Can't handle thick carpeting

I contacted support and their solution doesn't solve the issue. If you have thick carpeting, skip this product.

It is tank without suction! Work ok on hardwood but does not vacuum carpet at all! You have to go over spots multiple times. Do not buy!

This was my first bag-less vacuum, so I wasn't sure if I would like it, but I love it! It was much easier to empty than I thought and very minimal dust flying around. Definitely glad I got it!

Bissell vacuums die within 8 months.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bissell vacuums have very short lifetime and are not well made or designed. The first one we purchased had an issue with brush that failed within 4 months with light use. The replacement they sent had a very loud motor that was painful to use so we had to return it. The second replacement was working fine until the wand release button broke due to bad design in about 8 months. They do not have the replacement part. Customer service is good, but the product is subpar. It is time to put it in trash and purchase a more reliable vacuum from a different manufacturer. Not recommended.
