I have owned a hover carpet cleaner for over 5 years. The one I own they do not make anymore. So like most people I went to YouTube to figure out which carpet cleaner have the most specs that I am looking for. I decide on this one. Everything works well enough. It’s light weight. Cleans well. I only have two cons. 1) the clean water tank vs the dirty water tank. The dirty water fills up faster than the clean water empty. So you will be left with half of clean water while having to dump the dirty water. 2) the suction and drying isn’t as good as the Hoover pro clean max. I prefer the Hoover over this one. Especially since it’s cheaper and work better.

I got it when I moved to our new house. I cleaned up whole house with this washing vacuum. It’s easy to use. I love that it has accessories to clean coaches and sofas

This Bissell works very well on my carpets and is the easiest machine to clean so far. Very pleased with the results. I don't know if the channel is slightly larger for pet hair or if the motor is just stronger than my other carpet cleaner, but the results are fantastic.

We have a puppy that is still learning and this works great for us. We tried the model below this and it good, but it left the carpet pretty damp. So we bit the bullet and wanted to try this model. Easy to fill and remove water and cleaning fluid. Easy to clean all the components. It left the carpet less damp and really did a good job getting stains out and getting the furr out of the carpet that the vacuum cleaner left behind....Very happy we got it...

I'm writing this review as this is the second unit I have purchased after my rabbits destroyed the cord on my first. The only major complaint I have is the dirty water basin. For some reason it was designed with a pull tab at the top with that intended to be the primary emptying point. When you go to empty a full container of water you will almost always get a splash of dirty water that enters the spout of the container and when you return the container to the upright position you get a small amount of nasty waste water that dumps on your feet/floor. You have to pour very slowly to avoid this and its such a silly flaw as I typically have a lot of carpet to clean and I'm not trying to have this be a delicate artisan process to empty the filth and savor the smells. Other minor complaint is I wish the cord was slightly longer, but its not an issue. Overall this cleaner works fantastic. Stains come out with 1-2 passes and it dropped in price by $60 since the first time I bought it.

This model is so much easier to clean up after use. Seems to get deeper into carpet. Well worth the cost!

I got my first run with this new machine last week when my son had an unexpected puketastrophy on his beige carpet. I let the stain set too long before steam cleaning and I was disappointed that about 10% of the stain remained, but I have to be realistic. I've sprayed cleaning enzymes on the stained area and am getting ready to go for round two with the steamer. If I had one piece of negative feedback, it would be that it leaves your carpet pretty wet. It could have much better suction on it. The handheld version, the spot cleaner, has great suction, so I was surprised that this didn't. It also has a weird water sprayer feature off of the right front of the machine that I couldn't figure out how to turn off, which added a lot of extra water to your carpet that you don't always necessarily want or need. Other steamers that I've had just circulated water from the bottom, so I'm not sure why Bissel did this, but I found it to be kind of irritating.

This is a great cleaner that is easy to use and easy to clean. The attachments are very handy as well.

Best one Ive used for pet stains. It really does a good job cleaning and fairly easy to clean. The supplied tools make short work of cleaning the vac tunnel out. I have two long haired shepherds and plenty of hair! Just pop off the cover rinse and clean the tunnel with the supplied tool.

Awesome!! Does exactly what it says it’ll do! I thought I would have to clean rugs/carpet more often but I don’t. I strongly recommend this if you have dogs/cats like I do who bring a lot of the outdoors indoors.

I LOVE this thing. First of all, carpet is freaking disgusting. In my household, shoes are not worn inside, but wall-to-wall carpet and area rugs still find a way to get dirty. I typically have my carpets professionally cleaned every 12 months, but I finally got tired of "wasting" money. I purchased this carpet cleaner for about the same price of having a professional come to my home - once. My home was just built last year and the carpet is practically brand new. It is amazing how much dirt/gunk this thing pulled out of my carpet after the first use. I just welcomed an 8-week old Golden Retriever puppy into my home, and as you can probably imagine, he has had a few accidents in the house. Pre-treated with a bio-enzymatic cleaner and used in conjunction with Bissell's family of carpet cleaning formulae, especially the PET PRO OXY Urine Eliminator formula, has worked wonderfully to remove waste from the carpet and underlying padding. If you have ever dealt with pet urine, you understand that cleaning the padding under the carpet is the most important and often most difficult task. Just be careful what product(s) you are using. I did discolor a section of my carpet because I did not test it on a small area first (like the instructions say). If I had to guess, it was the bio-enzymatic cleaner that I used so I cannot fault this carpet cleaner or approved Bissell cleaning products. Hands down one of the best purchases I have ever made. It keeps my carpet clean enough so I am comfortable with letting my 3 year old roll around on it and it has protected my investment (the carpet itself). Buy this, keeps your carpets clean, vacuum weekly, spot clean when necessary, and, at a minimum, deep clean your carpets every 12-18 months, and you won't need to replace your carpet every couple of years. Unless you are removing your existing carpet, disposing of it, doing the prep work, and doing the install, expect to drop thousands of $$$ to have it replaced. Make a small investment by purchasing this thing and potentially save thousands in repair/replacement costs. Hope this helps.

Works surprisingly well so far ,( these cheapies tend to break ( this is our 3rd one, different manufacturer) Yes $ 250-$300 is cheap compared to professional shampooer … Be gentle with it , it’s PLASTIC

I’m not typically one to review because products don’t usually impress me enough to hop and and review but this deserves all the stars! We have 2 dogs and therefore our couch and rug stink. I was using another carpet cleaner and I found that it left our rug with the mildew smell. This carpet cleaner is fantastic in the sense that it seems to distribute enough water to clean but also dry quickly and properly so there is no mildew scent left over. The upholstery tool works great. I’ve used it on our couch and stairs. A warning of caution though, it is VERY loud! My husband described it as sounding like a demon. That’s the only downside but overall I am so happy with it!

Would be 5 stars but you have to dump out the dirty water so often! I LOVE that everything comes apart and it’s so easy so clean it. I couldn’t clean out my previous carpet cleaner The upholstery attachment works great on my sofa It’s worth the money

I've used this several times, and without carpet shampoo. Because the pros have told me not to use retail shampoos, I use either plain water or half vinegar. The nastiness it pulls up is incredible! Lightweight, and much easier to use than the old Bissell I've had for over 10 years!

After one of my babies having diarrhea and hand cleaning every spot by hand. I was left with a carpet filled with clean spots here and there. Very frustrated and upset and close to hiring a carpet cleaning company. I purchased this product after seeing a commercial. For exactly what I needed. After using it I was so happy that it actually worked and I didn’t have anymore sports in my carpet. I love it!!!!

I have had several cleaners over the years but this one by far is the best. Very easy to clean with all parts coming off easily. Does a great job cleaning and lighweight. A must buy if you are in the market.

We have pets, and recently a new puppy. We also have 4 kids. So our carpets get a lot of wear. This thing worked amazingly well to clean and revive our carpet. My only disappointment is not getting before and after pictures.

Super awesome. Used so many times (thanks to our dogs) and gets almost any stain out. Adapters are great and works well for cleaning couches and pillows. Must have if you have pets/kids.
