This mop is super amazing my mom has arthritis that limits her back and arms motion and cleaning floor is always hassle! This Bissel powered mop solved it with no more bending and pushing. Assembly is simple just snapping a handle into the body, two pair of scrubbing pads pair for hard and one for soft. My house is all tiles and this powered mop cleans it nicley and much less time. The rotating spinning pads is just a huge effectiveness on the floor. Very satisfied and highly recommend it.

I went into this test with trepidation - a battery-powered device with spinning pads and how could something so lightweight clean effectively. I came away very surprised after a week of testing and ownership. This device is so simple to use - charge it up before first use - following directions on mixing cleaning solution - and then clean. What I discovered was that even my "clean" house needed several passes (over several days) to bring my floor to a high level of clean and feel. One use is not going to clean as well as you'd like - it is much like using a robot vacuum - first and second uses will leave you wondering why you paid what you did for the device. The key with this device (and the robot cleaner reference I used), is to live with it and to use it regularly. This device saves time and will leave you WANTING to clean floors. With each use the floor leaves less brown nastiness on the pads and you will start getting the floor to just be a proper clean. Then you can just do weekly or more as you like to maintain (instead of spreading dirt from one place to another). I highly recommend this to people who are busy and/or who hate to do floors. It holds a charge and just makes doing floors nearly effortless. Cleanup of the pads is easy per the instructions and I even found hand washing with laundry detergent and hanging to dry works as well. Two sets of two pads are provided - a "scrubby" one which I used from the outset and a softer one that I now use to maintain the clean which I've achieved.

I've been looking to replace my steam mop because of its age and this fell in my lap. Using the water / solution mix - it did pretty good getting some marks off the old linoleum. I took it to the wood laminate and it also gave a nice shine, however left a bit of a cloudy residue. Perhaps a bit less solution for the future. Overall, the two different pads make a good difference and it's quiet. Very quiet. It has a bit of pull when you turn the handle and given that the pads are circular, you can't get into 90 degree corners. There is a plastic mat that you can rest the mop on and it has holes, allowing for the pads to dry - a cool idea.

Bissell Spinwave Mop Keeping It Simple

I figured by the slightly weighty feel to the Spinwave that it would be kind of powerful and I was not disappointed. The AC charger needs to be connected until the indicator lights show it's ready. Once I added warm tap water and the included cleaning solution to the easy-to-access fluid tank (it has marks for small and large jobs) and put the tank cap back on and into position it was ready to work. The two sets of included pads (fine and coarse) attach with tough velcro pads and can be set inside the storage base to make it easy to center them on the mop. Set the pads in place, and set the mop down right on them in the base, and you are ready to go. I chose the small job tank level and set about doing the linoleum floors in the kitchen and 2 bathrooms. It took very little time and with the swivel ability of the mop head itself and the ability of the pad edges to reach further than the actual mop ahead along the edges of cabinets and appliances, I was able to get clean what I can't quite hit with a steam mop. The mop motors are pretty powerful but quiet, and you can feel the "intertia" of them as they spin the mop pads. All you have to do to spray the cleaner is press a button on the handle and the unit beeps to confirm the solution is coming out. I noticed the mop wants to "travel" quickly a bit along edges of carpet edge strips, but there is nothing that seems of a concern. The ease of getting the tank in and out, the ease of attaching and detaching the cleaning pads, the remaining battery indicator (I used a third on this test) and the overall good job it did make this Spinwave mop a decent addition to your household cleaning arsenal. I bet it would make keeping a laminate floored house clean a lot easier than with a steam mop, though really high traffic and grungy situations might benefit from the heat of those. In any case, the Spinwave was very quick to set up and very easy to use.

I love that the cleaning pads are machine washable and there's a mop stand included. The mop cleaning pads rotate, which gently moves it forward. This creates a lightweight effortless cleaning process. The description says it has a 20 minute battery life on a full charge, but I think that's an understatement. It took me at least 30 minutes to clean my floor and it still had some life leftover. I believe for a new product, a full charge could potentially last between 40-45 minutes. After a certain amount of time, it will then die down to holding only a 20 min. charge. Installation and pad replacement is a breeze and cleaning the water tank out is easy. This mop is so lightweight I would buy this for my grandmother!

I've been using a spray bottle and a push mop to clean my hardwood floors for a few years. The SpinWave does an excellent job removing spots off the floor and restoring a shine I don't quite get from a push mop. Pros: The spinwave comes with two different types of pads. One set for occasional cleaning and a 2nd set with scrubbers for tougher jobs. Applying the pads are pretty easy. Lay them in the tray that comes with the SpinWave and sit the heads straight down on top and the velcro does the rest. Using the mop is pretty simple. Push the power button and it starts rotating. It moves a bit odd at times as the heads rotate on the floor, but it's pretty easy to control. Pull the trigger when you're ready for cleaning solution. The spray goes about 5-6 inches in front of the mop and the cleaning agent worked great on my floor. The pads are washable so your not roped into constantly buying disposable pads. Cons: The battery life isn't super but it's enough to finish my floors. It is also a bit large and the scrub pads take up a lot of room. Storage may be a bit tricky for some. Some may find navigating it a bit difficult as the spinning pads may sway it in one direction or another, but after a few minutes, I had a pretty good handle on it. Final Thoughts: I would recommend this if you're looking to get away from the mop or disposable pads and want to get a great shine with less effort.

About two years ago got the Bissell CrossWave, which is great, but also like the extra convenience of this which is cordless. Although it works a bit differently, both use the same cleaning formulas. This unit came with two sample-size bottles of multi-surface formulas, a set of smooth pads installed and an extra set of'scrubby' pads. It's fairly compact, no assembly required, and lightweight. The pads spin somewhat slowly and so is fairly quiet, a faint whirl, and does not bother others in the house. It takes about four hours to fully charge, and that provides about 30 minutes of runtime, for which I used about the small fill-line in the water/formula container. Ours came with two sample bottles of Multi-Surface formula. Since the floors were relatively dirty, used the multi-surface formula with the'scrubby' pads. It cleaned the hardwood floors well, picking up stuck-on dirt the vacuums couldn't handle. Also used it on shiny ceramic on a bathroom floors. The floors dried up in a few minutes, but it left lots of residue and dull-looking floors. The next day, since the floors were now cleaner but still dull-looking, used the hardwood formula, which we had for the Bissell CrossWave, and this time, it left the hardwood floor back to its normal shine. It's very maneuverable and easy to use when cleaning under the feet of kitchen cabinets and around baseboards, since the pads won't scratch them. The mop has two buttons: And on/off and a spray button. The pads start spinning only after reclining the handle and stop when putting it straight. When pressing the spray button, it also makes a faint chime to remind that it's spraying formula. For storing, it comes with a tray, so storing it with moist pads is not a problem, it also stands on its own, so it's simple to store. The pads can be rinsed with warm water or are machine washable (wash them separately from clothes). Filling up the tank is straightforward: Remove it from the mop by pushing it up. There are no latches nor other pieces that might break. The tank itself is about the size of a sports water bottle. Fill it up with warm/hot tap water to the first mark, add formula to the second mark, close the cap and put it back on the mop, that's it. It has a cap that won't leak until is fully inserted into the mop. To keep in mind, the battery is not replaceable. It would be good to have a formula for hardwoods that would provide more luster. As for the multi-surface formula, consider using less of the formula mixed with the water for less residue on shiny floors, that worked better for me.

The BISSELL SpinWave Cordless Mop is designed to fit somewhere between a Swiffer WetJet (spray and mop) and something more aggressive like the Hoover FloorMate (with scrubbing brushes that operates more like a carpet cleaner) - but its performance fails to rise to the capabilities of the cleaners that bracket it. The SpinWave uses two circular cleaning pads that spin as they scrub-up cleaning fluid that is pumped directly onto the floor from a reservoir - so in terms of functionality, it is really more like a Swiffer WetJet with spinning pads. But the motorized cleaning "action" doesn't buy you any real additional bang for your buck. The pads attach by way of velcro and any deviation from mounting them perfectly will cause the mop to move a little erratically - so the twin circular pad idea doesn't impress me at all. And even though the motorized pads create a cleaning action against the floor, the weight of the mop itself isn't really sufficient to promote thorough cleaning - I felt like I needed to press down on the mop to get things really clean and the motor driving the cleaning pads wasn't strong enough to let me do that. To be clear here, for a motorized mop, my expectation was that the added mechanics should demonstrate a clear advantage while reducing effort - I found that neither of these expectations was met. The mop did charge quickly and the charge held well while I used the mop around the house - but, again, the motor was annoyingly weak so you would need a longer battery life to support endlessly mopping over the same areas repeatedly. BISSELL includes two sets of washable pads - one for heavy-duty cleaning and one for light-duty cleaning. I wasn't able to identify any difference in their ability to clean floors. The cleaning liquid is doing a lot of the work for this mop by providing a solvent for the wheels to buff over (like using a wet sponge is always better than using a dry paper towel on a floor stain). Overall, the SpinWave is nifty but weak. A better motor and a much better pad design could have made a more usable mop - but as designed, the BISSELL can't even improve on basic non-powered mops.

This powered floor mop is fantastic! The way I describe this product to people is that it's like one of those machines that janitors use in schools to buff the floor (like in the movies) - except modern looking, made for your house, and lightweight/compact. Setup is a snap, all you do is attach two touch pads and add the appropriate solution/water combo. It comes with softer pads for hardwood floors and scrubby ones for tougher messes. Using it's even easier because of the rotating pads - it's basically self-propelled with the only work coming from using the on-demand spray to dispense as much or little solution on the floor (which is great for wood and laminate floors especially). In terms of solutions, there are various ones such as an all-in-one, wood, or even area rug. Which brings me to my favorite part - it can be used on area rugs too! What an insanely brilliant idea. As you're cleaning your floor you can literally just move it from the floor to the area rug - so all walking areas are being cleaned. I've already recommended this to all my family and friends. Each person has been amazed when using it and has either bought one or is saving up to get one. I've gone through a ton of cleaning tools and it ended up sticking with the traditional mop and bucket with pedal that spins the mop in the bucket before coming upon this. Everything else I've come across either didn't do a great job cleaning or if it did, it took too long to assemble/clean up. This is the perfect mix of great cleaning ability, ease-of-use, and complete tool; not to mention has replaced all floor cleaning tools and products unrelated to this. If you have hard floors, this is a must have!

I'm a bit of a fanatic when it comes to vacuums and mops. I have Dysons, Sharks and various other brand and types. This mop exceeded my expectations. It's easy to use and does a great job. The pads clean up nicely in the washing machine. The cordless feature makes cleaning an entire floor quick and easy. Highly recommend adding this to your cleaning collection.

I decided to try this product after being tired of using a regular mop and all the mess it entails. I have been impressed with the ease of use and how easy it was to switch / clean the pads. It cleans well with a light scrub however if there are hard stuck items will have to run over it a few times. Pros: Pads are easy to clean Comes with 2 bottles of cleaners Easy to handle and turns 180 Runs Quiet Good Battery life When spray it makes a sound Auto stops pads spinning when in full upright position Reservoir easy to read for water / cleaner mix Cons: Charges slowly Spins slow, hard stuck items will need to soak before removing Pads do not properly fit on plastic base holder Reservoir is plastic No Light The product comes with 2 types of pads; a scrub and a normal soft pad. I was impressed that it includes 2 bottles of cleaners and how little had to be used to properly clean. Reservoir:: Easy to read for portions of water / Cleaning solution mix. The markings for mixture are meant for Bissell's cleaning product so careful if using off brand. You are able to use off brand cleaners however make sure its not too thick base. Water can be warm but NOT hot as it could melt plastic container. Cap is a twist on that has a spot that water flows through. Be sure to clean cap so water deposit does not clog. Maintenance:: Pads are easily removable by Velcro to wash by hand. The pads are made well to be able to thoroughly clean. The only issue is pads are larger than the spinners so have to carefully place to not over lap. The book recommends to place pads on plastic base station then put the Bissell mop on the station to help line it up. However the pads are a little larger then the station and I found it difficult to line up at times. The entire product is plastic covering and easy to clean if needed, just make sure to wipe down with a cloth , do not try soaking any part. Battery:: Charging is easy and takes a few hours. There is a blue bar that indicates length of battery left. I was able to clean a fairly large room without risk of running out of battery. Only issue was when charging is needed it does take some time to charge. Bissell Cleaner: The cleaner has a light fragrant and cleans well. It is highly concentrated and able to clean large rooms without having to use alot of the product. It is a clear cleaner that does not bubble so when mixing with water will not see it mix. Overall its a good product that easily replaces the painful mop and maintenance cleaning makes it worth it.

I've used this mop several times in the week I've had it and so far its just about average. The battery lasts for a decent amount of time for a fully cordless mop. I would say about 30 minutes or so. I liked that it came with two bottles of cleaning solution and two sets of cleaning pads so I could use it right out of the box. Also included is a tray that the mop sits in when not in use. Not a big deal, but kind of nice to have. My biggest complaint with this mop is that it is more suitable for surface cleaning. I've young kids who specialize in making messes. This works well for quick clean ups and spills, but not for something that has hardened or been sitting overnight. I like that it cleans in a circular motion unlike my Shark Mop that just steams the floor. I wish the brushes scrubbed a little bit harder so that it would clean more of the hardened mess on the floor. I used the scrub pads with the cleanser and it picked up the easy stains pretty easily. I tried cleaning up spaghetti sauce that was left overnight and I had to saturate it with the water and it still didn't clean it all up. I ended up scrubbing it with a separate scrub brush and then cleaned it up. I thought this mop would let me get rid of the conventional mop and bucket, but instead, it is ideal for use in between heavy cleanings and for spot cleanups. For the price, I would probably buy something else, so I wouldn't recommend this mop for primary use and there are other options available that are a little bit less.

If you're used to getting old the old fashioned mop and bucket or a swiffer this might be the mop for you. This one makes cleaning up your hardwoods quick and easy. In some ways it reminds me of the old floor buffer your school janitor used...only not quite as big. I can't really speak for any big sticky, dirty messes, but I used this a couple times now on everyday cleaning of oak floors and it seems to do a pretty good job. It goes really quickly not having to deal with a mop/bucket, and even better than a swiffer I don't need to wear myself out pacing the floor back and forth and changing out dirty pads. This thing pretty much does all the work for you once you turn it on. If you're looking for a quick clean and shine and don't want to hassle with a swiffer and changing out pads and whatnot, this may be the device for you.

Very easy to set up. Out of the box, all you have to do is attach the handle and put it on the charger for 4 hours, then ready to use. I like that they included 2 sample bottles of the multi purpose cleaner. Each bottle will clean your "large" size floors twice. The pads are easy to put on or take off. They attach with velcro. They are very absorbant. I mopped my large ceramic floor with one set of pads and they still could have held more. When it is turned on you can move the cleaner across your floors with ease. As to the battery, it seems to last a while. I fully charged my unit, kept it continuously running for 15 minutes and still had at least half of the charge left. Cleaning: I used this on ceramic floors with grout. For the tile part, the mop did an excellent job of cleaning. However, since the pads are terrycloth, it didn't do much for getting in the grout. I do not have wood floor to test it, but I am sure it would work great on smooth surfaces such as wood or concrete. I like the fact that the pads extend past the cleaner just a little bit so that it cleans all the way to the edges of the floor. Overall, I would say this is excellent for floors with a smooth surface. For grouted tile, it is great for a quick mop but occasionally you will still need to use something else to clean the grout.

Right out of the box this did not require any assembly. You just slip the handle into the base unit and you are ready to go. I really like the convenience of a cordless spin mop with the built-in cleaning fluid. I tried it out right away on hardwoods and it worked great there (I could also see using a floor polish with this unit on the hardwoods). It also worked well on the kitchen tile, even getting some difficult food splatters off the floor. Like any cleaner with a cleaning pad, once the pads get a bit dirty, you start to push a bit of film around the floors. I chose to use the spare pads to make a final pass over the floor to account for this. I really like this one...

    A Great Powered Mop…with a few "problems"

Normally, when I write a review, they tend to be fairly lengthy, and extremely informative.of course, they also tend to be for serious tech products (TV, router, laptop, smart home products, etc). a powered mop isn't very "technical", thus I don't feel it needs a lengthy, overly-informative, review. That being said, the Bissell SpinWave Cordless Powered Mop is still a great product, and one worth considering.once you get over the $150 price. Before I mention anything "bad", I should start with its good points. With the included pads (one pair of standard, called "Soft Touch"; one pair of scrubbing, called "Scrubby", it does a very good job. If there's anything that requires excessive scrubbing, not even the "scrubbing" pads will do the perfect job, but it still does a far better job than I expected it to do. Bissell claims a "20 minute" battery life.in real-world use, I got slightly less than that (approximately 17 minutes), but I was more than happy with it lasting that long. The included Bissell Multi-Surface Formula liquid does more than an adequate job, although Bissell does offer more floor-specific cleaning liquids for the SpinWave (Multi-Surface Pet with Febreze, and Wood Floor Formula) for those with a "greater" need. As mentioned, above, there are some "bad" points. First, and foremost, is the price. $150 is a LOT to spend on a mop. Heck, even the corded version, at $100, is too much. Bissell would have been better off pricing the cordless version at $100, and the corded version around $60-70. So, before even considering the cordless version, one must ask themselves if they really NEED a powered cordless mop, and especially one costing as much as this does. Second, based on several long-term reviews I've read, there's a random problem of the spinning parts being "problematic". and, by "problematic", I'm attempting to put it nicely, without bad-mouthing Bissell. This is NOT to say that, if you purchase the SpinWave Cordless Powered Mop, you'll end up having problems.it's only to inform of the possibility. Thankfully, Bissell includes a 2-year warranty (in this era, most companies only include a 6-month, or 1-year, warranty), so, if you do run into any serious problems, Bissell has you covered. There's also the cost of replacement items, as well as accessories. Bottles of the cleaning liquids run $11 each, for a 32oz bottle (you can purchase a 3-pack of the standard Multi-Surface cleaner for $30, saving $3, but that'sn't really much of a savings). Then there's the replacement pads, which are $13 for a 2-pack of standard "Soft" pads, $15 for a 2-pack of "Scrubby" pads, and $20 for a 4-pack of the "Mop Pads". In the long-run, using the SpinWave could become considerably more costly than your typical mopping solutions. So, would I recommend this to others? The answer, unfortunately, is somewhat complicated. If you look ONLY at the product, itself, and what it does, completely ignoring the minor problem, as well as the overly-high cost (not just the initial purchase price, but also the cost of replacement/accessory items), then the answer would, hands down, be "yes". However, when one considers the purchase price, as well as the cost of replacement/accessory items, then I might be inclined to say "no". it's for this reason that I only gave the Bissell SpinWave Cordless Powered Mop a 4-star rating (in truth, I was leaning towards a 3-star rating, but decided I wouldn't hold the star against the price). Disclaimer: This product was provided free, or at reduced cost, for the purpose of reviewing the product. Nevertheless, the above review, be it positive, negative, or somewhere in-between, is a 100% honest review, and the price paid played absolutely no part in my review. For the purpose of this review, in regards to the "I would recommend this to a friend", I answered 'Yes", but my honest answer is described, and explained, above.

My wife and I couldnt be happier to have this to clean with. Our hardwoods are new and kids are all grown and gone so they dont get really dirty except for normal dust and cat sneezes on them. All we used on that was plain water and the normal cleaning pads and they were beautiful. The kitchen vinyl takes more abuse because of drips and drops while cooking, cleaning and taking out the garbage. Plus its alight color and we live in coal country about 1500' away from the main track between the mines and the local power plant and coal dust is an issue as we track it in and the vinyl seems to be a magnet for it. It was hard to clean with conventional mops but this power mop gets it so clean that it almost looks and feels like a new floor. We cleaned it with the Bissell cleaner provided with the powermop and it did a superior job of getting into the texture on the floor and it really dries fast, its nearly dry when you finish. The battery was only 1/3 depleated and we cleaned the Kitchen, Dining and living room combo and the bathroom. The bathroom flooring is the luxury snap lock vinyl and we used the Bissell cleaning solution on that as well.

New homeowner here. Got this Bissell and hit my floors for the first time since we moved in. Who knows what type of grime was really on the floor since the design is darker. After sweeping up all the random things, I cranked up my charged up spinwave and went to town. It is EXTREMELY easy to use! It basically moves itself around and you just guide it. It had plenty of battery left after doing my kitchen so I went ahead and hit a few more rooms. All the floors looked and felt clean. Way easier than pushing a mop or even a swiffer. The white cleaning pads were grimy after I was done, popped them in the washer and they're ready to rock and roll again. I love this thing!

I really like this floor cleaner. First of all, it keeps me from pushing a mop around the floor. I simply attach the two pads to the bottom. Place cleaner and water in the bottle, and turn it on. It does the rest of the work. The two pads on the bottom spin and clean much like a floor buffer. The unit has a rechargeable battery and works for approximately 20 minutes before needing to be charged again. I only wish it came with a removable battery to make battery replacement easier and charging easier. You have to have the entire unit by a plug to charge it. All in all, it did a great job cleaning my floors!

Bissell Spinwave Intro This SpinWave mop makes mopping fun. sort of. It's light and it has a built-in handle to make it easier to carry around. It's quiet so go right ahead and mop in the middle of the night. The power button is located on the handle for ease of operation. You can pause and put the unit on stand-by by putting it in the upright position. However, reclining it back to the cleaning position takes putting your foot on the unit's foot and pulling the handle back. A release lever would have been nice. It's cordless! Yay! It takes about three and a half hours to fully charge the battery and the charge have typically been good for +/-20 minutes of continuous cleaning time. There are three LED charge indicators located on the front (3 LEDs=100%-67%, 2 LEDs=66%-33%, 1 LED=32%-10%, 1 flashing LED means you should take a break and charge the unit). The clean water tank has fill lines to easily mix water and the cleaning formula. One for small room cleaning and another for a large room. I don't think the battery charge will last for that large room cleaning though. It comes with 4 reusable and washable pads. Two regular pads and two pads with rough strips for scrubbing. Because the cleaning formula leaves streaks on tiles, noticeable on dark tile floors. Because of that, I mainly use the scrubber pads for cleaning then use the regular pads to buff the streaks out. So much for making mopping fun and easy. There is a push button on the handle to dispense the formula and it will also make a buzzing noise while it's dispensing. It comes with a storage tray which keeps the unit off the floor and helps vent the wet cleaning pads for faster drying time. Pros - Cordless - Light weight - Cleaning pads are reusable and washable Cons - Cleaning formula leaves streaks - 3+ hours charging time for -20 minutes cleaning time - Needs a release lever to recline the unit Outro If you need to do some maintenance mopping, this will do the work easily. Instead of the breaking out the old fashioned bucket and mop, you might just reach out for this Bissell SpinWave!
