It bunches up dog hair really bad (even when you vacuum first) and leaves it in clumps on the floor. Second con being that it runs through water so fast, to do a bigger area such as your living room, you’ll need to fill and dump your water reservoirs many times.

I would highly recommend purchasing this carpet cleaner. My son play sports and we have a puppy who's in the process of potty training. I cleaned all the carpets and they came clean and left the carpets smelling so good.

Amazing On Rugs and Furniture

Dries very fast and the cleaning fluid smells great and definitely gets out tough stains. Just make sure to vacuum before using this, especially if you have pets, or you will clog it with hair and debris.

Comparing this to a rug doctor, it probably picks back up 75% of the water it puts down. I only use it in a backwards motion, without much overlap to avoid over soaking the carpet.
