Great for pet owners!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bissell Turboclean Powerbrush Pet Deep Cleaner vacuum is overall a great cleaning tool to have on hand. The vacuum is very easy to assemble and use. The directions to assemble the vacuum are clear and easy to follow. Once the vacuum is assembled it feels and looks like a quality machine. The water tank holds enough water to clean a hallway without the machine feeling heavy. The machine sucks up the dirty water pretty good and you can see the machine cleaning immediately. Since this is almost the same size as a regular vacuum, it is very easy to store. Another aspect that I love is how easy it is to clean the dirty water tank. I do have a dog so after I was finished using the vacuum, I cleaned out the brush roll and the removable nozzle. There was so much hair I couldn’t believe how good it was at picking it up. I have used it multiple times since and it still cleans as good as the first time.

Gets small-to-mid-sized areas well-cleaned
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bissell TurboClean PowerBush Pet Carpet Cleaner does what it claims to do, and does it well -- though actual run-time (defined by the amount of solution that is carried in a container on the cleaner) is somewhat limited. Let's start with this issue first. The plastic container that can be filled mostly with water and topped off with a particular Bissell solution looks to be about half- to three-fourths a gallon, which basically means you have up to 40 square feet before having to refill the container again. This process isn't difficult by any means -- it's simply different than if you're using a full-on carpet cleaner that likely has more mileage to go before having to change things out. Regardless, when filling this container first with water up to its water line, and then topping off with an included sample bottle of solution to the solution line, I had no issues with getting stains out of our carpet. This includes both notoriously famous Georgia clay as well as run-of-the-mill pet messes (especially urine). These stains had been sitting for at least several months, and they were not pre-treated before I engaged the cleaner. Your mileage will definitely vary, but on a simple pass (based on operating instructions), I was able to remove virtually all stains, where only one was significantly reduced (I could have either made more passes against it, or simply give the stain a go again when I next set up to clean). The instructions for setup and operation are clear and straightforward. The head of the cleaner appears to be a bit overly engineered (seriously -- if you get the cleaner, taking a look at it makes it appear like it's an elaborate labyrinth of compartments), however once you get the process down for draining used water/solution, you'll get how it works. Also, be sure to keep an eye for how far the head is filling; towards the top-left there's an open area that's covered by a filter sponge that will shoot spurts of water out if you let the head get too full. In spite of the caveats (if you can call them that), I was really impressed with this cleaner. It will absolutely pick up pet stains (and, it looks like, others) from your carpet. There's only so much solution you can use at a time, so don't expect to clean an entire typical living room without filling up several times. And the cleaner doesn't get the floor horribly wet in the process, and the solution is pet-safe, so you don't have to worry about the right time to clean soiled areas. A great introductory benefit to purchasing the cleaner is the 50% off coupon that comes with it, based on buying Bissell's three-product combo cleaner pack, which I naturally went after. That way, we're ready for the long term with whatever messes we get. If you're looking for a good, basic carpet cleaner to pick up small to large soiled carpet spots, this is the one to get.

awesome machine
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.love this machine. not only for how it works but i like how it looks as well. easy to use and does a great job. its easy to dump the water tank out. couple clips to undo and has a handle to pull tank off. the tank that holds the water and solution though takes a little bit to pull off. not hard per say but you have to give it a good tug. if i had to find a fault, this would be it along with it being long as well. makes it hard or impossible to fill it up in a sink. not that going to use the tub is hard but for those that might not have a tub. it also would have been nice to maybe see a plastic stand for it. i have a smaller rug cleaner and it has a plastic stand that you put the cleaner in. you then can fill it with water, turn the cleaner on and have it suck up the water to clean. as for cleaning the rug. it did a great job doing that. i did a small spot and i can see a big difference. at first i could not tell as the rug was wet which gives it a darker look so it looked the same. but the following day i could easily see were i had used the rug cleaner at. the rug does stay a little damped but not to bad. it is only for rugs. i guess there is a adaptor you can purchase separately to do hard floors with if you want. if you have a big area, you push the machine foward, then back while holding the trigger, then you go over again without holding the trigger. (then repeat until water is clear that is sucked in). so you would need to do farther spot (like mopping) and do small spots if you dont want to walk on the area you do. overall love having this rug cleaner. other then how dirty the water looks lol.

Easy to use, Compact and easy to store
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product is lightweight but does an efficient job on soiled carpet. It was easy to set up, easy to fill, and easy to empty and clean. Most areas cleaned well on the first try, some needed to be repeated, but those were heavily trafficked areas. I was very pleased with finished product and I think that further passes will improve those heavily trafficked areas even more. I also like the fact that it’s easy to store and doesn’t take a lot of space. I didn't get a picture of the carpet prior to using the Bissel so I won't waste time on a comparison, but it was able to get a really stubborn stain out my bedroom's carpet due to our dog not being able to hold it in the middle of the night. It will require another pass or two but it should be unnoticeable then. It's definitely an excellent alternative to paying several hundred for a more expensive unit or even professional services.

Compact and powerful
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bossiello turbo clean powerbrush pet is very compact which works great for us living in a condo with limited storage space. It is also not heavy. I love the retractable handle and the powerful suction that it provides. I’ve had a lot of vacuums but we still go back to Bissell when all options are on the table. Installation was a breeze, you open up the package have two screws to connect the top to the bottom portions. Big green and red buttons on the base for on and off. How well does it work? Well my two kitties are not messy enough so far for me to try it out but it works very well and not overly loud as you would expect and hope for. Feels like well made (even though it is all or mostly all plastic).

An Awesome spot remover
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, let’s talk about what it is, it states that it is for pets and spots and it works great at that, if you are looking for something that you do entire houses in one go, you might want something with a bigger tank (both fresh and used) but for me this is absolutely what I want. There are no attachments, detachable hoses or stuff like that. The direction talk about a piece that can be bought for hard floors but I can’t speak to that. The handle only shrinks about 8 inches but it is compact in the first place so for me this really isn’t an issue. I went after the area in the guest room that our dog always sept on and up until now there was a giant discolored spot in the room, using this I was able to remove that spot nicely which I was quite happy with. I also removed several coffee stains and other spots that I’ve been needing a shampooer for since our last one broke. It is easy to use and some of the more important labels like the “empty here” and such are permanently etched which is really nice for those of use that don’t use some of these devices every day or every month even. It is compact enough I can fit it in our vacuum closet where it might not get busted from a random 2x4 falling on it and doesn’t have a bag of attachments for me to loose either. The water container has lines on it for how much cleaner to use and the waste bucket attaches and detaches easily. The only two levers/buttons are usable with your feet so overall it is a piece of cake to use. There are two downsides to this that I found with this; the first I already mentioned which is that the water containers are small, which gets to the point that this is great for spot removal. The other downsize is that the dirty water container doesn’t open. You empty it out of the labeled “empty here” hole. It washes out pretty easy, however, it does that a bit if you are trying to get it to be perfectly clean. It’s still possible to hose out but you’ll need to get closer than I used to other ones when cleaning up after the dog when he got into something he shouldn’t have. It washes out well enough and you can leave it in a bucket of bleach water to kill anything that might be in there so this isn’t that big of a deal, I just had to adapt. Overall, it is exactly what it advertises to be and is excellent at it’s intended job. I would recommend it.

Works For Me
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy assembly approximately 2 minutes. Easy access to clean brush. Very light weight, easy to handle. Worked good on small fresh stains. I tried it on some older stains and they did not completely disappear but looked alot better. Very compact, easy to store away. The receiving tank is easy to remove, but, took alot of rinsing to clean. I do prefere this machine over a hand held get on your knees unit. Would definitely recommend this!

Keeps Carpets Clean
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The BISSELL - TurboClean™ PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner is a miracle worker. I have two kids and a dog, which means there are plenty of opportunities to clean up stains. Thanks to the BISSELL - TurboClean™ PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner, keeping the carpets clean is no longer a challenge. I must say I have always been a fan of the Bissell carpet cleaner as I used one in the past that always worked well. Yet, the BISSELL - TurboClean™ PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner is amazing. It's lightweight and easily maneuvers around furniture. I can carry it up/down the stairs with ease, and it's easy to use. Minimal assembly is required, only takes 5 minutes (if that). I love the updated design. The reservoir is easy to fill and the collection tank is simple to remove and empty. The only complaint I would have about this BISSELL - TurboClean™ PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner is that it does not include the option for a detachable hose to use on smaller stairs or small areas, like furniture. Still, it is an excellent machine! Durable, and high performing. It gets out tough stains, like sauce or mud with easy. The bristles extract dirt and debris from the carpet without damaging it. Truly an amazing machine. I highly recommend the BISSELL - TurboClean™ PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner. You carpets will thank you.

Fairly disappointing carpet cleaner
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start off by saying, I love Bissell Vacuums. My current vacuum is a Bissell and it is hands down, the best vacuum I have ever used. With that in mind, I was eager to try out Bissell’s carpet cleaner…Unfortunately, it fails to deliver. To start off, one of the best features about this carpet cleaner, is how lightweight it is. The handle can extend and detract into itself, making it easy to store and carry around. The cleaner is small, including the tank. The bright side to this, it makes cleaning out the vacuum and storing it - much easier. The downside, it will require multiple times of emptying the tank if you plan on cleaning more than one room. The cleaner doesn’t come with any attachments or extensions, so if you’re looking to clean stairs you’re out of luck. The biggest disappointment I have, is the power of the cleaner, it severely lacks any real power. Once I started cleaning and spraying the solution on the carpet, it took forever for the carpet to dry. The drying mechanism in the cleaner is very poor, and almost nonexistent. I would spend 10 minutes going over the same spot trying to dry it, only to find out it was still very wet. Another problem with the cleaner, is it does a terrible job at cleaning heavy or even light dirt spots. Once the carpet is done, now you have to rinse out and clean the carpet cleaner. Like I mentioned before, it is fairly easy to clean out the tank due to the smaller size. The way Bissell designed this, makes it very easy to take apart and clean. It’s just a matter of detaching, rinsing and putting it back together. Overall, I am pretty disappointed with how the cleaner performs. It didn’t do a very good job at removing any sort of dirt stains, and it does a terrible job at drying the carpet. The cleaner, has nothing special about it, no interesting features, or even any attachments. As much as I like Bissell vacuums, sadly I would have to give this a hard pass.

Good, Simple, Light, and Cleans Well
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife has used this on 4 rooms now and it does a real nice job on our carpets. Takes a little while for the carpet to dry completely, but reasonable time. Assembly was super easy and straightforward and filling and emptying is simple as well. Good product!

Not just for pets works for toddler parents too
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We put hardwood flooring in our main areas, but the rest of the house has carpet flooring. With stairs with a small landing, lugging a heavy vacuum can, and will be, frustrating. With two boys (literally) running all over the house, tracking dirt from outside, spilling food and snacks, we wanted to get a carpet cleaner at home so we wouldn’t have to pay every time. The Bissell is light, marketed at 12 lbs, but subjectively, not imposing to carry up the stairs. It stands upright like a typical upright vacuum, and it has a fairly small footprint so it doesn’t take up our entire closet. Yo can see the solution and stuff being cleaned out of the carpets being sucked up in the clear window which is nicely satisfying. It works well, and it’s light enough to carry up and down the stairs as needed.

Wow what a cleaner
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Took a bit of time to write this review. Being new it cleaned very well. But after second use after some time still cleaned just as well. Have a cat with allergies so want to make sure all carpet is reallt clean. Setup was pretty fool proof. Word of advise like any for any cleaner ensure you clean the tanks out after use and before storage. Made less passes than a hoo er i was using. Which was new that my mom was letting me borrow when i need to clean the carpet. I uawd thw Bissell cleaning agwnt and worked as it should.

I didn't know how much I needed this!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bissell Turbo Clean Power Brush Pet Carpet Cleaner is going to really help me around the house! Many don't know this, but cats can leave urine on the carpet just like dogs - it's just not as obvious. When they're not thrilled about something and want to make a point, this is their way to do it. I can smell it but usually I can't find it until a week or so later when I can see the stain in the carpet. In the past I had to get on my hands and knees and scrub and scrub hoping I could remove the stain. In comes the Bissell Turbo Clean Power Brush Pet Carpet Cleaner, and my life has improved. Easy to put together and use with great instructions, as soon as it was delivered, I put it to use. I went after that urine stain and I won! The carpet cleaner operates much like a vacuum: a pedal to step on to lower the "arm", a pedal to turn it on/off & it has a roller bar to assist with the cleaning. Fill the removable plastic clean water tank with very warm water and solution (sample included), attach the tank, plug it in and go. There is a trigger you hold down that releases the solution. I went back and forth over the spot first holding the trigger, then without which sucks the water out of the carpet. I did this a couple times and what a thrill it was to see the dirty water come out into the dirty water tank!! Success!! Spot removed, odor gone and it dried relatively quickly. I cleaned out the easily removable dirty water tank and I was done. Easy to use, and with its smaller profile, it's easy to store - this isn't intended as a big house cleaner so I will store it in the garage until the next time I need to clean a little something left behind! I think I will even leave it with the water tank leftover solution so I don't have to throw it away. This cleaner works great for me. What more could I want? I would definitely recommend this to those wanting to clean a smaller area - a room, or a hallway or as a spot cleaner. It would take longer, but I imagine you could do several rooms with it as well.

Compact, light weight, powerful
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Review for BISSELL - TurboClean™ PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner - Titanium with ChaCha Lime Accents Having a dog means occasional stains, but who wants to own a huge carpet cleaner or rent one? I initially thought the narrow width of this cleaner would make it less useful, but I’ve changed my mind. It’s great for hitting up a few stained spots or for cleaning a narrow hallway carpet. It’s light and easy to carry up and down stairs. Putting it together was a quick and easy; you do need to attach the handle with two included screws, so a Philips screwdriver is required, but assembly is easy and the documentation is very clear. The packaging was mostly eco-friendly, cardboard and pulp board dividers. I would have liked to see the components in paper wrapping rather than plastic bags. Again, the usage manual was nice: clearly written, well-illustrated, direct, and very well organized. It even pointed you to videos if you don’t like to read! Using the cleaner is simpler than some carpet cleaners I’ve used. Two foot pedals control the power and release the handle from an upright position. A long cord makes for better maneuvering in larger areas. A clean water tank is easy to fill with warm water and cleaning solution. A clear tank for the waste water lets you see that you’re getting up the dirt. I was very impressed with the cleaning power of this little machine. The vacuum was strong, but not too loud. Emptying the tank when you’re done is also quick and easy with bright green release catches and a well-placed handle to carry the tank. Clean up is simple, and the collapsible handle makes for more convenient storage. I’m a big fan of Bissell products: they pay attention to detail, produce quality and affordable products, and provide good documentation. That said, if I could change one thing on this machine it would be to mirror their Crosswave cleaners that give you measurements for a large or small amount of water and cleaner. Sometimes you just need to clean up a small mess.
