So last week I purchased the Bissell Crosswave which is similar to this machine in that it's a vacuum plus floor cleaner. The Crosswave was about $100 more! I went with it because it seemed, at the time, to be the better machine. Well, it worked good when I took it out of the box and initially tested it out, but the next day when I actually tried to do my entire downstairs with it, it totally failed. Mind you, my entire home is only 1200 square feet, 2 stories. It started leaking dirty and clean fluid all over the floor and the vacuum went into hyperventilation mode. So I turned it off, cleaned up the mess by hand and took it back to Best Buy. I thought I would give the Symphony a shot, since I was originally looking for a steam mop to sterilize the floors... Did my entire downstairs on the first try and it worked beautifully! Vacuumed up any stray particles of litter and hair and my super old wood floor is shiny-clean! I used one of the Swiffer disposable pads for the fragrance but I think the regular, washable pads will be best. So far, so good!!! A+

This steam mop is super easy to use and cleans the floors wonderfully. Its so great not having to vacuum and them mop. With dogs and hair that collects on the floors it really does work great. I have to sweep and mop every couple days, so if I can combine the process to my life easier, I'm a happy camper. I would suggest buying for anyone with dogs or kids. On the downside, I have found the bissel wet pads that come with it, don't seem to work as well, so I just use the microfiber cloth, it seems to big up more dirt and then I just run it through the washing machine.

I love this steam vacuum! I used it daily on my kitchen/dining floors where my two young kids are constantly making messes! I even used it on my kitchen table (not recommended for real wood - we have a cheap table). When it started leaking water we had to put it out of commission. I tried just about everything but since it was a gift and I don't have a receipt I couldn't get it exchanged. I'm purchasing a new one since my floors are constantly dirty - but I'm getting it through Best Buy and getting the warranty so if something happens again I'm covered. I can't live without the symphony any longer!! I've told all my mom-friends that it's a must-have.

Before purchasing this vacuum, I read all the negative reviews. After having a bad experience with the Shark steam-vac machine, I wanted to see what people were saying. After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. We have hard wood floors. I have only used it twice, but I love it so far. Time will tell. But so far so good.

I was unhappy with my steam mop and went to purchase a new one. In looking at the products in the store, I saw this one that was advertised as a "pet" vacuum and steam mop. I have no pets but thought it it were good for the kind of debris that pets make, then perhaps it would be better than the average mop.. Excessive water does not accumulate as it did with the steam function of other mops. Short story, yes, I am happy with the mop and it is superior to any that I have previously had and it is lightweight.

I read all the reviews and although I have to agree the cord is thick and clunky and would be nice if it retracted I still have to give it 5 stars. Just the fact you can vacuum and steam at the same time is awesome. I do vacuum first to keep steam pad clean but if you come across fuzz or pet hair it is nice just to suck it up and keep on cleaning. I bought the 2yr warranty just in case it poops out as I plan to use it a lot.

This vacuum cleaner is amazing. The suction power is fantastic and I am truly pleased with this product.

I was looking for a light vacuum cleaner to pick up dog hair and also for a steam mop. I was not aware of this model, but when I saw it at Best Buy I thought I should give it a try. I am glad that I did not spend more money on a Dyson. This unit does both things extremely well. I wish that I would have purchased it a long time ago. It works well over tile or wood floors. I definitely recommend it.

Well, after 4 years, this is still going strong. It has actually outlasted two pets already. The steam function is perfect for our hardwood floors.

Using a bucket of hot water with a disinfect cleaner would work better than this gimmick. Its very time consuming with very little results. Don't waste your time.

I have lots of CT flooring and because of this I thought it would be great but it leaves visible lines when the floors dry. Give me my old mop back!

Worked for three months now it won’t hold water at all.
