I was about to rent a Rug Doctor at the hardware store next door but stopped in at B.B. and saw this. They honored in store the online price for both the cleaner and the large container of the Pet Stain and Odor Solution so away we went. The unit snaps together easily and has a handy built in handle on the top (although it’s not very heavy). My adorable but clueless rescue hound had had another bad night with his stomach and the cleaner beats dragging out a bucket of water, a scrubbrush and 75 paper towels any day. It works just like a full size rug cleaner: hot solution going out, release, and use the suction on the backstroke, but you are down on your knees so get a stack of towels. It did a great job cleaning, and the pet solution has a nice scent for those of us with fussy noses. The only reason the rating isn’t a 5 is that the suction fails quickly if there is any pet hair or even rug fuzz on the carpet. The instructions say to vacuum thoroughly before using but with pets, that’s not always practicable. You can clean hair out of the dirty tank and I back-flushed the clogged hose in the bathtub (unplugged, cord outside the tub!) but seems like a simple design flaw not to have a small filter/trap at the base of the hose owners can take out and rinse. Otherwise highly recommended.

Good for when my dog has an accident so i can clean right away.

Minimal time for set-up. Used it to clean my couch and spots on the carpet and it worked great. The water warmed quickly and the attachments worked well. Only advice I have is don't over fill if your not planning to use it all, adjust your levels accordingly to the areas you plan on using it on.

Cleaned old couches and they looked like new. Easy to use.

Works well, but a little laborious for larger areas. Would have liked a little more efficient, larger version. If you are only needing to work on small areas, I would rate this five stars.

So we just moved into a new house and bought new furniture. New white furniture. So I decided to buy this in anticipation of pet stains mostly...but then I spilled an entire glass of red wine on my new white furniture. This marvel of a machine worked wonders and my furniture is white again!! Best $100 I’ve ever spent!!!

Better than Little Green Machine, easier to clean for storage.
