I'll get the bad out of the way first. When I bought this product I received it via download link instead of activation code. That was fine originally, but when I made a Bitdefender account, it never associated the license with it. I had to reset Windows on one of the computers I put it on and couldn't get that install back. Bitdefender's support was not very helpful and told me I had to get an activation code form Best Buy to get my antivirus. Best Buy's support team is the reason this isn't a 2 star review because they were able to get me an activation code in 20 minutes when Bitdefender's support took 3 days to refer me to Best Buy. Normally I would only knock a start off since the product itself is great, but there was one more thing I didn't like about this. When you install the Bitdefender agent, it also installs their vpn client as well. I wish this were optional as I'm wasn't planning on buying their vpn since I have one with another company. I'm buying and using antivirus to prevent things I don't want from installing themselves not to have more bloatware installed. Another thing to mention is that the av client is very light. It doesn't significantly drop my framerate in games, which is important to me, while still providing great protection. Scans don't increase resource usage by much and their file shredder is a nice piece of mind add on. Overall the product is good, but the frustration with activating it knocks a star off.

Bitdefender antivirus is very easy to install. Since I installed I have not run into any problem. It even works better than any other more expensive antivirus currently in the market.

I have not had any trouble with viruses after installing Bitdefender Antivirus Plus.

The process and the price to renew Bitdefender through Best Buy was great and worked like it should. After your subscription has been updated and shows a new expiration date, which is very quick, then make sure you turn off auto renew on Bitdefender. I have had Bitdefender for over ten years and trust it to protect my three computers.
