just cleaned with pure water.

The Bissell #1940 is the best steam mop we have used. We have had 2 steam mops previously (not Bissell) and this works very well. It is quick, lite and easy to use. I would recommend this mop. More pads are difficult to get - must be popular.

A decent mop for regular use. Makes your hardwood floors look fine.

Nice sturdy machine, I expected it to steam "clean" better than it does but after reading more about the product after my purchase it seems it more for simply disinfecting floors more so than actually cleaning in general. I like scented disc feature very much but can get the same result with the Bissell scented distilled waters available for any steam cleaner

I like using this to get a squeaky clean floor without using harsh chemicals. Does a great job. My only criticism is that the water reservoir does not have a flat bottom so you can't set it on a table or counter to fill it up.

Steam cleaner is great! Cleans the floors beautifully and takes half the time of a standard mop and bucket. Lent to my friends and they're rushing out to buy one. Such good value

This is my first steam mop and so far it is great. I may not use a regular mop again. I got a great price on it. I know it is a base model but that is all that I needed. It cleaned the floor nicely and was very easy to use.
