Customers value the SpinWave Cordless Powered Mop's ease of use and cleaning performance, frequently praising its lightweight design and cordless convenience. However, some users express concerns regarding the battery life and the durability of the cleaning pads. Cordless convenience
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.About two years ago got the Bissell CrossWave, which is great, but also like the extra convenience of this which is cordless. Although it works a bit differently, both use the same cleaning formulas. This unit came with two sample-size bottles of multi-surface formulas, a set of smooth pads installed and an extra set of 'scrubby' pads. It's fairly compact, no assembly required, and lightweight. The pads spin somewhat slowly and so is fairly quiet, a faint whirl, and does not bother others in the house. It takes about four hours to fully charge, and that provides about 30 minutes of runtime, for which I used about the small fill-line in the water/formula container. Ours came with two sample bottles of Multi-Surface formula. Since the floors were relatively dirty, used the multi-surface formula with the 'scrubby' pads. It cleaned the hardwood floors well, picking up stuck-on dirt the vacuums couldn't handle. Also used it on shiny ceramic on a bathroom floors. The floors dried up in a few minutes, but it left lots of residue and dull-looking floors. The next day, since the floors were now cleaner but still dull-looking, used the hardwood formula, which we had for the Bissell CrossWave, and this time, it left the hardwood floor back to its normal shine. It's very maneuverable and easy to use when cleaning under the feet of kitchen cabinets and around baseboards, since the pads won't scratch them. The mop has two buttons: And on/off and a spray button. The pads start spinning only after reclining the handle and stop when putting it straight. When pressing the spray button, it also makes a faint chime to remind that it's spraying formula. For storing, it comes with a tray, so storing it with moist pads is not a problem, it also stands on its own, so it's simple to store. The pads can be rinsed with warm water or are machine washable (wash them separately from clothes). Filling up the tank is straightforward: Remove it from the mop by pushing it up. There are no latches nor other pieces that might break. The tank itself is about the size of a sports water bottle. Fill it up with warm/hot tap water to the first mark, add formula to the second mark, close the cap and put it back on the mop, that's it. It has a cap that won't leak until is fully inserted into the mop. To keep in mind, the battery is not replaceable. It would be good to have a formula for hardwoods that would provide more luster. As for the multi-surface formula, consider using less of the formula mixed with the water for less residue on shiny floors, that worked better for me.

Quiet, Lightweight, Easy Maintenance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to try this product after being tired of using a regular mop and all the mess it entails. I have been impressed with the ease of use and how easy it was to switch / clean the pads. It cleans well with a light scrub however if there are hard stuck items will have to run over it a few times. Pros: Pads are easy to clean Comes with 2 bottles of cleaners Easy to handle and turns 180 Runs Quiet Good Battery life When spray it makes a sound Auto stops pads spinning when in full upright position Reservoir easy to read for water / cleaner mix Cons: Charges slowly Spins slow, hard stuck items will need to soak before removing Pads do not properly fit on plastic base holder Reservoir is plastic No Light The product comes with 2 types of pads; a scrub and a normal soft pad. I was impressed that it includes 2 bottles of cleaners and how little had to be used to properly clean. Reservoir:: Easy to read for portions of water / Cleaning solution mix. The markings for mixture are meant for Bissell's cleaning product so careful if using off brand. You are able to use off brand cleaners however make sure its not too thick base. Water can be warm but NOT hot as it could melt plastic container. Cap is a twist on that has a spot that water flows through. Be sure to clean cap so water deposit does not clog. Maintenance:: Pads are easily removable by Velcro to wash by hand. The pads are made well to be able to thoroughly clean. The only issue is pads are larger than the spinners so have to carefully place to not over lap. The book recommends to place pads on plastic base station then put the Bissell mop on the station to help line it up. However the pads are a little larger then the station and I found it difficult to line up at times. The entire product is plastic covering and easy to clean if needed, just make sure to wipe down with a cloth , do not try soaking any part. Battery:: Charging is easy and takes a few hours. There is a blue bar that indicates length of battery left. I was able to clean a fairly large room without risk of running out of battery. Only issue was when charging is needed it does take some time to charge. Bissell Cleaner: The cleaner has a light fragrant and cleans well. It is highly concentrated and able to clean large rooms without having to use alot of the product. It is a clear cleaner that does not bubble so when mixing with water will not see it mix. Overall its a good product that easily replaces the painful mop and maintenance cleaning makes it worth it.

Let it do the WORK for YOU
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was kinda excited to get this Bissell SpinWave for the spinning 2 headed cleaning pads to clean my sealed hardwood floors i also have linoleum floors. Right now i have a shark stem cleaner type mop. It work good but a lot of pushing it back and forth and scrubbing the same area if you have a little dirt. Now the spinwave i just let it do it's job and let it kinda move on it's own on the floor. I did notice a brighter shine on the floors it was very easy to use. Now i do wish the Bissell had a speed selection this only goes i speed kinda at a slow to medium speed. The other thing i wish it had was a removable battery pack so i don't have to keep the unit plugged in. This does take sometime to charge for as little time as you get to use it for. 1 charge it will run for about 25min that's not a lot of time if you want to go over the floor twice. This doe's come with 2 sample bottles of there floor cleaner witch i used it was safe on my hardwood floors. To replace the bottle is only 10.00 not bad price for floor cleaner. So overall not a bad product wish it had a speed control, battery pack.

I actually had fun mopping, lol:)!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is amazing! I’m 8 months pregnant and was dreading mopping my floors but it was to the point where I couldn’t avoid it any longer... It practically drives it self so takes almost no effort at all, easily maneuvers and swivels around corners and the cordless version means you don’t need to bend down and unplug every few feet! The battery was more than enough to do both floors of our house and I just threw the pads in the wash right after! The power spin brushes make it feel like your floors are getting supper clean and the cleaning solution was easy to use. It’s also pretty lightweight so I was able to carry it up the stairs no problem. I actually had fun mopping, lol:)

Good mop for reasonable price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mop was really easy to use and worked great on my hardwood, vinyl, and tile floors. It self propels well and the head turns completely to the side to get narrow areas. It is lightweight enough that I am able to easily lift it up to clean my stairs. The pads velcro on and were easy to wash and put back on. The mop has a lighted power bar to track when it is almost out of power. The cleaner resevoir holds alot and I found that the battery power goes out well before I ran out of cleaning solution. It is a great mop for regular maintenance. It would be a bit frustrating if you had an area that needed more than 20 minutes to clean as it takes a few hours to charge. Overall, I was really happy with it.

Take my five starts!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mop is super amazing my mom has arthritis that limits her back and arms motion and cleaning floor is always hassle! This Bissel powered mop solved it with no more bending and pushing. Assembly is simple just snapping a handle into the body, two pair of scrubbing pads pair for hard and one for soft. My house is all tiles and this powered mop cleans it nicley and much less time. The rotating spinning pads is just a huge effectiveness on the floor. Very satisfied and highly recommend it.

The future of mopping!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quite, long lasting battery, and good cleaning power! These are just a few reasons why I think this little Bissell would be a hit as a housewarming gift or a gift for yourself! First things first , this will clean tile, hardwood, or laminate and the solution that comes with it is a multi purpose for all three. Tile and laminate are almost impossible to ruin with something like this so that’s why at least I believe they show in the manual about cleaning sealed hardwoods and not the other two. The product is well built and the battery last for the time Bissell says and the some (which is nice considering most manufacturers exaggerate this) , I cleaned for at least 20 to 25 minutes and still had one bar. When you dispense the solution it makes a nice little beep to let you know it. Cordless technology has come so far and is definitely the future of cleaning, no more cord to trip over. I don’t think anybody would be unhappy with receiving this as a gift!

Better than a manual pad-type mop but a bit pricey
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: * Lightweight * Easy to use * Sufficient motor power * Adequate battery life * Refillable fluid bottle and reusable cleaning pads Cons: * Could use more pressure on the pads for deeper cleaning * Easy to “walk away” while spinning so have to control its motion * Poor value versus similar non-motorized mops We have terrazzo and tile flooring throughout our home. Vacuuming is necessary for regular maintenance but wet mopping must also be done to get the typical traffic areas and muddy foot and paw prints. We’ve tried everything from manual (Swiffer-type) to motorized (Floor-mate) options and even semi-commercial spinning hard floor cleaners. They all have their pros and cons, so we’re constantly on the look-out for better options. The Bissell SpinWave Cordless mop is a reasonably good option for fill-in cleaning but isn’t quite optimal for more intense cleaning. The unit is relatively light which is a double-edged sword for cleaning floors; it’s easy to carry from room to room, but the lack of heft means that it doesn’t really muscle in to scrub the floors. It does a better job than the manual mops due to the spinning pads so it’s great for day-to day cleaning, but not so great for really deep cleaning. There are two buttons on the handle that are easy to see and use; one for turning the unit on and off and the other for manually spraying the solution from the refillable bottle. The battery status LEDs are easy to see and understand, too. The AC adapter is a typical wall-wart type that plugs into a hole on the handle. A docking base would be really nice, since it has a docking tray (to keep the wet pads from sitting on the floor) but you still have to plug the charging cable in separately. Overall, the unit cleans well enough and is easier to use than a manual spray-type mop for every-day cleaning. The value for the price paid is not the best, and would be better at a lower cost (price reduction or when on sale). The included reusable pads and refillable bottle make the price paid a bit easier to accept since you don’t have to continuously buy new bottles of fluid or replace disposable pads.

Lots of clean, little effort
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was considering the Bissell crosswave initially, but feared the clean up. The spin wave is a good choice if you want an easy, and thorough floor cleaning. It is important to vacuum the floors first. The spin wave works well on wood and other hard surface floors. It is very easy to handle and the machine does all of the scrubbing while I just guide it along. It comes with two sets of pads, one for scrubbing and the other general cleaning. The pads are easy to rinse clean after use. I am overall pleased so far.

Dynamic Little Robot
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’ve ever seen the episode of Will and Grace where Rosario pushes the industrial mop machine I imagined this would be me. It wasn’t me! Bissell hit the mark on this new technology. I have three dogs and their paws leave marks all over the tile. I was scared that the Spin Wave would not perform. However, the set up took two minutes, charged fast, and the filling tank was easy to detach and reattach. The different pads are cool if you have wood and tile like me. After drying the tile smelled amazing and there weren’t any streaks. There wasn’t any water left behind and the Spin wave was easy to clean up and dock it in the tray included. It’s April in Texas and rain will pick up soon so this will come in handy for sure. My one downfall is that I wish it was too heavy because the handle feels flimsy. Overall a cool gadget that I’ll use weekly!

Lovely mop
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This makes my life so much easier. Does a decent job moping as long as your floor is not super dirty. I did purchase extra pads, as well as the scrubbing ones, which helps to ensure that I can change them as they get dirty throughout the house. They are easy to wash in wash machine and the mop is amazing for polishing of wooden floors as well.

Cleans good, but not ideal for big floors
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Makes cleaning floors easier by requiring less effort. Does a good good cleaning, but leaves swirls that are barely noticeable. I have roughly 1500 sq ft of wood floors. Biggest downside is the 20 minute cycle is not nearly enough to do my entire floor in one cleaning. Takes forever to fully charge. Probably best for smaller floors.

Awesome Mop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a bit of a fanatic when it comes to vacuums and mops. I have Dysons, Sharks and various other brand and types. This mop exceeded my expectations. It’s easy to use and does a great job. The pads clean up nicely in the washing machine. Mom Loves this
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now before anyone goes all politically correct...hear me out. purchased this for my mom before Christmas. She has tile an laminate hardwood. Now she was tired of using mops an dragging the bucket around etc....plus with my oldest brother being disabled she was looking for ways he could help out around the house...well this works fantastic for him. Very easy to use. Only issue I do have is the battery. If you have large floors or a lot of tile or hardwood around the house you might want to get one that plugs in. I cant say this part enough though....DO NOT USE any other product other then the Bissell cleaner. It really will destroy the jet in this or clog it up (already discovered this with my mom using the wrong stuff)
