The waste water tank has to be emptied several times before the clean water needs replacing. It works well for spot cleaning a very small area. My last carpet cleaner the waste water tank would need emptied the same time as the clean water had run out which makes much more since then this one.

Over a year and still going strong

This vacuum is a life saver and comes in handy on my carpet, microfiber sofa and microfiber kitchen chairs. It did take me a while to figure out where (on the bottom) the solution sprays from to help me determine where to spray but the spot sprayer feature is a life saver.
