Originally purchased a Hoover carpet cleaner. Returned it and got a Bissell and works amazing. Good suction and get your carpet looking good.

This new Bissell carpet shampooer is the best so easy to use and it cleans so much better than my old one with my dogs it does a great job

Carpet. I hate it. But love this machine. I've used this carpet cleaner maybe less that l than 10 times in the past 2 years. We don't have much traffic through our home in the common areas that would require heavy use. We used most of the time when we had a cat. The machine is powerful and will get up most strained areas even if it's been strained awhile.

Really helps get rid of stains and odor from the carpet, especially after my dog has an accident.

Great cleaner, very happy with the performance for the price. Much easier cleaning of the interior parts that older models.

Bought this cleaner when our other one started to fall apart. Thankfully, we had a 4 year Geek Squad protection plan on that device, and were able to use that to get this one. Took it home, and was able to assembly it easily with a quick glance at the assembly instructions. My 13 year old daughter was the first one to use it, and she had no trouble with it at all. Actually seemed to work better than the other model we had previously for picking up pet-stains and general wear and tear from 5 kids, 3 dogs, and 1 cat. Great carpet cleaner overall.

This is a gift for my wife and she loves it. Used it straight out of the box with the cleaning solutions contained.

I had one of those pet spot cleaners which was nice but it could only clean a small area. After I left my husband, son and 115lb german shepherd home by themselves for a month my places smelled like feet, butt and dog. I bought this BISSELL - ProHeat 2X Revolution Pro Corded Upright Deep Cleaner and within 2 hours my whole place was smelling fresh and clean. It only took for about hour for everything to dry. I highly recommend this product.

I didn't want to go through the trouble of renting a Rug Doctor and I had some cleaning to do at the house (getting a room ready), so I splurged on this. I have to say I only have two complaints: the clean water container tends to run out surprisingly fast - and that the unit's loud (to my ears, anyway). That said, I put on ear protection and just got used to paying a bit more attention to the clean water level. The device pulled a -lot- of crud out of the carpet I didn't know was there. Granted, the roommate who had the room didn't do a good job keeping it clean. But that was a perfect test for this cleaner. There were a few stains from PC coolant & drinks - and a smell - to be cleaned up. I used one of the sample chemical bottles that came with the unit and it cleaned the whole room with some to spare. I wish I'd chosen the non-anti-bacterial one, though, as it left the room smelling of...geriatric person. But there are other cleaning products to choose from so I'm not worried about that point. The spot cleaning function worked well at the particularly stained spots - then I just slowly pulled the cleaner over the spot per the instructions. Keeping a steady pace is the trick, if there is one. But the cleaner laid down the spray in a tight line and did a good job at removing most of the liquid (even on the deep clean setting, the carpet was still dry in ~4 hours. I made 3 wet passes and one drying pass (again, per the instructions) as part of the deep cleaning cycle. The carpet was markedly cleaner than before and it was easy to see what the cleaner had pulled out of the carpet. It didn't take that long to complete a room & closet (maybe 45 minutes, including the couple clean water/cleaner refills). Be prepared to break it down to individual components when you're cleaning the unit itself. It wasn't hard to clean - mostly just rinsing and letting dry before putting back together and storing. It's definitely more than you'd be doing during a regular vacuuming, but not so much that you'd never use the cleaner again. We don't have pets, but considering the lint that was pulled out, I don't see most pet hair being a problem. Maybe if you have a herd of huskies, but I'll assume you'll already know how to deal with that craziness. If you know you'll deep clean your carpets and take care of the unit when you're finished, I'd say this is a good buy. It can also do hard floors with an additional accessory purchase, but I haven't tried that yet.

Got my wife this for Christmas because we moved last month and she's never had carpet before and we have lots of pets. We don't let the floor get bad and are good and cleaning up accidents but this is a whole other game changer. I can't believe what this stuff is pulling up from the people before us and our complex not cleaning well.. must have especially if you have pets!
