The only downfall for me is that it automatically goes into carpet mode and it will catch carpets. It would be ideal if it had an option to switch it on and off.

I think if I had to do it all over again, I would get another shark vacuum, but for simplicity steak and not having to go through all the hassle of packing it back up in a box and returning it, I decided to keep the vacuum. I have wood floors and area rugs.
