I previously owned a carpet cleaner and liked its performance but it was terrible to clean. This one is very easy to clean after using. It has great suction and keeps the water hot.

It is very very lightweight to begin. The set up was extremely easy. It’s come with so many accessories. BUT. My favorite part of all, is that is absolutely works!! We usually get our carpet cleaned once a year, it gets expensive. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats who pee on our carpet! Some of them are much older than others. This bissell cleaned the stains so well that it felt like I was just passing the vacuum. Unbelievable!! Vacuum really wel first. Then use the Bissell. Let the photos be the proof.

I purchased the Bissell after reading many reviews ranking it higher than the Hoover Power Scrub that I previously owned. Out of the box, it seemed lightweight and cheaply made compared to the Hoover. This turned out to be a bonus as it made for easy maneuvering compared to the heavy and bulky Hoover that always left me with sore arms and back for days. We had the trifecta of stains - pet, heavy foot traffic and food/drink spills. The carpet is over 20 years old, so no miracles were performed, but the Bissell made a very significant and noticeable difference. The biggest con of the Bissell is that the dirty water tank doesn't hold as much as it looks capable of and requires emptying more frequently than is convenient. The biggest plus to this unit is that it comes apart for easy cleaning. There is a tool included that cleans out any grime or pet hair that becomes trapped and also has teeth to run over the roller brush to remove anything trapped in the bristles. Everything is fresh and clean for the next use. I think there are better units out there for heavy duty use but for removing surface stains and general refreshing, I have no regrets purchasing this unit.

Just purchased this carpet cleaner this week to replace an older, broken one. This thing is great. It does a very good job of cleaning. We have a dog and a cat and pet hair and everything comes along with that. This machine does a great job cleaning ground in stains and also the attachments are also very easy to use. Not only does it work very well, it's a breeze to clean up! My previous Bissel would get all clogged up with pet hair and was a big hassle to clean. This one however comes apart with ease and cleans very easily. The cleaning solution lasted the whole area I need to clean.

Super Happy! I did a lot of research and this seemed to be the front runner for best cleaner and price. I previously owned the Pet Pro Spot Bot cleaner and unfortunately it broke. This carpet cleaner is as easy to use as a vacuum cleaner with professional carpet cleaner results. I read many reviews that said this machine drenched their carpet and didnt suck up the water adequately. I will say there is a bit of a learning curve. You have the option to release deep clean amounts of water or quick clean smaller amounts of water. Whichever option you choose you need to make slow passes to suck all the water up. You definitely need to have a little patience but the results are well worth it. I have succesfully cleaned pet stains, odor, urine, Dr. Pepper and mud stains. I am 100% satisfied best purchase for a great price!

I had a very bad traffic are in my man cave and this little baby did the job. Very easy to put together and it works. I must say it will save you money over time versus getting the rental units. I love it!!!!!!! The cleaning solutions to fill or kinda pricey but they work.

I finally broke down and bought a new carpet cleaner and I couldn't be happier. This unit is light weight and cleans very well. My dog tends to leave a mess on the carpet more often than I would like. This unit cleans those messes quickly and effortlessly.

Absolute must if you have larger pets! I have 2 dogs and outside of any messes made, it is great to have to steam clean furniture and maintain the carpet cleanliness. Easy to clean and operate.

Best decision I ever made! I have pets and they make messes around my home. This has gotten all types of stains out my carpet, couch, pillows, and even my bed! It’s kinda expensive but a great investment if you want your upholstered items to remain clean and neat.

This machine cleans great. It replaced my Hoover deep cleaner. The two spinning brushed make quick works of a dog mess and I was surprised that 1-2 pass quickly cleaned up the mess. Putting it together is easy. A few complaints I have is the screw hole for the handle is smaller than the screw itself. I had to use a force to get it in. Tank is also small. Smaller than the machine it replaced. Express clean doesn't see to throw a lot of fluids in the cleaning path. It barely wets the floor. I had to use the other 2 settings, deep clean and I guess max deep clean. Clean up is a breeze. I can take apart the dirty water tank and clean each part. Overall it's a great machine but expensive. Purchase this when it goes on sell. Not worth the full price.

We bought this 2 years ago and it is still working great. We carpet clean about once every 6 months. No leaking problems or any other issues I saw in other comments. Easy to fill and empty. Three settings depending on how deep of a clean you want.

My 15+ year old Bissell was tired. It squeaked and creaked, the belt slipped and the suction was getting weak. This is a nice replacement. I just unboxed it, assembled it and did a thick 5X7 rug. Works very well and super easy to disassemble for thorough cleaning. It’s also lighter than it’s older brother. The heatwave technology is nice. It uses the heat coming from the motor and directs it to the bottom of the water tank. Simple but effective. I filled the tank with hot water and when I emptied it the water was hotter than when I put it in there. My only knock is that it’s as loud as my old one. You’d think by now they’d figure a way to make a quieter motor. Small sacrifice.

Well cleaning carpet. Max cleaning/vaccum dirty water. About 4 times in a room.

Lighter weight, easy to assemble, easy to fill and clean. Performs well. Comes with two attachments which does not include a step cleaning attachment which is the only con. The latter can be purchased separately at Bissell’s web site.

I love this carpet cleaner. It's light weight and easy to use. The best part is it's easy to clean after each use. Not like the older model that was a pain.

Light compared to rental cleaners. Its super easy to take apart for cleaning, this is not something I've seen on other brands. Takes care of just about any stain I've had from the 3 P's of pet ownership, is there anything worse than cat urine?! Our cat is getting old, so something that could clean the stains and deter her from revisiting the same spot was essential. The old white vinegar/water trick only lasted so long and smelled awful. The Bissell branded Pet Urine formula sample that was included was fabulous at cleaning all areas and we still have some left over for more than 1 cleaning. You need to add clean water/dump the old quite frequently, but the weight saved over larger rental cleaners is welcome when trying to bring this upstairs myself without the husband's help. Be sure to vacuum and wipe up carpets first. This thing will still churn out pet hair deep from within your carpets in a wet and ferocious vigor. Better than stopping to unclog the brush roll during cleaning, although still slightly annoying. Also horrifying to realize how dirty my carpets really were. Overall, love this machine and Bissell's cleaner, I doubt there is a better cleaner out there for cleaning up pet messes.

Does a great job cleaning the carpets. Will pick up pet hair even after using our pet vacuum! Only downside is that the cleaner can clog with pet hair and it is a little difficult to clear the pickup section. Would buy again though.

This is by far the best carpet cleaner I've used. I just purchased it yesterday, specifically because we have an old cat who is not consistently using the litter box. I was struggling to get the carpet clean. This is cleaning all kinds of gross pet stuff out of my carpets! My only complaint is that the tanks are much smaller than on my older units, and when using deep clean I am constantly refilling and emptying tanks. However, it cleans so well that I'll deal with it. I love that this shampooer has 3 different settings, and it really pulls the pet crud (and other unknown stains) out of the carpets. Stains I was previously struggling to get out of the carpet came right out with this cleaner! Very pleased with this purchase, well worth the money! It's also fairly light weight and was easy to carry up the stairs.

Does a very thorough job and if very easy to use. The device pays for itself after one full house carpet cleaning. It's really expensive to get that done regularly!

Using the specific bissels pet urine heavy duty remover I was able to save my carpet from my rescue puppy destruction. While one pass greatly diminished the stain and smell, it took about 2 to three passes probably because of how long it set while I found a better carpet cleaner. Make sure to keep an eye on your full line of the bottom collection canister. Counter intuitive that line is about a little less than the canister fill size. The top canister contains the solution with the measurement lines in the back of the container. Make sure to place it flat otherwise your measurements may not be right and the water may leak from the bottom spout if pressed. No regrets on this cleaner and super easy to clean all the components.
