It's a good tool to have and for extra tough stains on my hardwood I just have to go over it really slow, then it comes up. I would not recommend the all purpose cleaner for hardwood floors. I used it and I felt it took some of the shine away along with making it streaky. Get another wood cleaner or the one they offer and you will be ok.

Just having back surgery, this review is a bit brief but this is a GREAT product. It virtually glides over the floor, and does a very nice job of leaving the hardwoods streak-free.

I got this Bissell powered mop to clean my wooden floors. To begin with, putting it together out of the box is very easy. If you can't figure something out the directions are very good. Initially you do have to charge it for 4 hours. Once it was charged I used the powered mop on my wooden floors. It comes with 2 bottles of cleaning solution that you add to the water tank. The Bissell did a great job on my wooden floors, it was able to remove some particles from my floors that I believe the machine wasn't going to be able to. I was impressed with the power that it has. The only downside to this mop is that the charge only lasts 20 minutes or so. It is very easy to maneuver around the floors. I would highly recommend this Bissell powered mop if you are looking to easily and quickly clean your wooden floors.

Mop works great on wood laminate floors. Easy to use and cleans well. My only complaint is that reservoir needs to be emptied when not in use or it will leak.

I was kinda excited to get this Bissell SpinWave for the spinning 2 headed cleaning pads to clean my sealed hardwood floors I also have linoleum floors. Right now I have a shark stem cleaner type mop. It work good but a lot of pushing it back and forth and scrubbing the same area if you have a little dirt. Now the spinwave I just let it do it's job and let it kinda move on it's own on the floor. I did notice a brighter shine on the floors it was very easy to use. Now I do wish the Bissell had a speed selection this only goes I speed kinda at a slow to medium speed. The other thing I wish it had was a removable battery pack so I don't have to keep the unit plugged in. This does take sometime to charge for as little time as you get to use it for. 1 charge it will run for about 25min that's not a lot of time if you want to go over the floor twice. This doe's come with 2 sample bottles of there floor cleaner witch I used it was safe on my hardwood floors. To replace the bottle is only 10.00 not bad price for floor cleaner. So overall not a bad product wish it had a speed control, battery pack.

This powered floor mop is fantastic! The way I describe this product to people is that it's like one of those machines that janitors use in schools to buff the floor (like in the movies) - except modern looking, made for your house, and lightweight/compact. Setup is a snap, all you do is attach two touch pads and add the appropriate solution/water combo. It comes with softer pads for hardwood floors and scrubby ones for tougher messes. Using it's even easier because of the rotating pads - it's basically self-propelled with the only work coming from using the on-demand spray to dispense as much or little solution on the floor (which is great for wood and laminate floors especially). In terms of solutions, there are various ones such as an all-in-one, wood, or even area rug. Which brings me to my favorite part - it can be used on area rugs too! What an insanely brilliant idea. As you're cleaning your floor you can literally just move it from the floor to the area rug - so all walking areas are being cleaned. I've already recommended this to all my family and friends. Each person has been amazed when using it and has either bought one or is saving up to get one. I've gone through a ton of cleaning tools and it ended up sticking with the traditional mop and bucket with pedal that spins the mop in the bucket before coming upon this. Everything else I've come across either didn't do a great job cleaning or if it did, it took too long to assemble/clean up. This is the perfect mix of great cleaning ability, ease-of-use, and complete tool; not to mention has replaced all floor cleaning tools and products unrelated to this. If you have hard floors, this is a must have!

About two years ago got the Bissell CrossWave, which is great, but also like the extra convenience of this which is cordless. Although it works a bit differently, both use the same cleaning formulas. This unit came with two sample-size bottles of multi-surface formulas, a set of smooth pads installed and an extra set of'scrubby' pads. It's fairly compact, no assembly required, and lightweight. The pads spin somewhat slowly and so is fairly quiet, a faint whirl, and does not bother others in the house. It takes about four hours to fully charge, and that provides about 30 minutes of runtime, for which I used about the small fill-line in the water/formula container. Ours came with two sample bottles of Multi-Surface formula. Since the floors were relatively dirty, used the multi-surface formula with the'scrubby' pads. It cleaned the hardwood floors well, picking up stuck-on dirt the vacuums couldn't handle. Also used it on shiny ceramic on a bathroom floors. The floors dried up in a few minutes, but it left lots of residue and dull-looking floors. The next day, since the floors were now cleaner but still dull-looking, used the hardwood formula, which we had for the Bissell CrossWave, and this time, it left the hardwood floor back to its normal shine. It's very maneuverable and easy to use when cleaning under the feet of kitchen cabinets and around baseboards, since the pads won't scratch them. The mop has two buttons: And on/off and a spray button. The pads start spinning only after reclining the handle and stop when putting it straight. When pressing the spray button, it also makes a faint chime to remind that it's spraying formula. For storing, it comes with a tray, so storing it with moist pads is not a problem, it also stands on its own, so it's simple to store. The pads can be rinsed with warm water or are machine washable (wash them separately from clothes). Filling up the tank is straightforward: Remove it from the mop by pushing it up. There are no latches nor other pieces that might break. The tank itself is about the size of a sports water bottle. Fill it up with warm/hot tap water to the first mark, add formula to the second mark, close the cap and put it back on the mop, that's it. It has a cap that won't leak until is fully inserted into the mop. To keep in mind, the battery is not replaceable. It would be good to have a formula for hardwoods that would provide more luster. As for the multi-surface formula, consider using less of the formula mixed with the water for less residue on shiny floors, that worked better for me.

Very happy with our existing SpinWave but so happy to lose the cord with this one. It also comes with a tray to keep the mop in when not in use which our corded one didn't have. Cleans dog slobber (Newfoundland) off our wood floors as primary thing to clean. Just need to find a place to keep it when charging as just hanging off the door no longer works. Like having two sets of scrubbing pads. Only negative... comes with two sample size bottles of cleaner. For some reason, one of them didn't have a top.

I've been looking to replace my steam mop because of its age and this fell in my lap. Using the water / solution mix - it did pretty good getting some marks off the old linoleum. I took it to the wood laminate and it also gave a nice shine, however left a bit of a cloudy residue. Perhaps a bit less solution for the future. Overall, the two different pads make a good difference and it's quiet. Very quiet. It has a bit of pull when you turn the handle and given that the pads are circular, you can't get into 90 degree corners. There is a plastic mat that you can rest the mop on and it has holes, allowing for the pads to dry - a cool idea.

The Bissell SpinWave comes with a manual but it is so intuitive that you can probably just ignore it. The indicators for the cleaning solution included in the package certainly helps too. Spraying the cleaning solution is simple. To start, let me tell you that mopping floor is probably the worst thing I have to do inside my house every week. It's a tedious job and I'm always looking for something to make it easier. This mop is very lightweight and the spinning process makes it almost effortless to mop my wood floor, since it moves the Bissell SpinWave forward. The fact that it is cordless is probably the coolest feature for me since I hate wires entangling while I work. Full battery charge is good for about 20 minutes but that's enough to finish the first floor of my house. The pads can be cleaned in the washing machine. I was very satisfied with the results. It cleaned the floors much better than I could manually. It also cleaned better than my automated robot mop although that one should be used only as a quick in-between after a real mopping job, which this Bissell can do very well. The scrubby pad was great in areas such as the kitchen where the floor is tiles and the soft ones were perfect on the hardwood floors. I did find one thing that could be better designed: the stand. It should not be used if the pads are wet because it spills. Still, this is first mop that I gladly have nice things to say about. Better than this is when they come up with a totally automated one, similar to the robot I have but that can perform as well as this Bissel SpinWave. For now, this one is hard to beat.

Right out of the box this did not require any assembly. You just slip the handle into the base unit and you are ready to go. I really like the convenience of a cordless spin mop with the built-in cleaning fluid. I tried it out right away on hardwoods and it worked great there (I could also see using a floor polish with this unit on the hardwoods). It also worked well on the kitchen tile, even getting some difficult food splatters off the floor. Like any cleaner with a cleaning pad, once the pads get a bit dirty, you start to push a bit of film around the floors. I chose to use the spare pads to make a final pass over the floor to account for this. I really like this one...

Easy to use especially if you need something easy on your back. Almost as if it is self-propelled due to how it the brushes move in a clockwise and counterclockwise rotation underneath. Came with two sample size bottles of multi-surface cleaner that worked well on our Brazilian cherry wood floor. We will try the soap that is dedicated to wood at some point in the future. Make sure you thoroughly sweep up any debris first to ensure you aren't just spreading it around and creating more work for yourself. Battery lasted for about 500 square feet but in the last section, you could tell it was losing some of its power. Recharging took about two hours and there is an indicator on the front to let you know once it is complete. Overall, this is a good product and does a thorough job. I would recommend it.

    This Is A Great Powermop

My wife and I couldnt be happier to have this to clean with. Our hardwoods are new and kids are all grown and gone so they dont get really dirty except for normal dust and cat sneezes on them. All we used on that was plain water and the normal cleaning pads and they were beautiful. The kitchen vinyl takes more abuse because of drips and drops while cooking, cleaning and taking out the garbage. Plus its alight color and we live in coal country about 1500' away from the main track between the mines and the local power plant and coal dust is an issue as we track it in and the vinyl seems to be a magnet for it. It was hard to clean with conventional mops but this power mop gets it so clean that it almost looks and feels like a new floor. We cleaned it with the Bissell cleaner provided with the powermop and it did a superior job of getting into the texture on the floor and it really dries fast, its nearly dry when you finish. The battery was only 1/3 depleated and we cleaned the Kitchen, Dining and living room combo and the bathroom. The bathroom flooring is the luxury snap lock vinyl and we used the Bissell cleaning solution on that as well.

Very easy to set up. Out of the box, all you have to do is attach the handle and put it on the charger for 4 hours, then ready to use. I like that they included 2 sample bottles of the multi purpose cleaner. Each bottle will clean your "large" size floors twice. The pads are easy to put on or take off. They attach with velcro. They are very absorbant. I mopped my large ceramic floor with one set of pads and they still could have held more. When it is turned on you can move the cleaner across your floors with ease. As to the battery, it seems to last a while. I fully charged my unit, kept it continuously running for 15 minutes and still had at least half of the charge left. Cleaning: I used this on ceramic floors with grout. For the tile part, the mop did an excellent job of cleaning. However, since the pads are terrycloth, it didn't do much for getting in the grout. I do not have wood floor to test it, but I am sure it would work great on smooth surfaces such as wood or concrete. I like the fact that the pads extend past the cleaner just a little bit so that it cleans all the way to the edges of the floor. Overall, I would say this is excellent for floors with a smooth surface. For grouted tile, it is great for a quick mop but occasionally you will still need to use something else to clean the grout.
