Godd for specific uses

I have had the swirling motion mess up a couple of rugs that have not recovered. The SpotBot does have a hose attachment for these uses and works well but the leave it and go functionality is not for every case.

Good for small clean-ups

(Buy the extra warranty.) We use it a lot. We have had some problems with the hose breaking and leaking, rendering the machine useless. We then take it back and trade it for another one.

Finally after 3 puppies over an 8 yr period, the vac stopped sucking up water (probably because it was also collecting a large amount of short hair out of the carpet from the dogs and no easy way to clean that out + plastic parts). Anyway, convenience of having it was worth purchasing this new one. So easy, just set it and forget it until it beeps at you that it is finished.

Excellent spot cleaner

I would suggest that you try to sponge up as much of the accident prior to cleaning with the spot cleaner - just for quicker overall drying.
