Underwhelming, physically demanding
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit is very disappointing. It's a wet vac with a brush on the end, there's nothing else to it. Read the description carefully, it "utilizes" hot water, meaning you can add hot water to the tank and the unit itself actually doesn't heat at all. You get on your hands and knees, spray solution through the brush nozzle and work it into the fibers yourself. Once worked in, you push the nozzle down into the carpet and it draws moisture out. Not thoroughly, might I add, as it takes many passes and a lot of downward pressure to vacuum most of the solution back up. For me the kicker is that often you have to do the whole process multiple times because working the solution in by hand with the supplied brush is not effective. I'm cleaning up cat stains, and typically when I find an area he's been using it's hard to locate the exact spot (or spots). Since you have to get down on your hands and knees you run the risk of kneeling in an invisible stain, and even if your knees avoid the mess your hands will surely be covered in solution and "dirt" by the time your done. This product makes the process only slightly easier than spraying solution in by hand and towel drying it up. I should have gone with my gut and bought an upright motorized brush unit.

Lasted a while
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded my little green machine with this one. It was great for a couple years. Started leaking and became more of a hassle. Sticking with an upright shampoo for a while to see if I need this smaller one too

No heating element. Misleading name. Cheap hose.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using this 10 times in one year the hose broke. Also using the word heat in the machines name is incredibly misleading. The machine has no part of it that is capable of heating or warming water at all. You can put hot water inside of the supply tank but you can also do that in any of the Bissell products. The sprayer does not give an even distribution of liquid and squirts out of the left and right side of the brush and not downward. The brush attachments at the end of the hose have lots of air leaks in the flawed design no gaskets sealing the parts. So now since it’s too late for me to return this product I’ve had to make repairs to it myself. If you are in the same situation as I found myself I recommend buying silicon tape to wrap all of the parts that are leaking air, greatly reducing the suction power. Also I highly recommend not using any of the Bissell cleaning liquids. They all leave residue on fabrics and don’t do a particularly good job of cleaning. The best solution is water plus white vinegar. Saturate the surface, let it sit in for a minute or two, scrub with no suction, wet again, then suction up the liquid. all soaps and detergents will leave a residue behind on whatever surface you’re cleaning with this product because it’s suction power is poor.

Trouble from the start
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this cleaner yesterday. While assembling it, I took off the dirty water tank to look at it to make sure I saw the locking mechanism. When I put it back, it wouldn’t seat. Could not get it to make a good seal. It hadn’t been used yet! Took it back today and noticed the display model had a loose dirty water tank too. I can see why people have trouble with dirty water leaking.

Dont recommend
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cleaner was ok when we first got it for spot cleaning soda drop areas or stains. Over use it started having leaking issues and gave us more problems then we really wanted to deal with. We ended up taking it back because it kept leaking more every use.

Problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have had two of these machines and both get the job done, but we have had trouble with parts breaking. These come with warranty's but that does not make up for the cheap quality.
